Not one drop of Christ’s blood is wasted and if you really believe that, it changes how you breathe. We lean into a doctrine many Christians crave but rarely hear stated without apology: assurance of salvation is not a personality trait, it’s the logical outcome of an effectual Savior who actually saves his people and keeps them.

We talk about why certainty matters, what it would mean if Christ’s blood were shed for someone who ends up in hell, and why fear-filled Christianity quietly trains us to doubt God’s power. Then we pivot to urgency: hell, repentance, and the uncomfortable love of warning people who are drifting toward judgment. We challenge the “don’t talk about religion” rule and push back on the idea that proclaiming the gospel belongs only to pastors or men. If we’re Christians, we open our mouths.

Along the way we walk through Job, Satan’s wager, and God’s protective hedge, then test the question head-on: can a true believer curse God? We bring Scripture into it, including 1 John 5:13, Romans 10:17, and Hebrews 1:3, and we frame salvation as an irrevocable gift that cannot be returned, revoked, or overwritten. If this conversation sharpened you, subscribe, share it with a friend, leave a review, and tell us what gives you the strongest assurance of eternal security?

Christ’s Blood Never Saves In Vain

SPEAKER_10

For salvation. He came here to actually, effectually save, and that's what he has done, and that's what he continues to do. And we will know that that mission of his is over when he returns. My sister Barbara, I love your sister. She says, Not one drop of Christ's blood will be in vain. And she's right. Let me tell you what this means. Not one drop of Christ's blood will be spilled, was spilled in vain. What this means is this. No one. Not one single soul in hell. Not one single soul in hell whose sins were washed by the blood of Christ. They were not his people. They were not his elect. And his blood did not wash away their sins. His blood washed away your sins. His blood washed away my sins. And his blood washing activity is the result of his own personal effort as ordained and agreed to between him and his father. And there was no consultation made on the part of those of whom were recipients of that salvific blood that was shed for the sins of sinful men. And if there's anyone in hell that Christ's blood was shed for, then none of us can have any certainty that we are saved today. And yet, the scriptures is replete reproofs telling us to be certain that our salvation is sure and is sure as the breath that we breathe. I have no doubts, zero doubts. I know for a fact that I am the Lord and He is mine. No one can tell me different. I don't care what you think about how I talk, how loud I speak, how low I speak, how mean I am, all this stuff. We live in a day where people need to hear this truth, and there's no more room for Christians soft pedaling the truth. Because the more you soft pedal the truth, at the end of the day, you will end up being where we are right now, which is where we confuse people into understanding that there is no intensity and there's no value in what we believe. We need to tell sinners they are going to perish in everlasting burnings. That's what we need to tell them so that they can flee to Christ. Flee, run, repent, fall down into the dust and beg for mercy. Beg for mercy with every fiber of your being. You need to understand this, Christians. Christians, you need to understand this and believe it. Because when you do, it makes you understand how serious this is for those in your family and your friends and people around you who are going to die. And I'm not going to blame you, and no one's going to blame you for their death, but here's the thing: if you made no effort, then there's some part of your involvement in the fact that your reluctance has made it even more certain. This goes for me. It goes for us all. And I'm going to tell you something. Arguing over who's right and who's wrong. No. This is about speaking to lost souls and warning them. Like in Noah's in Noah's day of the wrath to come. And then in Joe, and then in John the Baptist's day, warning them. Repent. Repent. Turn from your sin. Escape this wrath that is coming from God Almighty. Escape from the wrath to come. What is it? Hell, an eternity of fire and condemnation. And there are many people who think I'm going to sound crazy for saying these things. What do you talk about? Hell that's morbid. That's that's that's terrible. That's unfair. A good God, a righteous God, and a holy God would never do that. If he didn't do it, he would not be a just God. He would not be just. And my God is just. And I know that the hell that so many people are going to literally get, I know I deserve that same hell. But for whatever reason that I don't know, the Lord has set his affections on me before this earth was created. And he has assured in his decree that the time will come when his gospel will reach me at a certain time and I would believe it and come to faith in him and repentance. And the same for every single Christian. Christians, I'm telling you, don't act like this is gonna go on forever. And don't act like your Christian, your Christianity is a private matter. I was, I have my Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. Where is that in the Bible? Nowhere in the Bible do you see personal Lord and Savior. And Christians are going to, well, that's not, I'm not, I'm not a mouth. I'm not supposed to speak. It's not my role to proclaim the gospel. Let me tell you something. It is every single Christian's responsibility to proclaim the gospel. I had a woman tell me today, it is not the responsibility of anybody but men to proclaim the gospel. No, proclaiming the gospel is the job of every single Christian alive at every given time in these epics of time that we have on this earth. And proclaiming the gospel until the Christ comes is simply preaching or proclaim or proclaiming the gospel. We're not talking about being pastors and evangelists and all other kinds. We're talking about the preaching of the gospel is a responsibility of every single Christian. Never tire of it. Always delight in it. Never deflate its significance or its importance. There are so many believers who feel like, no, that's not my job to do. It is your job to do it. It is your job to do it. Well, my job is to bake cookies. My job, my ministry is cookie baking. My job. My ministry is the volleyball ministry at church. My ministry is the baseball ministry. My ministry is organizing the church conference. That's not ministry. I'm sorry, it's not. It's not. I know a lot of people want to think it is. It's not. And so many people want to reinvent things or to invent things so that they can find an excuse from doing the hard things. I'm sorry, everybody. I'm in one of those moods tonight.

