Speaker 1:

You peel off that sin nature so it doesn't rule you. That's where the difference comes. But you still have indwelling sin, right? So David illustrated that. Because that's why, when he lusts after Bathsheba and the prophet came to him, he repented and he said Lord, take not your Holy Spirit away from me. Create in me a clean heart. And so that's, as a Christian, that's what we're trying to do. As far as overcoming sin, lord created me a clean heart, cleansed me from all unrighteousness, and so that's how he says walk after the spirit and you should not fulfill the lust of the flesh. But the sin nature is still there.

Speaker 2:

Amen, brother Appreciate that Good word, good word there.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I just wanted to give you my two cents on what made Christ's death unique.

Speaker 4:

Okay.

Speaker 3:

So here's my two cents. You got changed for a nickel. It's a. It wasn't fair, he didn't deserve it oh.

Speaker 2:

I, I was feel bad that I didn't think of that, but you're right, it wasn't fair, it was unjust. But when we go back to that conversation that we were having earlier about the fairness of god, that's why I like what you said, greg, because you know people talk about what's fair about God, but we can definitely see what unfairness looks like. Like my brother said in the comments, christ was the just who suffered for the unjust. Yes, and that ain't right, but it's good for us. You know what I mean. But it was wrong for him, but it was necessary for us and it was necessary for God, who wanted to have a relationship with his people, us.

Speaker 1:

Can I say something?

Speaker 2:

Absolutely Go ahead Adventure.

Speaker 1:

First of all, the scripture says God is love. God illustrates his love by doing what Giving his only begotten son for mankind. That's not unjust. That's God demonstrating who he is. I gave you all that I love. So therefore, that's why he says to love the Lord, thy God, with all thy heart, soul and mind, thy neighbor as thyself, because what is that? That's love, that's love. And so that's where that comes from, where God so loved the world, he gave his only begotten son. We cannot go say, oh, that's where that comes from. Where God so loved the world, he gave his only begotten son. We cannot go say, oh, that's unjust, because when God performs something, it is right and it is good.

Speaker 2:

Well see, here's the thing. There's always two sides looking at this. There's only two the way things look from man's standpoint and the way they are from God's standpoint. So I agree with you 100 percent, especially from God's perspective. But from man's perspective, he was delivered up by wicked hands and he was unlawfully accused. He was not guilty of insurrection. No, he wasn't.

Speaker 1:

So I see what you're saying and that's a great word there, and that's why God said walk after the spirit. Huh, that's right, because if you fulfill the lust of the flesh, you're going to fall, because when we see through our eyes, we can't see beyond God, and that's why it takes the spirit of the Lord to help you to understand. This is the love of God.

Speaker 5:

Absolutely. In the comments, star Tide said something that was really powerful. He said he always does. I know he always does. He said it is loving to not intervene when you have the power to save Wow.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, wow, that's fire. So, meg, let me ask you something, can you of Hebrews chapter 1. Hebrews, chapter 1, and read verses 1 through 3.

Speaker 5:

I'm going. My pages are falling out of my Bible. That's a good sign, I know, but I got it. My pages are falling out of my Bible, that's a good sign.

Speaker 2:

I know, but I got it All right. Hebrews, chapter 1, verses 1 through 3.

Speaker 5:

First three verses God, who, at various times and in various ways, spoke in times past to the fathers by the prophet, has in these last days spoken to us by his son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds. Who being the brightness of his glory and the expressed image of his person. Okay, wow, that just brought it made me think. He is the image of the invisible God. So that that, really, who being the brightness of his glory and the expressed image of his person and upholding all things by the word of his power, holding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high.

Speaker 2:

So what are we talking about tonight, Meg?

Speaker 5:

What are we talking about tonight? We are talking about Daniel, chapter 9, verse 24.

Speaker 2:

Right. And the second point in there was to make an end of sins. Yes, so in those verses that you just read, where do we have an indication of making an end of sins?

