The Bible Provocateur

LIVE DISCUSSION: SINsual Lusts of the Flesh (Part 4 of 4)

The Bible Provocateur Season 2025 Episode 492

Send us a text

Are you still drinking spiritual milk when you should be feasting on meat? This profound exploration of spiritual growth challenges us to examine our maturity as believers and our readiness to teach others.

Drawing from Hebrews 5, we unpack the writer's lament that many Christians remain spiritual infants long after they should have developed into teachers. "For when for the time you ought to be teachers," he writes, "you have need that one teach you again." This powerful indictment reveals how easily we can become stalled in our spiritual development.

The conversation takes a fascinating theological turn as we examine Christ's priesthood after the order of Melchizedek. Unlike the Aaronic priesthood which symbolized Christ in His humiliation, Melchizedek represents Christ in His exaltation. We discover the beautiful symbolism of Melchizedek bringing bread and wine to Abraham after his victory—foreshadowing Christ's communion with believers after His ultimate triumph.

Perhaps most practical is our discussion about guarding what enters through our "eye gates" and "ear gates." When we consume sinful content for entertainment, we participate in that sin even without physical action. The etymological connection between "pornography" and the Greek word for "fornication" underscores this spiritual reality. What are you allowing into your heart and mind?

We also explore the contrast between works of the flesh and fruit of the Spirit. While works require effort, fruit grows naturally through connection with the source. Your relationship with the Spirit isn't based on periodic refilling like a gas tank but on constant contact—like a subway train connected to its power line through Bible reading, prayer, and fellowship.

Ready to move beyond spiritual infancy? This episode will challenge you to deeper maturity and discernment. Share your journey with us and join the conversation about growing from milk to meat in your walk with Christ.

Speaker 1:

Again, another ploy that society today uses is that we isolate so much and we stay away from public places and public churches and all these different places that would actually build you up and encourage you in the faith. And for whatever reason, have you, you know, church heard, or whatever it may be? But we need to put those things aside, forgive and move forward as Christ would have us, because those things are there for a purpose. Give and move forward as Christ would have us, because those things are there for a purpose. And just as we were talking about husbands loving their wives as Christ loved the church, christ gave himself up for the church and while we gather together daily to fellowship, we do that also in church, but we have to find a church that's truly teaching the gospel and teaching the truth, right.

Speaker 2:

So, so right, brother, I was reading this morning when Paul said or I assume it's Paul, but I don't know in writer of Hebrews, because you mentioned Hebrews and that's what you read from. And the writer says here that he has many things to say that are hard to be uttered in Hebrews 5, 11, hard to be uttered. And he says the reason that it's hard to be uttered is because you are so full, you're so dull of hearing, you can't bear what I'm saying. So it's not that it's hard to be uttered in the sense that I can't say it to you, but it's your inability to hear adequately that prevents me and I know that it's going to be frustrating for you to understand this. So in verse 12, he says for when, for when, for the time you ought to be teachers. Now notice, he's speaking to all of them, the Hebrew church. To all of them. He tells them you are at a time where you should be teachers. Now, I don't know how many, how long well, I know how long some of you have been Christians but he says here that by now all of you should be teachers. You have need that someone teach you again. So, at the time that you're expected to be a teacher, you have need that someone teach you again. So, at the time that you're expected to be a teacher, you have need that somebody teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God. You have become such as have need of milk and not of strong meat. Meat for everyone that uses milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness, for he is obeyed, but strong meat belongs to them that are of full age, even those who, by reason of use practice, have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. See, this is the writer of hebrews. He's trying to get these folks because, remember, he's speaking to the hebrew church here. Now you have to understand something they have held to a particular way of thought and thinking For 1500 years. The Messiah comes and he turns everything on its head.

Speaker 2:

So I did a couple of posts on this earlier today by chance, talking about Melchizedek and it's, and when we read here in hebrews 5, it says in verse 10 that christ was called a high priest after the order of melchizedek. Now a lot of people speculate that melchizedek was actually christ. He was not. A lot of people speculate that Melchizedek was actually Christ? He was not. A lot of people speculate that Christ was a priest in the order of Melchizedek. But no, phineas and Eli, they were priests in the order of Aaron, but Jesus Christ, the Lord, he was a priest after the order of Melchizedek. So what is being spoken here is this? Just bear with me for a little bit. So when it says after Melchizedek, that Christ was a priest after that order of Melchizedek, he's talking about in succession, not in terms of he is of that order of Melchizedek. He's talking about in succession, not in terms of he is of that order, but that he transcends that order.