SPEAKER_06

Ever say sorry, brother. Keep going.

Proclaiming The Gospel Is Everyone’s Duty

SPEAKER_10

You know, I'm telling you, you know, we need to understand what's at stake here. We need to understand what's at stake. Every one of you, you need to open your mouth. Speak up. Don't be afraid. Don't fall for this. I can't talk about politics and religion. Nonsense. We can do us Christians. We can do whatever we want. We are kept, according to First Peter. We are kept by the power of God. And nothing can overthrow that. We are like my Charles Spurgeon, my brother in the Lord from 1800s. My brother, who I can't wait to see in glory one day. He said, We are invincible. Nothing can touch us. Until the Lord is ready to come home. Nothing can touch us. Share the gospel. Every single chance you get. Let no one be comfortable around you if they don't know Christ. Don't let anyone, don't afford anyone comfort. You might think, well, I can't talk to this person because if I talk to them, I'm gonna lose this potential opportunity. Or I might lose this friendship, or I might lose this future thing that they may be able to provide for me or do for me. They do what they do for us. The wicked, they are here, still alive, doing what they do for you. Millionaires, billionaires, the wicked, all these people who reject Christ, they are serving the Lord without even knowing it. And all they are doing, in one way or another, in ways that we may not always understand or see, but they are doing it for us. Here we are in the book of Job. We know what happened at the divine tribunal in the courthouse of divinity. The sons of God presented themselves before God. Satan came in among them. He wasn't a son, he came in among them. And God said, Have you tried my servant Job? Have you tried my servant Job? And God says, Satan says, Well, you know what, God? No, because I see the hedge you have around him. You made him untouchable. But if you take away all of his stuff, take away everything from him. You know what, God? Jehovah. You take away everything from him, he will curse you to your face. He will curse you to your face. That was the wage. That was the wager. Satan lay before the divine tribunal. Forgive me. And now, Christians, let me ask you the question. Is there any set of circumstances that you can find yourself in? You would curse God to his face.

SPEAKER_06

None. Not one.

SPEAKER_10

Not a half of one. I just want to know. Anybody? Two witnesses? Candy? Vanessa? Savannah?

SPEAKER_04

Well, I'm not going to go ahead. Go ahead, Two. I I will say that if uh if Christ died in vain, I'll I'll I'll have a problem.

SPEAKER_10

Amen, brother. Sister Vanessa, what do you think?

SPEAKER_00

I think there's no way my savior can ever leave me, and I will never leave him.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

And I will never curse him, ever, ever, ever.

SPEAKER_09

That's right, sister. Candy, what do you think?

SPEAKER_05

You know, he saved me. I ain't trying to be dealt by him like that. So never. Why would I? He does everything good for me. That's right. It's only because of him I even live.

SPEAKER_09

Amen, sister. Mariah.