Speaker 4:

Go ahead, Lisa.

Speaker 2:

Right here.

Speaker 4:

It says who, having accomplished cleansing for sins, sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high. He accomplished it.

Speaker 2:

He cleansed us of our sin, and how do we know he accomplished it?

Speaker 1:

Because he got out of the grave. He did.

Speaker 5:

But in that zero he sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high in his seated position. That means it is finished, done.

Speaker 2:

It's done. He sat down and he sat down like the adventure said. You know, he resurrected. Resurrected, yes. He ascended on high and he put up there to do what?

Speaker 1:

to sit down because his work was done, yes hallelujah hallelujah amen for those, for those that believe and follow in obedience.

Speaker 2:

That's who that's for, because you can't walk in disobedience right no, yeah, because because all unrighteousness is sin got it, so he, so he, so he sat down, having purged our sin, which means that there is no sin that can precede us to the throne of the father in terms of judgment. Yes, and so the hardest thing that I have found for so many people to believe is that Christ has done it all, leaving meaning there is nothing left for us to account for. Who believe when it comes to sin Zero Hardest thing in the world to believe, but it's the truth. Now, if there is more that need to be given to prove that Daniel's prophecy when it comes to making an end of sins and filling up the transgression, if there's more to be proved, I don't know what that would be. It seems to me so far there is enough.

Speaker 2:

So what I'm going to do is I'm going to take one more Out of the six things that are to be proven having been fulfilled in Daniel's 70 weeks. I'm going to take one more. I'll save the next three for tomorrow. So the next one is to make reconciliation for iniquity. Did Jesus Christ, at his first coming? Did he make reconciliation for iniquity? Absolutely, did he make. He made reconciliation for iniquity. Mitch, make reconciliation for iniquity?

Speaker 6:

When you say at his first coming.

Speaker 2:

You can tell me, at whatever coming, has reconciliation been made for iniquity?

Speaker 3:

Yes, it has been made.

Speaker 6:

I feel like there's a but going on there, no, no, I mean it has been made. I feel like there's a but going on there, no, no, I mean it has been made. All right, I love Mitch. I think you kind of get to know me a little bit, huh.

Speaker 2:

I do. I love Mitch Mitch Lisa has reconciliation been made? Yes, sir Lisa, has reconciliation been made?

Speaker 4:

Yes, sir.

Speaker 2:

Can anybody here give me some place in the Bible to prove it? Can anybody prove it from the word of God that reconciliation has been made for iniquity?

Speaker 3:

Having reconciled us to himself through the blood of his cross.

Speaker 2:

Amen.

Speaker 3:

Amen, that's in the Bible Something, something, chapter. Something versus something.

Speaker 2:

He's cheating.

Speaker 4:

Oh, I got it here. Here's what let's see. Romans. Or if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his son? Much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Is that Romans? 15 by chance?

Speaker 7:

yes, ma'am anything else, anybody else well, not not only that, but he gave us a ministry of reconciliation. How can he give us the ministry of reconciliation if it hasn't been done yet?

Speaker 5:

Come on brother.

Speaker 2:

How about this? God was in Christ doing what?

Speaker 6:

Reconciling us.

Speaker 2:

Back to himself, absolutely. I don't think I need to go any further than this Because we have, as believers, we have, when we've come to faith in Christ, we have been reconciled to God and, like Mariah says here in the comments, reconciling back to itself. So I don't know how much plainer these things can be. So so far we've dealt with. Mick, can you mute? Can you mute everybody? Because somebody's got a lot of noise in the background? Thank you, uh, man, can you mute? Can you meet everybody, because somebody's got a lot of noise in the background, thank you.

