In this episode we focus on Sleep and its essential role in our health, well-being and performance. I speak with Mr Nick Littlehales, who has spent over two decades working with elite athletes, professionals and sleep deprived people like you and me to educate, advocate and empower them to take control of their own sleep and therefore health and performance. We discuss his serendipitous transition to this role, from senior executive for an international bedding company to coaching elite athletes and serving on the UK sleep council. We discuss his book "Sleep" and his practical application of the ever emerging science of sleep. We discuss the importance of the biological clock and knowing your own sleep/wake habits, our sleep environment and how we can schedule and train ourselves to make good sleep a habit, not a source of further stress and anxiety.
