LIVE DISCUSSION: The MARKS of Grace (Part 4 of 4)
Grace sounds different when a room full of friends lives it out loud. We close our journey through Galatians with a tender, unguarded conversation about leadership, correction, and the kind of community that refuses to let anyone stand alone. You’ll hear apologies offered without defensiveness, Scripture read with fresh weight, and personal stories that expose pride—whether dressed in religion or wrapped in worldly success—and replace it with joy in Christ.
We dig into Paul’s example at the end of Galatians: strong words carried by a soft heart. What does it mean to correct without enjoying it? How do we resist the impulse to play “Christian police” while still loving enough to tell hard truth? Our group holds those tensions with care, insisting that the gospel excludes boasting and that true grace never becomes a license to drift. Galatians begins and ends with grace; our conversation shows how that doctrine becomes culture—brothers and sisters who pick up the phone, share tears, and speak peace.
Along the way, members read Hebrews 13, Galatians 2:16, and Philippians 3, grounding our takeaways in the text: justification by faith alone, the danger of legalism, and the futility of confidence in the flesh. Then we look ahead. We announce our next study—Job—and explain how we’ll approach it with steady interludes to keep the pace alive. After a letter that dismantles merit, we’re stepping into a story that refuses tidy answers and invites trust when the night is long.
If you’re longing for a church family that holds fast to the gospel and holds each other up, press play. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs courage, and leave a review with the one line from Galatians you can’t shake right now. We want to hear your voice.
This channel does a deep dive into the scriptures so as to teach what it means to be...

BE PROVOKED AND BE PERSUADED!
I humbly ask for that because that is something that I struggle with because I feel I feel guilty because I don't.
SPEAKER_07:Yep.
SPEAKER_08:But I think it goes both ways.
SPEAKER_07:But Brother Jeff, man of God. Go ahead, brother.
SPEAKER_04:I'm here. Um what I wanted to say to you, Dr. Eubanks, is that you're my favorite professor. Uh and right now, and I would have to say my my my my favorite before I met you was not my pastor necessarily. I mean, he's a he's a great guy, even if he is a dispensationalist. But uh with Chad Byrd on 1517, I really I really love the man because I like what he says. But you're my favorite professor. I tell you what, I would, you know, I would take courses under you. I would, and you know what I'm talking about. But uh the thing is, I love you, man. Fortunately, I'm blessed in the sense of all my natural family, my blood family are all believers. Uh, you know, but the thing is, I include them in my current family. I love you guys. Uh, you know, I don't know if you love me, but that's okay. I know Jonathan does, and Lisa does. I think Meg does. Yeah, maybe Joni does. Uh, I don't know. Jeffrey does. I don't know about Candy, though. But uh I'm just joking, I'm just joking around, y'all. Go ahead, Candy.
SPEAKER_08:You my brother from another mother, because you know we all got the same daddy.
SPEAKER_04:I know that's right. I know that's right. So uh, you know, it's it is something we share. And uh, you know, we we should encourage each other and lift each other up. And uh, you know, when we're hurting like this, I was hurting for you, brother. I mean, I just, you know, I left a by I left a Bible study this week that kind of kind of troubled me because is a is a guy that I really like teaching it, but like he is so anti-reform thinking that I can't even comment in on the Bible because I finally told him, I said, I gotta leave because I said you got people here that don't know the Bible very well, and all I'm doing is confusing them and disrupting your discussion. Right. So, you know, we'll just have to disagree to disagree, but I still love him. And he told me, and I told him, he's my brother in Christ. Right. But uh, you know, and it happens that we we somehow sometimes have things like that. But anyway, I didn't mean to dominate the conversation, but you know I love you, man. And uh let me tell you, you got you got you got the chops. You got the chops to do what you're doing, and you do it real well. And you know, I I would I would sit here and talk to anybody about it. If anybody talked to me about you, I'd say, look, you know, unless you got something good to say, don't say nothing, because this is my brother. Oh man, I appreciate that, brother Jeff. I really do.
SPEAKER_08:Hey, I just want to say, and and like he said, man, we felt it. It's that bond we have in that spirit, that spirit that's in all of us. It is like-minded and of one accord. And when you feel it, brother, and you speak about it, we all feel it, especially if that's bonded. So you're not alone. Anybody else, man? None of us should be alone. None of us should ever feel alone. Number one, we got God in us, He's never gonna leave us, never forsake us. But it's our brothers and sisters in Christ, no matter who we are, where you are. All we gotta do is pick up the phone and call if necessary. Yep, whatever it may be, man, whatever the need may be felt, just do it. Don't don't hesitate, act.
