Andrea Mai:

Right now I'm sitting under these juniper trees in a park close to my house and it is the most pristine peace I've felt in decades. And it's in the very air. The breeze is blowing leaves of June. It's just so sweet. It's just so sweet.

Andrea Mai:

That is the thing that underlies all of this. What this day feels like on a physical level is like how well it's not. Like it's how basic nature, basic reality, feels like a pristine day in June. There's nothing lacking, not one thing. There's not one thing lacking, not one thing. There's not one thing lacking.

Andrea Mai:

And so today I just want to share with you that there's nothing basic about the basics of nature. There's nothing basic about the basics of preparing yourself with these really simple practices. They open up something inside of us. They open up and reveal what really is, and that is a gift that was intended for us. That was the gift that was intended for us. That was the gift that was intended for us. And over time, as we've added layers and layers and layers of nonsense and complexity and confusion by our simple choices, one thing after the next, after the next choices, one thing after the next, after the next. In doing that, we've somehow removed ourself from the basic ground of reality, and it's okay, you know, it's okay. It's a thing that we wanted to experience and play with and experiment.

Andrea Mai:

I don't know about you, I'm really over my layers and layers of experimentation and I'm really ready to rest as much as possible, as much as I choose and intend in this sweet, soft ground, coming up with words to say, to express, to invite you into this experience that I'm having right now. Words get in the way, and so I'm going to keep it quiet for a little bit and I invite you to, just wherever you are, however you are right now, sit with me and relax, relax into what is, relax into wherever you find yourself, relax into wherever you find yourself, relax into the basic nature of everything that is absolutely supportive of your being, and we'll sit for 10 minutes today and then I'll come back and see what we might further talk about. Thank you, so, thank you, thank you. No-transcript, thank you. So, thank you, me, me, me, me, thank you. So. So Thank you for practicing with me today.
