Guest #1- Tricia Brouk – writer – director – Tedx producer – Speakers who Dare.
Tricia Brouk is an award-winning director. She is also writes and choreographs for theater, film and television. In addition to her work in the entertainment industry, she applies her expertise to the art of public speaking. She’s the executive producer of “Speakers Who dare” and a TEDx producer. She choreographed Black Box on ABC, The Affair on Showtime, Rescue Me on Fox, and John Turturro’s Romance and Cigarettes, where she was awarded a Golden Thumb Award from Roger Ebert. The series “Sublets”, won Best Comedy at the Vancouver Web-Festival. The documentary short she directed and produced “This Dinner is Full” was official selection at The New York Women in Film and Television Short Festival, (NYWITV)as well as the New York City Independent Film Festival. She curates and hosts the Speaker Salon in NYC, “The Big Talk” a podcast on iTunes that gives expert advice on public speaking and directs and produces “The Big Talk Over Dinner” a new TV series.
Guest #2- Joy Munson
After 40 years in the making, Joy Munson, has co-written a book with her second husband Jim. It was originally published in 2008 but they were not financially able to promote it adequately. Unfortunately in 2018 Jim suddenly died and his dream of his book being out for the world to enjoy would never happen. But his wife Joy was determined, she could not let his legacy die. So with the help of Jim’s sister, they used her inheritance and began to finance Jim’s book. But then Jim’s 101 year old sister also died in Oct 2018. With passion and a never give up attitude, Joy decided this dream was going to happen so right after her 90th birthday in May of 2020 the book, “The Electrifying Demise” and it’s sequel, “The Electrifying Angels of Flight” became a reality and a legacy to the man she loved.
