I've lived in Reno since September 1998, I moved from Key West Florida. If I hadn't moved, I would have died, I'm sure of it. Subsequently, I've been sober a long time, since New Years Eve, 1998, for drugs, January 25th 1999 for alcohol and April 2nd for cigarettes.
Addiction has ALWAYS been a part of me. Since I was a teenager I have always made bad choices, impetuous choices, dumb choices and just flat out wrong choices. As I tell people, this place helped me heal and to a certain degree, I'm still healing.
In 2011, I made a Wordpress blog and started writing down the ridiculous things I did, thoughts on them and why I was doing that. Well, we are a decade later and why am I rehashing them? To give a little context to my personal existence.