SPEAKER_10

Well, what happens if God what what what what what happens if God takes his hand from you? Is that possible?

SPEAKER_02

No. Once you're in his hands, you are kept. Not only are you in the Father's hands, but you're in the Son's hands.

SPEAKER_10

But are you sure about that?

SPEAKER_02

If it were possible that God should lose none, He said He loses none, and all that He has called to Him will come. And He will raise them up on the last day.

SPEAKER_10

Are you sure about that, sister? I'm just asking. Are you are you sure about that? 100% sure? Are you confident?

SPEAKER_02

I am confident that I could come boldly to the grace of throne, uh the throne of grace, and that he will deliver me. And as Job has said, I shall see him face to face in my flesh. I am positive.

SPEAKER_10

Sister Savannah, let me ask you a question. I'm not, I don't know. Is Mariah right? Or is she just talking outside of her neck? I mean, what I mean, what do you say? What do you say? Is she right? Savannah?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, absolutely. I mean, in the Bible, it says that that we are um sealed and guaranteed, you know, guaranteed to our inheritance, to our inheritance. So it's not just about, you know, salvation isn't something that you hold on to, it's part of your identity because you are born again, a new creation. And it also says in the Bible that the Holy Spirit is with you forever.

SPEAKER_10

Amen. Amen. I don't know. I don't know. I'm still a little troubled by this. Brother Jeffrey, what do you think? I don't know. There's got to be a problem with this.

SPEAKER_07

No, there's no problem. The problem is that the world is on fire and it is burning up badly. And there's nothing anybody can do to stop it. However, you, me, everybody on this panel, we are the modern day versions of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendigo. Because that fourth man who is in the fire with them is with us. The flames of this burning world will not scorch us. We will not come out smelling like uh burnt ash or burnt wood or anything else. We're gonna come out of it smelling like a rose, like he does, and we're gonna be better for it. Let the world burn. Okay? We're gonna go through it just like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendigo. We're gonna have a testimony when it is all said and done.

SPEAKER_10

I don't know about this, Jeffrey. I gotta find somebody who disagrees with it. Lisa, what do you think about this? Can you can you believe what these people are saying? Can you believe it?

SPEAKER_03

100% believe it. I believe, and I gotta tell you, I gotta tell you, Jeffrey. This the Holy Spirit just brought a memory to me, brought a remembrance to me because of what Jeffrey just said. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. When I was new in my walk and I was very insecure, Lord, I'm gonna fail you. Lord, I'm gonna fail you. One night I went to bed and I would I was so worried about my failing, not God failing me, but me failing. And he gave me the dream, and I hadn't even read Daniel yet about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. I saw four men in a furnace. I had to look it up in scripture, and I was when I read the story, I'm gonna tell you, we serve an amazing almighty God who oh come on, Lisa, come on. Almighty, almighty, we cannot fall, we cannot fail because it is He who sustains us. It is He. Oh, glory to God, praise Jesus.

SPEAKER_08

I can't believe it.

SPEAKER_04

I got you, I got you, I got you. This is what you want to hear. Come on. This is exactly what you want to hear. Watch. If you want to go to Jeremiah 3320, Jeremiah 3320. Jeremiah, according to Jeremiah 3320, we can lose our salvation. Okay, you guys, you guys agree? Don't you guys want to go to it?

SPEAKER_10

I'm there. 33 what?

SPEAKER_04

20.

SPEAKER_10

All right. What does it say?

The Panel Tests Perseverance

SPEAKER_04

It says thus says the Lord, those says the Lord, that we can lose our salvation if we can stop the sun and the moon from going around.

SPEAKER_10

Oh stop it! Are you sure about that too? Amen. Oh my god. All right, all right. Okay, I'm tired of this right now. I got one person left, I think. Meg, come on. You're come on, you gotta be on my side with this. There's what are these people, what are they all missing?

SPEAKER_06

They're missing one verse. First John chapter 5, verse 13. These things I have written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that you have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. You have eternal life. And he would never, ever, ever be denied. Ever. Candy, the Holy Spirit that is in us will not allow it.

SPEAKER_10

Candy, can you help me out here, please? Candy.

SPEAKER_05

Help you out.

