Today’s law enforcement professionals are faced with a multitude of issues when dealing with calls for service, or more specifically, with some of the types of calls for service. In the world of technology that we live in, individuals are finding new and creative ways to earn a living. We live in a technology-driven world that is encompassed by social media and many other digital platform outlets. We have all heard of 1st Amendment Auditors; however, do we fully understand the complexities involved when responding to these types of “calls for service” and some of the implications behind the potential mishandling of those calls? In today’s episode, we will try to address some of those issues and concerns.
Sean Quinn is a 24-year veteran Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation who served several assignments domestically and abroad. He is also a former FBI Academy Certified Adjunct Faculty Member. Mr. Quinn served in the U.S. Army, USAR, and National Guard for 23 years as both a Non-Commissioned and Commissioned Officer. In addition to serving as an Infantry officer, he held many assignments, including Chief Instructor at Officer Candidate School. Today, Mr. Quinn operates Gideon Consulting, LLC, focusing on Law Enforcement training and policy consulting. Mr. Quinn holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology of Leadership from Penn State University.