SPEAKER_07:Amen, sister. Appreciate that. Sister May, go ahead.
SPEAKER_09:Why is it that every time you shed a tear, I do?
SPEAKER_07:Because you're a baby, just like me.
SPEAKER_08:I am. Then we're all babies because I'm over here teared up too. Stop it, buddy.
SPEAKER_09:No, but it's because like you like I love Jonathan, you're my brother for real. Like, if if if if anybody ever needed anything, I would be there. If if something ever happened, I'll take care of you, Jonathan. Like, I'm for real. We have so many good conversations, and I just that's everybody though.
SPEAKER_07:Well, look, listen, Meg, I'm let me tell you something. Because, you know, hope you don't mind me saying this, but me and Meg had a conversation last night. The details don't really matter. But what I want to say is this is that Meg, I want to tell you that in front of everybody here, that if I crushed you in any way and what and how I said what I said, I want to tell you, sister, please forgive me.
SPEAKER_09:No, you didn't. You won't ever crush me. I I one thing I learned from people, and when I was in management and operations, I used to tell my employee this when somebody shows you their heart and you get to see it, you can take anything from them because you know their heart, and I know yours, and I can take anything from you because I know that you love me and I love you too, and it's it's so the truth, and like if you guys even knew, if y'all even knew like just a piece of Jonathan's heart, like you would really, really get what he's doing here. It's just a just a smidget of it, but I'm telling y'all, we are we are all so blessed to be around each other because this is what this is what he does. It's his life. This is what he every single day he wakes up, gets his coffee, and I usually talk to him in the middle of him studying something, and I ask him what he's studying for the day. He does this is his life, and we get to be around each other to learn about the Lord Jesus Christ and what he's saying, and so it's it's it's so much deeper than all of this. Like I think that we're we're all together, but it's but it's so much more than what we even think. The plans that God has for each and every one of us together in this group, he made us for such a time as this, and it's not for any reason, yeah, and I believe that wholeheartedly. And I love you, Jonathan, and there's there's nothing that you will ever, ever say or or do ever. It it and you don't ever have to apologize because I know I know that you care, and you we we are brothers and sisters, seriously.
SPEAKER_07:No, I know that, I know that.
SPEAKER_09:My wife told me I might have been a little hard on you, but um I I just I get passionate about what I believe, you know, and I'll go anywhere and say what it is. And if somebody wants to disagree, oh well, I you're right. We cannot change the minds of these people. Yep, and sometimes no matter how much truth is told in a room, it does not matter. Yeah, because there's a reason they can't see, and I have to pray about that.
SPEAKER_07:That's true. So as we wind up here in Galatians chapter 6, verse 18, the last verse, you know, Paul says, Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, amen. And he says here, he calls them brethren. And what he and what he does as his great apostle is something that every true leader in the faith needs to be observant of. You know, if you're gonna have any influence over people, I'm not going to uh shy away from the fact that I have that influence. And there are other people, all of us have influence over others. And my brother Brian, because I know where you're going. I know where you're going. And so it's important for a a person of leadership to have a soft heart, to have a soft heart, a gentle heart, a heart that exhibits meekness. And Paul had that. And when he calls them brethren here again, in verse 18, he opens with that in verse 2 by calling them brethren. And so he he's he's he's saying to them that I acknowledge still, even after all that I've expressed to you, I've I've conveyed to you very stern words. I've had to express to you tough things. I had to speak to you in a way that I wish I didn't have to. But I had to. Because it's also in the heart of this great apostle to do so. And everybody who would leave, anyone, needs to understand that this is the kind of heart you need to have. You need to be able to give stern reproof. But as Paul also taught us in this in this very book, in verse chapter five, that we also need to before we are in verse six, and I mean earlier in chapter six, verse in chapter six, earlier in this chapter, he talks about how when someone is overtaken in a fault, and then he goes on not to emphasize the person who was overtaken in a fault, but his subject matter is uh dealing with the person who is supposed to bring uh instruction and correction and reproof. And he's going about it by saying you need to make sure your heart is right first before you go and bring correction and reproof to anyone. And he says, because reproof is can be severe. It can be severe. And if your heart is not right, even when you are having and required to be severe, if your heart is not right, you might take some kind of pleasure, some kind of twisted pleasure in it. But it should hurt you to have to be stern, to have to be severe, to have to extend reproof. There are some Christians who believe they need to make up a Christian police task, a task force, to