Speaker 2:

And the order of priesthood before Melchizedek, when it comes to Christ, was Aaron. So here's the picture. You have the Levitical priesthood where aaron is at the head of that, and then later we see with abraham that that we see that abraham deals with melchizedek and he is of a greater priest than aaron was because abraham gave him a tithe. He paid tithes to Melchizedek. So here's the problem. So here's the situation. Both of these priesthoods the Aaronic priesthood and the Melchizedek priesthood both of them are types of Christ. Aaron's priesthood typifies Christ in his humiliation, in his humiliation. Melchizedek typifies Christ in his exaltation, which is where he is right now, acting as our high priest, at the throne of God on his right hand. So Christ became that last and final priesthood, the one that came after Melchizedek.

Speaker 2:

Remember Melchizedek never, ever, offered a single sacrifice. Nowhere in the Bible you ever hear Melchizedek offering any kind of a sacrifice. Pardon my deviation for a minute, but I just want to throw this out there for you guys. Melchizedek never offered a single sacrifice to anyone. But what he did do in Genesis 14, 18, was that he brought to Abraham after Abraham's, after he was victorious in his battle. He was victorious and so he ties to Melchizedek. Melchizedek brought to that, to Abraham, bread and wine, bread and wine and wine, bread and wine when the victory of Abraham was over. So Melchizedek brought bread and wine, never made a sacrifice to anybody ever. Now think about this for a second. What did Christ say regarding his blood and his wine at the last supper with his disciples? Anybody jump in?

Speaker 3:

What did he say to do? Do it in remembrance of me.

Speaker 2:

As often as you do do this in remembrance of me. So it had a memorial aspect to it that took place as a result of his exaltation. Does this make sense to everybody? Because, so that's what Melchizedek is symbolizing Christ exalted Bread, wine. Go look at Genesis 14, verse 18. You'll see what I'm talking about. Challenge me, don't take my word for it.

Speaker 2:

So Aaron typifies Christ's priesthood in his humiliation. Melchizedek, a greater priesthood, typifies Christ in his exaltation After his sacrifice has already been made and after he's already been victorious. And that's why in verse 9 in Hebrews 5, it talks about Christ, the son of God, was made perfect, meaning complete, how he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him, called of God a high priest after Melchizedek's order, not in Melchizedek's order. He was greater than Aaron and our Lord was greater than Melchizedek, so I just want to lay that out there. So, mike or Kayden, thanks for getting me on this subject. Aaron and our Lord was greater than Melchizedek, so I just want to lay that out there. So, mike or Kayden, thanks for getting me on this subject and letting me deviate a little bit. But I think sometimes, when something is fresh in your mind, you make use of it and hopefully bless God's people with it.

Speaker 2:

So, anyway, we talked about lasciviousness and uncleanness and all the aspects of which these things uncleanness and lasciviousness take adultery and fornication and take these sensual sins and aggravate them and increase their quality, if I can use that word. In other words, they increase it in a bad way and they take it to the nether levels and go to heights. Prostitution Would fit in here, you know. Pedophilia Would fit in here. Bestiality, these things fit in here. All theseity, these things fit in here, all these things. But then these folks want to take it to a whole nother level, and I'm sure that there's more out there than I want to know or care to know about. But this is what is happening and I want to say one thing else, because somebody mentioned this earlier is happening. And I want to say one thing else, because somebody mentioned this earlier I think it was Brother Canaan that was talking about being careful of what we consume through the ear gates and the eye gates, meaning what we watch and what we hear. And this is a very true statement, because you may say, well, I don't really indulge in uncleanness, I'm not really involved in lasciviousness, but let me tell you something else. If you watch it and you consume it and you take pleasure in it when you do, you're doing it Because then it becomes part of that fornication aspect which I told you. Fornication comes from the word that we actually use as pornography. Our English word, pornography, comes from this Greek word. Translated, fornication, it's the word pornography.

