In this years final episode we’re speaking with James Gow. The young coach from Liverpool worked as Technical director in Abu Dhabi for Al-Jazira’s youth academy. He is considered one of the most exciting coaching talents in modern football and was led Liverpool FC's youth academy in Australia and China while developing is own tactical education program called “Underground Coaching“.
We’re talking with James about is young career, his role models and his passion for coaching. Despite his young age, James Gow is considered one of the absolute experts in the field of talent development. We also discuss the importance of values within a football club and his secret to a successful leadership and strategic personnel planning. Furthermore, James gives insights into his ideas in terms of educating young players in their use of social media. He thereby addresses crucial topics such as social pressure, distractions and self-doubt caused by the constant feedback young players receive everyday.