go and correct everybody. But a true believer, a true believer will do everything possible to avoid having to give reproof. But a man who is a true believer, a true spirit-led believer, man or woman, knows what they have to do, even if it is painful to do. But that's why he talked about and emphasized a gentle spirit, a gentle heart, meekness, meekness. This whole epistle that we went through and we finally finished. It begins as it started, with grace. It ends as it started, it begins as it ends. With grace. And we are taught by this great apostle, our brother Paul, our real brother Paul, who we will meet. And hopefully we get to meet him, and he will tell me, brother, you got one of these things wrong. Let me help you out with this. To be able to be in a position to hear him correct me would be an amazing thing. But notice what he says. Taught me that we are to be an affectionate people to one another, especially. His final word by acknowledging his brethren, us as his brethren, is one of affection and it is one of blessing. The whole epistle begins with grace and it ends with grace, and we are to oppose any aspect or anything in the that we think leads us to merit, and we are to magnify the sufficiency of Christ and him alone. It is plain and as simple as that. Magnify the Lord above all things, and put nothing above what he has done, and add nothing to what he has done. And if you truly know him and love him and are loved by him, you will also know this, that his grace and his goodness leads to a life of faithful, faithfulness to him and obedient to obedience to his will. It does not lead to an antinomian spirit which shrugs off all law and goes into this what they call hyper-grace mentality where you just believe you can just do whatever you want. A true servant of the Lord is just that. A servant of Christ and Him alone. Him alone. And with that, we conclude this book of Galatians. This book of Galatians. And what I want to do right now is I want to go around and give everybody their last word for tonight. And and after we everyone gives their last word, I'm gonna talk about not talk about, but I'm gonna just tell you, everyone, what my what the next book is going to be that I'm gonna start with. And then we'll close with prayer. And Brother Jeffrey, uh, encourage your servant. If you would do the honors, I would like for you to close us in prayer if you would. So last word. Everybody knows the drill. No sermons. So let me start with uh Sister Candy. Your last word for tonight.
SPEAKER_08:I don't have a sermon, but I'm gonna get read out of Hebrews 13.
SPEAKER_07:Go ahead.
SPEAKER_08:Well, I'm just gonna read, okay? I'm not gonna talk about it. I think it's already been said, so I'm just supporting it.
SPEAKER_03:All right, go ahead.
SPEAKER_08:Let brother chapter 13, verse 1, let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing, some have unwittingly entertained angels. I'm gonna skip down to verse 5. Let your conduct be without covetousness, be content with such things as you have. For he himself has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. So we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, I will not fear what man can do to me. I'm gonna jump down to 14. 14 says, For here we have no continuing city, but we seek one to come. Therefore, by him, let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God that is the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to his name. But do not forget to do good and to share. For with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Obey those who rule over you and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls. As those who must give account, let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. So pray for us, for we are confident that we have a good conscience in all things desiring to live honorably. But I especially urge you to do this, that I may be restored to you sooner. And that, my brother, whatever you were feeling in the beginning, I hope at the end of this night, when all said and done, your feelings of that have been overcame through the Lord Jesus Christ, and you are now joyful about that conversation being a success in him. I love y'all. Great, great, great, great, great grouping gathering tonight. I love everyone here.
SPEAKER_07:Yep.
SPEAKER_08:Glory to God.
SPEAKER_07:Amen, sister. Appreciate that, Candy. As always.
SPEAKER_08:Group hug in the air, everybody.
SPEAKER_07:Don't even think about it. Sister Joni, go ahead. Your last word.
SPEAKER_00:Um, I'm gonna let my husband have the last word.
SPEAKER_07:All right, that sounds good. Sister um, sister Meg, go ahead.
SPEAKER_11:We have literally finished one book of the Word of God together, and that's such an achievement for all of us. And I think that each and every one of us has shed tears, we've all grown, and I'm just so grateful to do it with all of you. But I want to end with the heartbeat of Galatians, and this is what we remember Galatians chapter two, verse 16. Nevertheless, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but through faith in Christ Jesus, even when we had believed in Christ Jesus, so that way me that we may be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, since by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. And that's the heartbeat of Galatians, and we just finished it. And then the heartbeat of what else? What?
SPEAKER_07:Of Galatians and what else?
SPEAKER_11:The gospel.