Speaker 2:

So, with that being said, I'm going to stop there because I'll be introducing another category tomorrow evening and it's going to be dealing with the religious sins, and then the other one is going to be social sins and then other indulgences that I want to talk about in these things. But I think sometimes it's needful for us, and it's good for all of us, to look at the Word of God and extract from it things that we can apply to our lives from a practical standpoint. I like to talk, I love to talk about theological things, weighty things, and I like to do that. But the one thing good about doing an exposition it forces you to deal with everything. And, brothers and sisters, if we are ever dealing with any passage of scripture or text of scripture that I'm expositing, I never want to be one that is guilty of skipping over something or whitewashing truth If I skip something, or it seems like I'm going to skip something, hold me accountable on the spot, because that's what we're here to do.

Speaker 2:

Now I'm going to close, and I'm going to close in my usual way by giving everybody a chance to give us the last word for the night. No sermons. Give us the last word before we close tonight. And I can't tell you how, how happy I am to be sort of back in the proverbial saddle again, but I skip Bible study days sometimes. I know, sister, and I hate when I do believe me nobody. I know, sister, and I hate when I do believe me nobody. Uh, I really hate it when I miss a single day. But, um, I'm trying to be as more more diligent as I possibly can. So, candy, last word for the night no sermons go ahead.

Speaker 5:

Sister, I just got, I don't know like it led me to ezekiel for some reason, and I'm in chapter 36, and it's wild because where he says he'll give us a new heart. I will give you a new spirit. I will put within you, I will take the stony heart I'm in 36 and I started at 26 and he'll give us, uh, he'll take away our stony heart out of our flesh and I will give you a heart of flesh. I'll put a new. I'll put my spirit within you, cause you to walk in my statutes and you shall keep my judgments and do them. 29,. He says I will also save you from all your uncleanliness and I will call for the corn and it will increase and lay no famine upon you.

Speaker 5:

Then he goes on to say then you shall remember your own evil ways and your doings that were not good and you shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your own iniquities and for your abominations. Not for your sakes did do I this, said the lord god. Be it known unto you. Be ashamed be and be confounded for your own ways, oh, house of israel. Thus said the lord god. In that day I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities. I will also cause you to dwell in the cities and the wastes shall be built and the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by. And they shall. The land that was desolate is become like the garden of eden, and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced and are inhabited. And basically what he's doing is he's just rebuilding every bit of it back to his original purpose for creating it and the new Israel and all the land that is ruined from the uncleanliness and the sinful ways. And he's given us a new spirit so that when he takes us back there and he gives it back to us, we get to enjoy it.

Speaker 5:

For those who what's the word I want to use when you take it advantage and for granted? When you take it advantage and for granted, and it's just beautiful because he says you know he's just, he will give us and he will do what it takes for us to turn from the worldly, sinful, lustful ways. So it's again. It goes back to the beginning of this live, when we were talking about the sanctification process. It everything happens up to the day Jesus comes back, because everything that happens between the time we've come into him till that day is the process that we change to be more like him. So when he comes back we are like him in our new jerusalem with him. It's just so beautiful like, oh my gosh, it's amazing.

Speaker 6:

I'm sorry, sorry, sorry for the sermon that's all right, sister, for the greg last word yeah, I don't know, um, good stuff, good stuff, um, so the works of the flesh, the fruit of the spirit. So I don't know, I've just had it. You know, I've heard it said before that, like you know, the works of the flesh are, like, that's work, right, but the fruit of the spirit is like the fruit of a tree, where, you know, the tree doesn't, you know, grunt out fruit, right, it's not, it's just a natural, natural occurrence. Natural occurrence, so, uh, you stay in contact with the spirit and it's just a natural uh flow and the yeah.

Speaker 6:

Well, that's another thing someone said to me one time about you know, um, you know our relationship with the spirit. Like it, it doesn't work so much on a storage principle. Like a gas tank, like you, you fill it up and then you go for a while and then fill it up again. They said it's it's more of a contact principle, like, uh, like a subway train or a monorail. You know is what you mean. It's contact with the power source right right and that that's through.

Speaker 6:

You know, bible reading, reading, prayer, fellowship, all that stuff.

Speaker 2:

Making use of the means of grace is what it comes down to. So right, brother Jeff, man of God, go ahead.

Speaker 8:

Last word Well, I wanted to put in a plug that I do attend church and I attend a Bible-believing church and God has always been gracious to me. I've always been able to find them and it's a fairly big church there's probably about 500 in each service. But the thing is, you know what we have the screen for is they put the lyrics up there. Generally we sing a mix of praise songs and hymns, but we don't use the books because it's easier to just put it up there for everybody to read.

