In part Two of our organizational culture series, this month’s FBINAA Leadership APB Podcast Series examines one of the most difficult challenges facing law enforcement executives: inheriting a toxic culture or responding when a once-healthy culture goes off the rails. Through candid discussion and real-world insight, we explore how leaders can recognize cultural warning signs, confront entrenched dysfunction, and act decisively without losing the trust of their people. The episode focuses on “U-turn leadership”, practical strategies to stabilize the organization, reset expectations, and intentionally rebuild a culture grounded in integrity, accountability, and mission. The conversation is designed for executives who must right the ship while still moving it forward.
