physical approach to acting has allowed her to teach for the past 4 years at
Concordia University and has more recently expanded to self-conducted
workshops for directors and professors in Canada.
Over the past two years Meagan has merged her passion for visceral, intimate
storytelling with her drive for creating a more mindful culture in the arts. She has
received her certification as an Embodied Counsellor at the Institute of Somatic
Sexology alongside 50+ hours of specialized training and mentorship as an

institutions such as Intimacy Director Coordinators (IDC) and Theatrical Intimacy
Education(TIE). Meagan brings with her skills of coordinating intimacy,
specialized tools in somatic trauma informed practices, mental health first aid,
queer sex education and harm reduction practices for tans and non-binary folks
on set.
Queer(ing) intimacy on screen is vital, important and requires a certain amount of
attention and care because of its history. There is nothing that brings her more
joy than playing outside of the box but within the boundaries to create sensorial,
unique and diversified representations of intimacy on screen.