Speaker 8:

But what I want to say is that the preacher they have there and I don't worship the man, as you know, but he's a fine preacher, I've known him for 20 years and he preached the finest sermon on hell I've ever heard. This past Sunday he said he was going to preach on a subject that wasn't very comfortable and preached a brilliant sermon on hell. And you know there wasn't pounding the pulpit and saying you know, repent or you're going to go to hell. I mean, he just laid out the facts of how much Jesus talked about it and what it meant and why we should witness to people because we're all naturally going there. Go ahead.

Speaker 2:

You know, there are many good churches that are out. There are many good churches that are out there and um and um. But I think, but I also think that there is probably a whole lot more today that are just terrible because churches in a lot of ways today. You know I ain't gonna labor on this issue tonight, but they have become businesses. They've become businesses yeah.

Speaker 2:

And they've become performative. And so you know, and the thing about it is they get away from the basic elements of what the church relationship and his people, how they should be commuting with one another. I'm looking forward to doing a maybe after we finish Galatians. I may do this thing on the church itself, because I feel compelled to do so because of conversations that I've been having with various people, greg included. I'm beginning to see things that I never had. I never in my previous years, have ever been, have ever it never required looking at, because I just never experienced what's happening today because I was sort of sheltered in a type of a church that is a good one. It sounds like yours may be too, but anyway, I'll deal with that subject when I cross that bridge.

Speaker 8:

Well, and the other thing is I like the way they set it up. This church is a little bit different than the ones I went to, because they have announcements. They don't pass the plate ever. They've got it set up where you can do it online. They've got boxes you can drop things in, but they don't pass the plate and what it is. They have announcements and then the choir praise team I'm on the choir, sing three songs and then the preacher preaches. You know anywhere from 40 to plus minutes and you know to me that's the way to go preach and you know to me that's the way to go Preach it. Brother, If you want to preach an hour, I'm sitting here.

Speaker 2:

I mean, I'm the same way If somebody's bringing the truth.

Speaker 8:

I want to hear it. I want to hear it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, sister, lisa go ahead Last word.

Speaker 3:

This is another good one. I've been missing it a lot, so I'm so happy to be back. I'm happy you're back on here, figured out how to do something. Um, I just look forward to the next installment. I, like you, know, this is a great reminder of some of those things that we don't think about every single day, but it's a great reminder to keep our eyes and ears guarded, to always be aware of what's going on and keep on that armor of God every single day.

Speaker 2:

I was so angry when my thing went down, I was so mad and I even told my wife. I said I'm not doing this again. I'm not going to do this again. I'm done with this Right.

Speaker 3:

You was pouting for a few days.

Speaker 2:

I was so upset. And then my wife says, just use mine, just use what I'm on right now, just use this. And I was like maybe that would work. Don't go work. You know, and I tell you, I wouldn't even be on TikTok if it wasn't for her. I really wouldn't. But you know, but I started to think when she was telling me, because she kept insisting, just use it. And then she thought there was some reason why I didn't want to use this one. But I was like no, it wasn't that why I didn't want to use this one. But I was like, no, it wasn't that, I just don't want to, I like continuity.

Speaker 2:

But then God was showing me, maybe this is continuity, you know, maybe this is the continuity that you know, because we don't look at things the way he does and we don't see things the way he does. And so maybe coming here is a way to, you know, for having you guys here to jump starts a whole nother audience. I don't know, I don't know, but God took that one down. I mean, it's still up, but I can't access it, and whatever he's going to have me do, I'm going to do so, you know, and that's why I told you, lisa. I'm not going to be deterred, I'm going to continue to go. I may pout and get mad and fuss and fight with the Lord, but he's like, just do what I say.

Speaker 3:

Don't be, jonah. You know, how that ends up.

Speaker 5:

See, Brother Jonathan, when you seek the good and the bad, seek Jesus and all the bad, and he always has something good coming out from it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he does, sister Mariah, we thank your beautiful wife.

Speaker 3:

We got to thank your beautiful wife, all of us on here, and God bless her Cause you know, this is our thank you, miss Eubanks.

