John Arnold

I consider my guest this week to be the Wayne Bennett of the horse world.

Behind his stern exterior, lies a man who is deeply passionate about his family, his students, and of course his beloved horses.  He is kind, understanding and there lurks within a wicked sense of humour.  

John Arnold is a humble man who does not appreciate the accolades he is so deserving of.  

When asked about his greatest achievements – they of course are not about his successes, but those of the many people he has mentored within the horse industry.  

Past students I spoke with before I sat down with John, regard him as a father figure and someone whom they have deep respect and admiration for.

If I had to put into a few words what I think of John, those words would be that he is a good man.