Speaker 2:

So we, we just rapid fired off three or four passages that talk about, um, the reconciliation, and my brother start I says god did not reconcile every man to himself in christ. I, I realize that. So I think it's important for us to understand that only believers are reconciled to christ, reconciled to god through christ, and so this is a very important thing. My sister, uh, brought up another verse. Let me read it second corinthians five uh, because this was the one I was thinking of and I, um, couldn't think of it off the top of my head and I'm getting old here, but anyway, in first, uh, in uh, second Corinthians 5, 19, it says that. Let me read verse 18 now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, which is also quoted by Greg, I believe it was that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. So that passage really does a lot to cover this. And so, and when we go back to Daniel 9, we see in 9.24, as I read that the third thing out of the six that is expected to be accomplished in Daniel's 70 week prophecy is that the Messiah, the prince who would come, he would make reconciliation for iniquity, and that's what Jesus did, which means, which means that if he has made reconciliation for iniquity, then Daniel 9, 24 through 27 has been fulfilled. It has been fulfilled. It has been fulfilled.

Speaker 2:

You can feel whatever you want to feel about a dispensational, eschatological perspective on a future quote unquote seven year tribulation and a pre-tribulation rapture and all of that, but you need to understand something that if these things that we are talking about right now, if they have been fulfilled, then that whole system when it comes to this parenthesis between the 69th and the 70th week of Daniel is false, and let me make it plain, it is false. And let me make it plain, it is false, it is 100% false, all of it. The whole dispensational perspective on Daniel 9 is 100% and completely false. Otherwise, none of these things that we've already outlined have been fulfilled. You can disagree, it won't matter, because what you have to say is that these things have not been fulfilled.

Speaker 2:

The remaining three to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy, I plan to take up tomorrow evening. That being said, I want to give everyone their last word for tonight. So tonight I'm going to start with Brother Adventure. Last word 30, 30, 45 seconds. What's your last word for tonight for everybody? Adventure, al, you there, all right. How about you? George? You there, all right, all right. What's your last word, brother?

Speaker 8:

My last word is, if you have a true conversion to Christ, that that spirit of the Holy Spirit will keep you in his word, and we shouldn't take the grace of God for granted, because I see a lot of people doing that and we're not supposed to take that for granted. So we've got to be careful not to do that and to not to. I can't think of the rest of what I was going to say, but everything slipped my mind. But anyway, I also wanted to say I love you guys and God bless all of you.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, george. I appreciate it. Adventure Al last word.

Speaker 1:

Well, the last word is to prepare for the coming of Christ. So he says be ready, for you know not what hour the Son of man return, and so, therefore, we have to be on guard. We're in a time of apostasy, and what have you? So, therefore, study to show thyself approved, so that what God you'll be found pleasing in the sight of God, the sight of Christ, when he returns.

Speaker 2:

Amen, brother, appreciate it, man, and I'm so glad you came up here tonight, brother. It's the first time for you with us anyway, and I'm glad you made it. Thank you, appreciate the comments. A lot of insight, mighty Mitch. What's your last word, brother?

Speaker 6:

I hope that people are taking the knowledge, the information that they're getting and applying it to their life.

Speaker 6:

It's good for us to know, but you know, we got to walk the walk too, and not just talk the talk. And I want to say, you know, I'm honest about something I don't get into. I really, I really like the way you examined that and brought it to where it's at, because there was nothing I could push back on on that. That's why I don't say anything. If you know, I might not say something to everything, but most I'm going to say something. But the way you laid it out, man, that was, it was beautiful. I mean, that was really nice.

Speaker 6:

I can't, I can't deny, you know, anything you said contrary to the Daniel and the new covenant. So, um, that's that's what I'm listening for. You know, that truth you gave was very, very enlightening and I like that. You know, I can't speak against it and that's, I think that's what we should be listening, because at the end of the day, bro, you know, we we ought to be growing and trying to walk as Christ has commanded, you know, because one thing we can't forget is the Bible says there's got to be a difference between holy and unholy. Yes, we all got a mind to try to be exactly that. Holy for the Lord. So I appreciate you, I appreciate your panel, bro, that holy for the Lord.