Speaker 5:

Thank you and I even think about it, Jonathan, that you're the one that you had or was redoing or something, but it didn't have enough people following you in order for you to actually be able to do your lives too.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's why, that's why my wife was telling me to just use she was, just use this one here, for you know that she has, and you know to put her stuff over there. Just do it here, cause you know and you know, and what it also tells me too is that you know, you know and you know, and what it also tells me too is that you know, you know, it just reaffirms always that God gave me the right woman for me because she encourages this for me. You know, she knows my heart is in this, and so to have somebody that gets behind you that way, that supports how you want to do things for the, that supports your service with the Lord, that's, that's, that's a. That's a strange thing sometimes, because a lot of times women aren't behind you, some of them just aren't behind you and I and I'm not picking on women, I'm just saying I'm a man, so that's that's the only way I can see it.

Speaker 5:

Um, but just not as mature as some. That's all. We just don't mature at times until we get matured and you got a mature one.

Speaker 2:

For the ladies here that are listening that are on here and that listen, I cannot tell you. I cannot tell you how much of a blessing and a benefit you can be to your husband if you let him do what the Lord wants him to do. I can't tell you enough, because it's not just his ministry work. When he know, when a man understands that you're supporting him, it makes him stronger and makes him more capable of serving you. So you know. Another subject for another day. I don't want to do a sermon now, but you know, you know what I'm saying, sister Mariah. Last word.

Speaker 7:

God bless her. What a beautiful woman you have. Um, she's working for the kingdom. Although we don't see her, she's behind the scenes and she's making things happen for us to be able to all meet and congregate together. So bless her soul for that, and I really appreciate her for that. Um, yes, please, thank you. Uh.

Speaker 7:

So earlier, when you had asked, like, um, what does that say about god and adultery? I was thinking of the verse. It just couldn't come to my mind. But it is also in second timothy, 2, uh, 13, right, and it says if we are faithless, he remains faithful because he cannot deny himself. And, um, I think that perfectly explains why. Um, to the question that you asked earlier.

Speaker 7:

And then elian, quiet baby, and so I also wanted to read, because I stumbled on this passage, speaking hold on, yes. Uh. Titus 2, 11, right, and it's going to say for the grace of god that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us to deny ungodliness. Hold on, teaching us to deny ungodliness. The world worldly lusts. We should live soberly, righteously and godly in this present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearance of our great god and savior, jesus christ, who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify himself. His own special people, zealous for good works, speak these things, exhort and rebuke with all authority, and let no one despise you. Just a word of encouragement that the grace of God is going to teach us these things and what separates us. So sorry, I'm so low six, so I'm so happy to be here and thank you guys so much for allowing me to share this word with even the screaming little toddlers in the back.

Speaker 2:

That's right, we love the kids. We love the kids. They're going to be sound like they're going to be little preachers later on, you know. So that was thank you for that. Sister Appreciate that, as always, brother Jeffrey, encouraging servant. Last word.

Speaker 9:

Jonathan, I want to just take a moment to say thank you for being back on here tonight. We did miss you. We're glad you're back. We love you, brother, and you're blessing our hearts again with your wisdom that you so lovingly share. We appreciate it. I just want to take a moment to encourage anyone who's in the panel tonight or who's been listening, who's been listening.

Speaker 9:

As Jonathan pointed out tonight, if you are dealing with a sin that you've got hidden away in your life, get it out and deal with it, because sooner or later the closet if you want to call it that that you've got that sin in, isn't going to be big enough to hold it.

Speaker 9:

It will come out sooner or later. And what I'm saying is don't be ashamed of it, Don't be afraid of it. Get it out and confess it and then that way the fruit in your life can begin to grow, as Jonathan talked about earlier tonight in Galatians 5. Because when you're in that unhealthy relationship, the fruit will not grow. In fact it will die quickly. But when you get out of that and you get renewed in Christ and you can replant new seed, you can soon start producing good fruit again. And if you're not producing it, let's get the ground worked, get your life where you want it to be and start producing fruit. Okay, all right, folks, as Jonathan would say, at the end, I'm going to do the same thing Go out there tomorrow, encourage somebody and be a servant.

Speaker 2:

Good night, Brother Michael, last word.

Speaker 4:

I would just say I think this is a time for self-examination, meditation, prayer and fasting to really just let these verses sink in deeply, that's it.

Speaker 2:

Amen, brother and brother, you got a great voice, man, you need to be doing these things too. So you know what? If I had it my way, everybody on here would have their own lives. We'd all be on the same at the same time, just taking over the airways everywhere we can. But I appreciate all of you, Brother.