SPEAKER_09

Help me out here.

SPEAKER_05

He tells me no one can pluck me out of his out of his hands. Oh my goodness. My name is written on his hands. Oh pierce to. I don't know what to say. But your question is, is can I be what was your question anyway? We don't miss up the bottom.

SPEAKER_03

Would you curse God? Would you curse God?

SPEAKER_05

If I didn't have God, I'm sure I would. But I have him, so I can't. And I won't. I don't think about it. I have no desire to. But to not be believe in the word.

SPEAKER_10

What about your free will?

SPEAKER_05

Man, we don't have the free will. I have a choice, and I chose Jesus, so there is no cursing my God, my savior.

SPEAKER_06

Let's ask you. What do you think? What see you?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, Jonathan. Help us off. What's your declaration?

SPEAKER_07

We want to know what you think, not what we think. What do you think?

SPEAKER_09

I'm just having fun with my brothers and sisters. You guys know what I think. I love you guys to death.

SPEAKER_10

You know, listen, I, you know, it's like one of the reasons why I'm doing this, why I'm doing this and I'm playing this out is because there's only one or two perspectives that you can have on this matter. You either think that the word of God is communicating to us that we can be boldly confident that we are in his hands, like my brother 2 brought up the verses when he brought up in Jeremiah. I just love that verse. But there's only two conclusions, you one of two conclusions that you can have, and only one of them is right. And Christians hold to both. Two camps. There is one group that says what everybody here has been saying. There's no way I would ever curse God. No way at all. No one here doubts for one second that they could ever see themselves cursing God. And no one here believes that they can refrain themselves or restrain themselves from cursing God, not because of their own strength in not doing it, but because it is God that keeps them from doing it.

SPEAKER_05

That's right.

Two Camps On Losing Salvation

SPEAKER_10

But then you have another group of Christianity that says, no, no. If God is God and He's given you this free will, or He's given you this or the other, you, and it has nothing to do with God, you can choose to walk away from God. But that's not what you guys are saying. You guys are all saying that there's no way any of us could ever get to the point where we charge God foolishly, where we say that our salvation is lost. You cannot be, let me tell you something. I will say this, and I hope that God, I know He will forgive me if I'm wrong about this one. You cannot be a Christian believing that the Lord God will fail you in bringing you to faith. It is a requirement. It is a requirement. Listen to what I'm saying. It is a requirement in being certain that salvation by God is yours if you believe. It is a requirement. Think about all the people who died and were destroyed on the way to the promised land in Moses' day. Think about it. God said, I swear by myself, you will never enter into my land. And it was only because of a lack of belief that he will get them there. It is an absolute requirement on behalf of a Christian, if you are a Christian, to believe that your salvation is certain, it is sure because of what he has done and is doing and not having to do with anything that you have done. That is a requirement. No Christian can believe I'm gonna lose my salvation. I am willing to go to go to the mat on this. Christians do not believe in a God that who cannot save or a God who is indifferent to salvation. I'm sorry. But I'm not sorry. What's that statement?

SPEAKER_08

I'm sorry, not sorry, whatever it is. May go ahead.

SPEAKER_06

Therefore, it's unbelief.

SPEAKER_10

It's unbelief. Christian, I'm telling you right now, you you don't let anybody tell there is no room for a belief that in a salvation that can be lost. No, there's no room for that at all. None. That is not a Christian belief. It simply is not. I'm sorry. It's not. Sorry, not sorry. Brother Jeffrey, go ahead.

SPEAKER_07

Jonathan, I've mentioned this once or twice before, but I think it's worth uh mentioning here again, if I may. If you could lose your salvation as you've said we would, but that would also mean Christ has to come back to this earth, be born of a virgin again, live a perfect life again, do what he did again, go to the cross again, be nailed to it, and resurrect again three days later with another victory over sin and death. Because he did die for all of your sins. When salvation occurs, where does the word of God say that? I don't find that anywhere. I find that once he took care of it, it's done. It has to be done because he was perfect. His sacrifice, Jonathan, was perfect. His blood was perfect, it was holy. It was for you, for me, and those who put their faith in him. That's it. You cannot lose something that is eternally yours. Absolutely. We can't give away something God, we can give away something God gives to us like our love and everything. But when He gives us our salvation, it's ours. Our name is in the Lamb's book of life, and no one, not even you, Jonathan, can erase it.