Speaker 2:

So I appreciate you, I appreciate your panel. Bro man, let me tell you something everybody I know I'm going to get around To hear that coming from this brother is a big deal to me, and Mitch, you know why. You know it's a big deal to me and so that is a great message of encouragement. I want to tell you that I know you and me going to go at it some more, but that's all right. Yes, sir, but I appreciate you because I know that, whatever you say, you believe. Yes, sir, you know. And, by the way, I do believe we need to be baptized. Hey, you said that we should to be baptized.

Speaker 6:

Hey, you can fit it, man, we can fit it. Have a knockdown drag out.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly so, sister Meg. Last words Sister.

Speaker 5:

I got two things. Number one take these and meditate on them, because they just came to me. In this world you will have trials and tribulation, but fear not, for I have overcome the world. The second one is when the Lord promised us to keep us from his wrath. He is when you are in Christ and you have salvation, you will forever be kept from his wrath. Anything else that we go through, you are kept from his wrath.

Speaker 2:

That's pretty good. Yeah, that's pretty good, you know it's so. I appreciate that word, sister, because it's so often forgotten, man. So I just want to thank you for that, cause you're such a good, you're such a good servant of the Lord, and I can tell that I'm sure most people who know you feel the same way.

Speaker 5:

It's only by his grace. I'm, I'm, it's. I'm just a willing vessel, that's it.

Speaker 2:

Candy girl. You there, sister? Yes, I'm here. All right, give us your last word.

Speaker 4:

From 2 Timothy 2, verses 3 and 4. Basically, be like a soldier and just put up a hardship like a loyal soldier and focus on pleasing your commanding officer, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Speaker 2:

Amen. All right, Greg Brother Greg, how are you doing Last? Amen. All right, Greg Brother Greg, how are you doing Last?

Speaker 3:

word, all right. So we spent a little time talking about fairness versus justice, right, and when I said that Christ's death wasn't fair, I never said it was not just. Here's what I mean. You talked about unions, right? So when you're in the union, the laziest, most sluggardish slacker gets the same raise as the hardest working, most diligent guy, right, right, that may be fair in the sense that everyone gets the same thing, but it isn't just. You know what I mean. It isn't right that you know, the lazy bum gets the same benefit as the guy who really works hard, right. So there's that, right.

Speaker 3:

So Christ didn't deserve death, right, right. But it wasn't unjust that he did it, because God chose to do it that way. So there you have it, right. And then the second thing not to pick a fight with anyone, but we should take God's grace for granted. Because that's the point. When he says he's granted us grace, we take him at his word and we take it for granted. And if it's not granted, if we're trying to earn it somehow, that's not grace anymore. So, yeah, we should take him at his word and trust that he has granted us grace. That's it.

Speaker 5:

Greg, what was the last thing you said before you said we should take his grace for granted?

Speaker 3:

I didn't want to pick a fight with anyone.

Speaker 1:

Except for you, Meg.

Speaker 8:

I'll pick a fight with you any day.

Speaker 8:

Let me reiterate what I meant, because you brought that up. I'm just saying what I meant by that is we take a lot of people take maybe the salvation that we have and we don't feed into it. We don't, and it's not work-based. No, it's never work-based. But we can't just go around willy-nilly and go I'm going to sin and then say, oh well, god's got me covered. No, we shouldn't take that in his grace and be like, oh, I'm going to sin because it's all covered. No, that's what I was really trying to get to.

Speaker 5:

It's called heart posture, george. I always tell everybody who goes into a relationship wanting to do bad Nobody relationship, wanting to do bad?

Speaker 2:

nobody. Well, yeah, you know it's funny because there's always this extreme fear. Like the thing that we have to understand as a church and as God's people and as brothers and sisters in Christ is that, you know, a lot of people will say what Brother George just said, you know, which is that just because we have this grace doesn't mean we can go sin. But I don't know a single Christian who thinks that that's what they should go do and try to get away with. I mean I don't not a true Christian. I mean I'm not sitting down, going like now that I got this grace, man, you know, that woman is looking great, or that pile of money that doesn't belong to me looks great. I just don't believe that those whom God himself saves and converts and gives them a new heart, that that new heart desires to go do what the old heart did. What will be the purpose of the new heart?

