Eileen Breen, a serial entrepreneur, has been named the recipient of the Northern Territory Award. Despite jokingly referring to her husband Jerry as the most destructive man in Darwin due to their ownership of a demolition company, Eileen's dedication to sustainability has transformed their business into a shining example of a circular economy. Recycling and reusing have become the core focus of their operations. In addition, Eileen has launched SustainAbility, a project that supports rural, regional, and remote businesses and organizations, helping them develop similar sustainable initiatives and circular economy strategies.
