Louis A. Dorio retired after a 20-year decorated profession with a local Westchester, NY Suburban Police Department. His career included the ranks of Patrolman, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain and finally as Chief of Police. He trained all levels of law enforcement officers in a variety of topics. He is a Vietnam Veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Oriskany in the Gulf of Tonkin, Vietnam.  His latest endeavor is a book called, “Murder Finds the Suburbs” based on one of his real life investigations.

Richard is a lyrist for the band American Nomads which is an America Roots Band that did a song tribute for the Woodstock anniversary. But he is also a neo-conceptual artist, having had many national and international gallery and museum exhibitions. He also represented the United States in the Karachi Biennale and has been in the Venice Biennale as well. He has a documentary of his work called, “Tiger Horse” and has had his augmented reality show called ASCENSION grace the High Line Gallery in New York.
