"The heart is an idol factory." These words written by John Calvin attest to the sinful tendency in all of our hearts to build up idols in our hearts that take the rightful place of God. As soon as a Christian makes good things ultimate things, they become idols. Thankfully, God will always provide His children with what they need to overcome the idols of our hearts.