Speaker 1:

Kanan, you got the last of the last words. I want to say I'm grateful for you, brother Jonathan, and sisters and brothers of the chat and the panel, really grateful for all the different perspectives and insights that the Lord uses you to speak into these studies. And I wanted to end with Psalms 25, 4 to 9. Make me know your path, your ways, lord. Teach me your paths, lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation. For you I wait all the day. Remember, lord, your compassion and your faithfulness, for they have been of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth or my wrongdoings. Remember me according to your faithfulness, for your goodness' sake, lord. The Lord is good and upright. Therefore, he instructs sinners in the way, he leads the humble in justice and he teaches the humble his way.

Speaker 2:

Amen, brother, the thing that I'll say last. Thank you for that, brother Kanan. I want to say this because normally I kind of go right to my you know, closing it up. Everybody here, we know about this guy, charlie Kirk, and let me say this I did a post on this earlier today and what I do and all I care about is the word of God, his people, service to our Lord, spreading the gospel to the lost, and I know that this whole thing is somehow touching every one of us and for a lot of reasons, it has a way of adding a heightened degree of polarization amongst folks, and I think it's terrible what is happening and the issues that people are talking about.

Speaker 2:

But the reality is this Regardless of what side you are On this I'm talking to the brethren now Regardless of what side you are on On this whole thing, we should be focused, as believers, on where people stand In terms of their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ we should be talking about. We have been translated into a different realm. The world is not where we live. It is not.

Speaker 2:

We really live in a different realm. Go read Romans chapter six. You may be here in the flesh, but you don't belong to this world. There are laws, there are rules, there are governance. We do what we can to honor man, but here's the reality is, we belong to the Lord, jesus Christ and to his kingdom, and we are not advocates of somebody in the world being cut down. And we are not celebrating when somebody in the world is cut down, nor are we championing anybody who was cut down for unholy things that they may have adhered to or or talked about.

Speaker 2:

That's not the issue. We want to see souls saved. We're told in proverbs 11, 30, he that wins souls is wise. We seek the wisdom of god in these things and and when somebody, when something happens as tragic, tragic as this, I've heard people say, oh, I'm not going to be doing prayers and whatever. The guy was not my cup of tea, but he was a man with a wife and children and no matter what we think about these folks, we seek the salvation of people and we need to continue to be lights in this world and not to become part of all this other stuff. We're supposed to stand above all that kind of stuff and try to relate to people and use whatever is happening in this world To be an opportunity that we can seize, like my brother Cain says, to preach the Lord Jesus Christ. And if this passing of this young guy, if the passing of him, opens up an opportunity for you to share with somebody who you ordinarily oppose, or vice versa, turn it into an opportunity to glorify the Lord and Savior, jesus Christ, don't get into the politics of this world. Serve him. He is our king, he's our Lord, he's our Savior, and we want people to know and to embrace what we have.

Speaker 2:

That's all I want to say about that. Whatever side you're on, don't let it matter. We look up and we want all other people To look up. The answer to these things Is not going to be oh, now I'm going to go buy guns, and we want all other people to look up. The answer to these things is not going to be oh, now I'm going to go buy guns, or now I'm going to go do this, now I'm going to go do this and I'm going to go after and attack the libs, or I'm going to go after and attack the repulsor. All that stuff is silliness. Silliness.

Speaker 2:

When Mariah read in Titus 2.13,. We are supposed to look forward to the appearing of our Lord, jesus Christ, because one day he's going to crack the sky open. That angel is going to sound and the dead in Christ are going to rise first and we will be taken up into the air to meet the Lord, where we will be with him forever more. That is what we should be looking forward to, not focusing and dilly-dallying on the politics of an ungodly worldly system. This worldly system, no matter what side you are on, the politics, all of it is anti-Christian, all of it, all of it, all of it. Revelation calls the world the sea, and the beast that comes out of the sea is the anti-Christ and his spirit is everywhere pervasive right now. Don't get caught up in that world. I know it's longer than I wanted to take, but I wanted to say that. I wanted to say that Don't get caught up to all these polarizing things. Focus on the Lord and worship and serve him.

Speaker 5:

Take all or not. Jonathan, Take all or not, bro.

Speaker 2:

No, I'm going to stop. That's it right there. I don't want to drag people out. I want them to have a good expectation of when it's going to be over. But everybody, be provoked, be persuaded.

Speaker 5:

Be persuaded yes. That's my new hashtag y'all, I am provoked and persuaded.

Speaker 2:
