Sam Chua is the lead pastor at Westlynn Baptist Church in North Vancouver, British Columbia.
Sam was born and raised in Burnaby, BC and graduated from UBC with a degree in Computer Engineering. After spending some time in industry, Sam returned to UBC to do his Master of Applied Science in Computer Engineering where he worked on technology to improve the quality of life of persons living with ALS. Following his graduate studies, Sam entered into full-time church work locally before heading to Kentucky to complete his Master of Divinity at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Upon his return to Vancouver, Sam returned to work in full-time ministry where he continues to draw on skills acquired in both his engineering and theological training.
