Addiction has been a prevalent issue in Orange County and the rest of the country even before the pandemic. Although formal data is not yet available, we do know that relapses and overdoses have been on the rise since the pandemic.
Chief Rickard sat down with Annette Kahrs of Hope Not Handcuffs and Tri-County Community Partnerships about the challenges of addiction. They also spoke about the resources and services that these organizations provide for those who struggle with addiction.
