CSIS has been taken to task by the Federal court in Canada for displaying 'a cavalier institutional approach' to the rule of law'. What it did was to use human sources who posed as supportive of terrorism in counter terrorism investigations. Why is this a surprise to anyone? Borealis weighs in on this issue.
