Colleen Preston has been a successful entrepreneur for over 25 years. She says her purpose in any business endeavour has always been to help others succeed.

Colleen started her first business as a computer instructor and authored many computer training manuals. She wrote Microsoft Certification courses as a contractor for many years until she changed careers after a horseback riding accident.

This accident led her to extensive physiotherapy where she began to take her hobby as a cyclist, runner and weight trainer to become a certified personal trainer and speaker. She opened her first gym in a garage and grew the business to 3 locations with 12 trainers and staff in the Tri-City area (Greater Vancouver, British Columbia).

As an entrepreneur she attributes good business with Community Service and great relationships with clients and community members.

Through tragic events during her ownership of fitness studios and overcoming massive obstacles, she added to her desire to help people by studying and authoring personal development courses for those who have experienced PTSD. With several workshops and her personal training business, she decided to find an “Oasis” where people could experience a holistic approach to improving health and wellness. She closed everything in 2012 and traveled until she found the perfect location.

Currently, she thoroughly enjoys her "Oasis" on the Sunshine Coast (a Ferry ride from Vancouver, British Columbia) where she is developing a retreat centre for Personal Development programs for Corporate or individuals seeking to rise to the next level in their lives.

In her writing career besides developing educational material, she is also the Nomination Policy Advisor for the Canadian Ski Hall of Fame to ensure a transparent and fair process to honour people who have dedicated their lives to the snowsport industry in Canada.

The principles she uses to guide her own life and business are easily transferred into assisting clients with their desired life by setting goals, action plans and motivating them to continue to success.

As a facilitator and trainer she takes the time to research and find out exactly what clients want and aims to deliver only the best.
