Murderbot (S01E01-02)

We’ve just powered through the premiere of Murderbot on Apple TV+, covering Episodes 1 (“FreeCommerce”) and 2 (“Eye Contact”). Adapted from Martha Wells’ hit novellas, the show follows a socially anxious, soap-opera-obsessed cyborg—played by a Skarsgård (not IT)—who’s stuck babysitting a team of well-meaning scientists. Naturally, giant alien centipedes, “accidental” malfunctions, and a few too many near-death mishaps prove these researchers are in way over their heads.
