Kids can have their pictures taken at school from school laptops and from other peoples cameras. They are distracted by tech, can't concentrate, control, communicate, connect with what they are required to do at school. Students are not in the "Student Mindset at school anymore, they are only half there".

Jen is a Cyber Safety Parent Consultant and Parent Awareness Advocate. She is founder of ‘Not My Kid' and manages the ‘Not My Kid’ Facebook parent support group which provides resources for parents with a focus on empowering them to keep their kids safe online.
Jen’s passion in this space stems from personal experience following her daughters contact with a predator via an online game. Jen has since gone public, with her daughters consent, and the story ‘A Regular Story that Rarely Gets Told’ is available on Amazon or via her website.
As well as running, ‘Not My Kid’, Jen has been managing her husband's psychiatric practice for over a decade. She has noted in recent years an alarming increasing in teens seeking help for mental health issues, some of which is directly related to gaming and social media use.
Jen has a particular interest in the prevention of online child exploitation and is currently studying for a Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice .
We must equip children with mental skills and good habits to prevent mental health issues and phone addiction. Kids need to Play.