Speaker 5:

exactly. And, brother jonathan, I'm going to tell you something I've sat with a lot of people in tiktok and on lives and I have, I can honestly say that I have not met one person, not one that believes that they can do whatever they want. I have never met anybody. Yeah. So, lisa, I should say I have, and that's the sad thing.

Speaker 8:

That's what I was saying.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, lisa, go ahead. Last word, sister.

Speaker 4:

Last word, I just want to thank you guys again. Each night I come in here, I learn more and more I'm so grateful for brothers and sisters in Christ and I'm just going to pray for all of us tonight that the Lord really causes us to love the things he loves and hate what he hates, which is sin. And I think, pretty much listening to all of us tonight, I think we all do hate our sin and just hate sin in general. Not that we're not going to do it because we are in our flesh until we, until he calls us home. But that's my goal is just to be one with him, one. You know my heart and his heart to be the same.

Speaker 2:

Amen, brother Brian, you got the last of the last words.

Speaker 7:

Okay, I just want to say that, um, we hear in churches so many times we've all heard throughout our lives of how these things, topics of the end times, about what we're talking about, it's not that important, it really doesn't matter. We are finding out through this study how much it matters, because it focuses on who Jesus is, why he came, what his purpose was in coming and what it accomplished A great deal. And, brother Jonathan, I just want to say, brother, I know how much it is to prepare a lesson, especially every day. So I just want to thank you. You're a great teacher. I appreciate how God's using you, so I want to acknowledge that because I know, brother, trust me, I know and we're all just reaping the benefits of your labor, but I appreciate it and all the brothers and sisters, what is happening right now. I don't want us to lose sight of it. We're being equipped, according to the scriptures for the work of ministry, to go out and do and teach what we're being taught. So God bless everybody.

Speaker 5:

I just want to say one more thing, brother Jonathan, I really want to encourage.

Speaker 5:

There's 43 people in here.

Speaker 5:

I want to encourage all to continue to come back, and you can see in Brother Jonathan's face at the end of all this that it just makes me kind of emotional, but it really humbles him, because this is truth, is so important in God's word and there's so much untruth in this world, and you know, the the bigger you realize that God is, the smaller you become, and it takes a lot of humility to even go to these places in scripture where things are to be taught, and that is territory that people don't go to often.

Speaker 5:

So, brother Jonathan, I do thank you and you all keep on coming back and let's finish this strong, and this is the unity in Christ that God is looking for. These are the, these are the times when all of us as a people come together and are edified together in Christ, and when you learn these things, the Lord gives you and grants you this beautiful authority where we can come boldly to the throne, walk boldly in our faith and not be shaken and swayed ever, ever. It is, it's so powerful and it's so humbling. It's so humbling.

Speaker 4:

It is Glory to.

Speaker 5:

God.

Speaker 4:

Amen, that was beautiful, Meg. Thank you for that honestly.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, Meg, for the kind words. Sister, I really do Everybody. So the last word before we go.

Speaker 6:

Oh Johnson. Yes, sir, Is that why you turned red? Or you were shedding tears?

Speaker 5:

I think that was necessary to make a laugh because he could have lost it. So thank you, mitch.

Speaker 2:

I hate that. I love that guy Mitch. I had to say that, jonathan, you a mess man, but you know what?

Speaker 2:

you invited me to the barbecue brother, that's for sure yes, sir so my last word is coming coming out of the book of jude. Now to him, who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory, with exceeding joy. To god, our savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen. Amen. Be provoked and be persuaded, and may God bless all of you. My brothers and sisters, have a great night, you too, brother. All right, brother, amen.