SPEAKER_07:There you go. There you go, sister. It's a heartbeat of Galatians, and it's the heartbeat of the gospel. Justification by faith and faith alone, apart from any works of any law, period. Thank you for that, sister. Appreciate that. Brother Brian, last word.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, I just want to share this. A lot of people, you know, don't know what people might be going through when they when they come on lives and stuff. Yeah. But how do you think a person feels like when as far as their remember you were talking about family?
SPEAKER_07:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:It's like my family, they loved me as long as I was using drugs, selling drugs, going and out of penitentiary. But now that I got saved, I don't get no calls. Nobody come over. Nobody fooled me because the life that I'm living, that ain't the life that they want to live. So my most of my days be me and my house, me and my wife in the house, and I just got my Bible and I go on TikTok.
SPEAKER_07:What city you live what state and city you live in?
SPEAKER_01:I'm right outside Youngstown, Ohio.
SPEAKER_07:Alright, we're gonna get together, brother. We're gonna get together in person.
SPEAKER_01:Amen. Amen. But I did uh as as you know, and a lot of us on here know, uh, Peter wasn't our apostle. Right, Paul was. Yep. And and and as you were speaking, it uh this is what I heard. I'm gonna do a little bit of reading. If anybody wanna follow along with me, uh this is what I heard you say. It's in Philippians the third chapter. Okay, it says, Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord to write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe. Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of concision, for we are the circumcision which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. For though I might have confidence in the flesh, if any other man think that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, either more. Circumcision the eighth day, stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, Hebrew of the Hebrew, as touching the law Pharisees, concerning the zeal, persecuting the church, touching the righteousness, which is of the law blameless. But here we go. But what things were gained to me, those I counted lost for Christ. Yea, doubtless, and I count all things but lost for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I might win Christ, and be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith, that I might know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his suffering, being made conformable unto his death, if by any means I may attain to the resurrection of the dead, not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect, but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended, but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Amen.
SPEAKER_07:Amen, brother. I love this passage that he just read, that brother uh Brian just read. And and and you know, so so often, you know, it's not like we haven't read these things, most of us, at least if you haven't, you know, don't let me know you haven't read it because we're gonna have to have a conversation. But sometimes when you when you read certain things in the scriptures in a certain gif a certain context, a certain time by certain people at the same with the with it just hits a different way. Because when when the when the body is taking things that that we've been talking about and they extract from the word of God applications from the word of God to the conversation, it just makes it that much more beautiful. So brother, I thank you for that, man. It it it's it's so good because when you see because when people read these things at the end, it it indicates and it shows you they got it. That they got it. You know, and it and it shows it just makes you feel so good when you hear it. And it's just it's just a blessing. And it's just especially when they show you something that you weren't even thinking about. I mean, so many times people will show me verses after a study, and they'll bring up verses at the end or even in the middle, like Candy does quite often, and I'll go like, you know what? I I I never saw that. I never had, I never thought of that in this context of this discussion. So thank you for that, brother. I appreciate that. Uh, brother Caz, I gotta, I gotta get you, brother. I you I haven't, I don't even know if I even heard your voice. Maybe once, maybe, or maybe not, but I'm ready to hear it tonight.
SPEAKER_06:Hey, brother, thanks a lot. This is actually, I was on live for the first time a couple years ago and I got banned for two weeks. So uh I've never been on live. Uh, but I just wanted to jump up tonight, had to jump up tonight. There's been a lot of great things tonight. And first of all, I want to say thank you for all the brothers and sisters on this live. Um, I've been coming around for a little bit, and uh I really appreciate all of these people on here. And I also wanted to thank you because uh man, tonight um it was beautiful, and this is where I'm in my life right now. You know, I was in technology and the business of all building all these tech companies and what's going on. And six years ago, and I've been raised a Christian, my mom took me to church four or five, went to Pentecostal Baptist, all those churches. Uh, but six years ago, man, he opened my eyes, he brought me to my knees, and he had me flying over like this city I lived in, and he showed me about the flesh, took me to Genesis 3, and about how deep that flesh goes in