SPEAKER_10

That's right, brother. The gifts, the gifts and the high calling of God are what?

SPEAKER_06

Revocable and without repentance.

Irrevocable Gift And Lazarus Illustration

Faith By Hearing And Christ’s Power

SPEAKER_10

That's right. The gifts. Notice, sister, she because she Meg just got it right. The gifts and the high calling of God are without repentance. They are irrevocable. Irrevocable, irrevocable and without repentance. Listen, let me explain to you what this means, then we'll we'll end it here. Notice that we there are many of these so-called Christians who are not Christians. They're not. But that's not what the Bible teaches. It says that when God gives a gift, it is irrevocable. The implication is that once he gives that gift, it is something that cannot be brought back to him. Impossible. It's irrevocable. It is without repentance, meaning that when God gives it, it's yours. You can't give it back, and he doesn't revoke it. I don't know how anyone reads anything different into that. And like I try to explain to people many times, when God gives a gift, you will receive it. God is not asking you to receive it if you want it. He is giving it and you are accepting it, and he is not re revoking it. It is on the part of God, his objective to give it to you, and it is subjective in the sense that he has decided that this is what is going to happen, and that is a fact. It is not something that you can just go, oh no. It's not optional. God gave Lazarus, Jesus gave him life. He didn't go to him and ask him if he would like to re to be raised from the grave. He didn't go to Lazarus and go, hmm? Lazarus, I got this idea for you. You're dead. Clearly, I can see you're dead. And think about this. Because the Lord Jesus Christ would be a madman to be having a conversation with a dead man. Lazarus? I want to ask you if you would be willing to come back to life if I gave you the gift of life. Would you receive it? Would you take it? This was not, this is this is see, and I I I put it this way, so that you can hear and see how stupid it sounds. Think about this, let's take it a step further. God has decided, the Godhead, Father, Son, Holy Spirit. They decided they're going to create. God is going to create. Or on that day. Our parents did not ask us if we wanted to be their children. In all those situations, we understand how God does things. Let me explain to you what he does in two words. He commands, and it is so. And there is nothing more relevant as it pertains to his commands, as it is when it comes to those who are saved. Meg, do me a favor.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, brother.

SPEAKER_10

Turn to Romans chapter ten, verse seventeen and interpret the verse. Please.

SPEAKER_06

Romans chapter ten. Verse seventeen. So faith comes from hearing and hearing by the word of God. Faith comes by hearing. Well, we hear, and hearing by the word of God. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing at the command of God. This is how you hear. We have eyes that don't see, we have ears that don't hear. And in order for you to be here, to hear, you have to be made and born again to hear. If you ain't born again, you ain't hearing. And if you ain't hearing, you ain't having faith. And if you don't have faith, you ain't believing. And that's the only way it's coming.

SPEAKER_10

Amen, sister. Mariah, do me a favor. Turn to Hebrews chapter one. Read verse three and interpret it.

SPEAKER_02

I stepped away from my my word.

SPEAKER_08

All right. Let me see. So uh are you got your Bible with you right now?

SPEAKER_02

I can't get it.

SPEAKER_08

Okay, we'll get it, because I want to hear your your assessment on this.

SPEAKER_10

Anybody else who's looking, we're looking at Hebrews chapter one, verse three.

SPEAKER_02

I'm turning.

SPEAKER_09

All right. Hebrews chapter one.

SPEAKER_02

Verse three. It says, who being the brightness of his glory and the express image of his person and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high.

SPEAKER_08

So interpret that verse. Interpret verse three. And especially when it says the word of his power.

SPEAKER_02

Well, Jesus Christ is the glory of God, and he is the image of God. He is the Son of God who uh enrobed himself in flesh.

SPEAKER_09

Right.

SPEAKER_02

And he upholds all things by the word of his power. It is by what he has decreed and what he has said, and that which he will do, because he has said it, he shall do it by his own power.

SPEAKER_08

But it says it says that he upholds.
