Speaker 1:

Hi there, welcome to Business Juice. I'm Yuta Devinich. I'm a Public Relations Consultant and Multiple Entrepreneur. I've traveled the world, worked for corporates and large not-for-profits across the globe and run several businesses, and now I am based in Mississippi where I also run a business. I love running my own business and, even though it's not always easy, I have learned so much along the way, and now I want to inspire you and re-energize you as you run or as you set up your own business, and do so with joy. So tune in and here we go. Hey there, so this is going to be our first episode under our new name, business Juice.

Speaker 1:

If you have been on this podcast before, you know that we love talking here about leadership, and before this podcast was called PsychGuys Leadership Helps. But I really wanted to make a change to how much value I'm adding to smaller businesses and solopreneurs. Some of that has to do simply also because I've moved country. We've moved from the UK to the USA and the place where I'm at there are a lot more entrepreneurs, a lot more small businesses, and, as a small business owner, I really enjoy that. I enjoy seeing people come up with new ideas, be creative and enjoy the work they do? Yeah, sure, not always. Of course, nobody enjoys their work all the time, but I wanted to selfishly be part of that community and also use the experience I've had to really help people with their desire to set up something new and to do something creative for themselves. Many of the people that I talk to are women who have families and at some point in their life they want to branch out and they really want to do something that they enjoy, something that uses their skills and talents, and something that they can do in addition to all the other things they do. But in some ways, that would give them just that carve out, that little bit of space for themselves. What I'll be sharing will be resources and tips of all the things that I've learned from how to set up a business, what to look out for, how to deal with clients. Sometimes even you know, do you need to fire a client? That sounds terrible, but we will have an episode on that. How do you ensure that you keep a balance between the things of life, between family and then work? How can you do that and still feel like you're giving 100% in both areas? So, yeah, come on back and listen into the next episode I will be interviewing one of my dear friends who is looking to start a business.

Speaker 1:

She hasn't started yet, but she has some wonderful ideas and really I just want to help you see how people come up with ideas and we'll walk alongside them and we'll see where they are in the journey. And if you're listening, you are either already on that journey or you're thinking about starting a business, or you actually work for a big company and maybe you're curious about hey, how would that be? What would that be like to set up my own business? And with my marketing background, I will be providing lots of tips on public relations, on marketing, on brand how do we do that? What do we do? But also I will want to encourage everyone to really be strategic about how you set up a business and how you pursue your goal and how to stay on track and not to go into 20 different directions at the same time. We'll also be talking about finances.

Speaker 1:

And, yeah, I do run a program here in Mississippi. It's going to start very soon. It's a solopreneurs workshop masterclass on the basics of setting up a business, and so if you are in Mississippi and you're listening to this and you want to find out more. Go look me up on LinkedIn and, yeah, touch base with me. Or go to our website at devanichemasterscom. That is devanichemasterscom. Anyway, I'll put that in the show notes, so look forward to engaging with you. Have a good day.