pride. And man, this has been my walk for six years. I've been kind of hiding out, you know, hiding out in my own little place, just worshiping God. And I got away from all that stuff. And I'm like, Lord, what do you want to use me for? What do you want to do me for? Uh, what do you want me to do for your word and and for your people? And where do you want me to go, Lord? And I've just been waiting for six years. Like, what do you want from me? Because I know this flesh for me, it's pride. Pride goes so deep in everybody's life, man. It goes so deep. It's pride, it's pride. Everything is pride, boasting. And just like Brian was saying, you know, uh I wasn't locked up, I wasn't in the hole, I wasn't a gangbanger, but I was in technology, and this technology is evil and it's prideful and it's boastful, and it's run by all this money. And I'm not knocking people are in it. I'm just saying that I ran with a lot of big boys in this business, and God was telling me, Joe, uh, my excuse, my real name is Joe, but he's like, hey, man, you can't choose both. You can't have both, Joe. You got to be bold in this situation. So I just wanted to come up tonight just to tell you that, man, you were speaking truth to me, man. It was beautiful. Um, it's hard because I go around and like people don't understand. I'm like, it's flesh, it's flesh, and I tell them all it's flesh. And they're like, man, everything's flesh to you. I'm like, no, man, you can't, we that's not right. It's not right, you know, and so uh I just want to tell everybody up here, but mainly you. Um, I appreciate your truth. Um, I appreciate your platform and uh I appreciate everybody speaking, but man, it just I had to come up tonight and say, man, I I I believe and I understand. And it's tough. It's tough, man, because you have this life where I travel, I had all this stuff, and now I'm like this little guy waiting on the Lord because it means nothing. It means nothing to me. And uh so I just want to get up here and say it. I appreciate you guys. And and I come here a lot because this is my church. In fact, going through Galatians, I was sitting on that whole scripture and I talked to a friend of mine who's a pastor, and I talked to him three to four days a week, and I was creep, I was preaching Galatians to him. I was like, no, no, no, no, let's go back to the gospel, let's go back to the gospel. We gotta go back to the gospel because this guy's in your church, he's saying this, he's saying it of flesh because he wants to boast, but let's go back to the gospel. It means nothing. It's just I appreciate you guys, I love you guys, and I'm fed here a lot. Um, I'm fed here a lot, man. And so this is my first time coming up speaking to you guys. Um, but I I appreciate your time and I don't want to keep preaching on anything, but man, God's has big plans I know in all our lives. He's been working on me, and I've been waiting patiently, and I want to I want to be bold and I want him to send me and I want to go. Um, and I want to go, you know, and I just but I don't want to I don't want to speak out of turn. I don't want to do the things I don't want to because I know how to do it. I've had a lot of employees, I ran big companies, and and I know my voice it could carry, and I want to be silent, I want to hear the word of God, I want to speak the truth. So um I just want to say thank you, man, and and praise all-tar Father, you know. So I appreciate it. Well, Brother Jones.
SPEAKER_03:I'm so glad you came up here.
SPEAKER_07:Let me let me let me say something to Brother Coss for a second. Um, and because see, I'm gonna say something. This brother, this is my first time hearing his voice. He knows that, and he just confirmed that. And whenever I go live, almost every time, he's there. He's there. He's in he's in the in the in the chat, and it's like having a bulwark around me. Having people like him and some of the other people that come around there. But he's always there. I always see him come up there. I always see him, I don't pressure him, I don't call him, I don't say, hey, come up, I don't do any of that. Because I figure people will come when they when they want to. But what I what I am saying is this there is a there is a feeling of safety. insecurity that I feel when I see him there. Like so many of you. Because he doesn't realize as many of you don't realize what it means to me. It's not about me, but it's all of us. Because it it allows me to feel freer at expressing what I want to express and and how I want to engage all of you. And so for him to come up to me it you know is just an honor. And I want you to know that Brother Joe. It is it is um it it's an honor. And um and it's also an honor for all of you to come up and and and because it it says that we are sympatical in some degree. Again, we we will disagree on certain things at certain times. But generally speaking being like minded doesn't mean not having a disagreement from time to time. It doesn't mean that but anyone knows and I hope you know if you come up here I have no problem that you disagree with me as long as you're prepared to back it up. That's all because we have a we have a commitment to not to me or each other well we do to each other to each other but more importantly to our Lord to handle his truth with the care that it deserves because when we do so it glorifies him it glorifies him Sister Lisa go ahead brother Jeff already left I just want to thank everybody again um this book was really really super good um I'm realizing now in all practicality it's basically what we deal with a lot today.
SPEAKER_00:So much of that coming back people wanting to put themselves back under the yoke of the law and they want to you know um cause other people to do the same. So this was really good. I'm so looking forward to getting into the next one um it's always a blessing um just like brother Koss said this is my church you know I look forward to this and I'm really um sad when it's when you don't have it and I I realize you do have a life so I will touch you a little bit of slapper. Brother Jonathan but just you know um the sheep need to get fed so just keep that in mind when you're when you're laying back watching TV or something just think about your starving sheep but thank you so much again thanks everybody and I love you all so much we have no idea thank you all right uh before Jeff closes out uh and um I I'll say this up front the next book in case you guys want to get a head start I'm gonna go to the book of Job so um uh that's gonna be well I mean I'm biased I love the whole word of God so I'm hoping that it will be a blessing to your soul going through the book of Job and but we're gonna go we're gonna go through it and hopefully you will I will be able to help you or guide you into discovering new things in this book that perhaps you didn't.
SPEAKER_07:So I'm looking forward to it. But Job is going to be the next book and as usual I will intersect in between because like Brian said that's a long book. So what I'm gonna what I will be doing is is in between to break up sort of the monotony or the routine of going through one book in that mindset I will always break it up after every two or three um sessions to introduce something new um um in other aspects of the Bible so to keep it kind of so so we keep everything fresh and and good but so we'll get through it but the book of Job if you want to get ahead that's what we're gonna start with next.
SPEAKER_10:Hey Jonathan can I do a study on Job's friends on his on his friends when?
SPEAKER_05:When we do the book of Job well you're gonna be able to do that we're gonna be going through the book of Job so you'll be able to involve yourself however you want to yeah the his friends with their names and what they mean oh my goodness well we'll we'll talk about that and maybe we'll just incorporate that into and we'll have uh we'll carve out a certain a certain um uh a segment for that so let's talk about it all right we'll we'll talk about it so I'm open to that for sure what the answer is yes so you give me what you we'll talk about what you want how you want to do it and then we'll we'll we'll work it in brother Jeff encouraging serving go ahead Jonathan I want to take a moment to thank everybody on the panel tonight because it was their encouragement their conviction that gave you the impetus to share what you were originally unwilling to share and because of that you opened up tonight and spoke deeper from your heart than at any time that I've ever heard you speak. Now there's others who've been here with you longer than I of course but you opened up tonight and you spoke and I had a thought in the back of my mind what was going on but that is irrelevant. What is relevant is the fact that you were able to speak from your heart and we all got to see and hear uh a beautiful relationship become even stronger and more beautiful and more wonderful than it already is. So uh for that thank you to yourself and to everyone who was involved okay uh we we are better because of it we are stronger because of it and we just thank you so much for uh what you've done so let's close this out in prayer tonight Heavenly Father we just thank you for our completion tonight of what we have learned in the book of Galatians we thank you that Paul admonished this church over and over again to not get away from the simple fact that they are saved by grace alone they are to teach grace alone they are to proclaim and live grace alone salvation plus nothing equals eternal life so Lord help all of us to not be like that church to not get sidetracked or attach something to your perfect gift that's not meant to be there that's not part of what makes our eternal life what it is father when we add something to it we nullify it. So Lord we just thank you that your grace alone in its purest form is what we need and is what we have received through this entire study. And now as we prepare to go into the book of Job open our hearts to his struggles to the patience that he learned to the interaction that you had with the enemy himself and you dealt effectively with him you gave the enemy just enough rope to hang himself and we're gonna learn more about that.
SPEAKER_03:So Father we are excited we are uh gonna be uh learning Lord more about who you are how you work how you desire to work in our lives so we give you all the praise all the glory tonight thank you for what you're doing in our individual lives and our lives as a family because that's who we are so we just thank you tonight for your presence here and one last thing as I close I am not worthy to speak for my wife even though she said she would she knows more than I ever will so thank you for her I love her Lord we love you we give you all the praise and glory tonight in Jesus' name amen thank you brother Mariah did I leave you did I forget you Mariah no I just slipped in at the end all right you want to you want to say something before we finish no I I'm just so thrilled if I wasn't even half a sound in the word or understood what it meant to the true gospel this has a ignited a fire within me to not let anyone swindle around the gospel and add not even a a pinch of salt to it. So I just thank you for this it was so wonderful I love you guys all it was such a pleasure to walk through this work with you and I look forward to walking through many more God bless everybody thank you thank you Mariah thank you Jeff for the closing that prayer and everybody for your contribution as usual and for the kind words cause it was amazing to have you up here brother I'm so glad you came up here for the first time and I hope you'll come back and uh Jonathan the box above me did they I don't remember hearing no you don't remember hearing she passed it on to to brother Jeff that's her whole okay okay okay okay okay my bad I was like wait a minute who's in the box above me all right you guys take it easy god bless you for both and be persuaded
