The Bible Provocateur
BibleProvocateur is a podcast that refuses to let Scripture be tamed, sentimentalized, or softened for modern comfort. Here, the Bible is allowed to confront, unsettle, and provoke—just as it always has. Drawing deeply from Reformed theology, church history, and careful exegesis, this podcast presses hard questions about grace, law, repentance, faith, judgment, and the sovereignty of God.
Each episode engages Scripture with historical depth and theological honesty, interacting with Reformers, Puritans, and classic commentators while challenging popular assumptions in contemporary Christianity. This is not reactionary outrage or shallow controversy—it’s principled provocation, aimed at exposing error, sharpening doctrine, and calling the church back to a robust, God-centered faith.
If you’re tired of devotional fluff, allergic to theological clichés, and convinced the Bible still has the authority to offend before it comforts, BibleProvocateur is for you. Come ready to think carefully, repent deeply, and worship a God who refuses to be domesticated.

"Times Are Not Hidden From The Almighty" (Job 24:1-12), Part 5/5
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Evil can look confident, organized, and untouchable and that’s exactly why Job 24 hits so hard. We sit with the tension of God’s silence, the pain of watching injustice, and the honest question underneath it all: what does faithful trust look like when judgment feels delayed?
We talk about God’s sovereignty with both conviction and caution. Yes, the Lord is sovereign, and yes, all things ultimately fall from his hand, but we also admit how easy it is to misuse that doctrine the way Job’s friends did: saying true things while missing the moment, the person, and the mercy. For us, this becomes a call to handle Scripture with wisdom, to stay ready to give an answer, and to speak truth with decorum instead of turning theology into a bludgeon.
The conversation also turns practical and surprisingly modern: evangelism at work, praying for strangers, learning to speak up, and why TikTok ministry can be an authentic evangelism tool when it’s rooted in discipleship and love. We challenge each other to be bold enough to be hated for the right reasons, the way Jesus was, not because of our attitude but because of the message we carry.
We close with community, encouragement, and prayer, including lifting up a family facing widespread cancer and asking God to meet both spiritual and physical needs. If you’re searching for a grounded Bible study on the Book of Job, Christian discipleship, God’s sovereignty, suffering, and evangelism, you’ll feel right at home here. Subscribe for more, share this with a friend who needs steadiness, and leave a review telling us what part of Job 24 you’re still wrestling with.

Gratitude And Learning Wisdom
SPEAKER_03And study with Job. I don't know why God's making me study this with two different classes this last two months, but I gotta go back to work and stuff. And I haven't spoken for a while. And I just want to say thank you too. I've learned a lot and uh and it's got me uh just just we there's just so much to learn with Job that we can apply, especially in this chapter 24. It just feels so modern today sometimes, brother.
SPEAKER_04You know, amen, brother. Well, let me tell you something, Zach. Because you know, you you you say very little, and and and you you waited to a really good time to say what you to say as much as you have. And I'm telling you, I'm grateful for it. I'm thankful for it because everything you said that you just said was apropos to what we're talking about right now. And man, it it is such it it is such a a blessing when uh what's the what's the passage when it's like when the when the brethren dwell together, it's like the oil that goes down uh the Aaron's beard, right? And that's what this is like, brother. And and so, Zach, I you know, I believe me, I I wish you weren't going at nights. I love you to be hanging out here on nights. You're making me think I gotta go stir something up during the day, maybe.
SPEAKER_03But but um Well, one thing I've been able to do uh that that I think I've got out of this, I love when you were teaching and uh about wisdom. I learned a lot about you talking about wisdom, and so I've been praying a lot for wisdom. I think that's all we can all do. We know the difference between this wisdom and this knowledge, you know, and where it comes from. And so we don't understand, but man, we can pray, you know, and just and and the gratitude when when we're all down, man, just start giving that gratitude for the small things. Uh you know, so just amen, brother. Thank you, man, for all that you do. And and like you guys mentioned about Matthew, go out and make disciples, you know. That's what you're doing, brother. You know, I some people may think this TikTok thing is a joke, but the way that that we do it, it's going out and making disciples. And you know, I go to church and I I try to go out and get out and pray for people and uh you know help out at different organizations. And I know my works can't get me to help and into heaven, but you know, to go out and make disciples, you know, we're we're all evangelists in a way, and I'm trying to figure out my way to talk to people. And it's been mostly at work, you know. Um just it'd been all being around people, uh being a UPS driver saying, you know, hey, you know, what do you know about it? Can I pray for you? No, you don't need a prayer. Well, I'm not naive enough to know that nobody needs any prayer. Let me pray for you anyways, you know. And I'll just get them into that. And then it just kind of leads into one thing. So, so uh, and then I also had a problem speaking, so TikTok's helped me get some speaking over here. So once again, I'll we'll get back to get back to you, man. Thanks, brother.
Evangelism Through Work And TikTok
Truth With Courage And Decorum
SPEAKER_04Thank you, man. Thank you for all your kind, your good words, brother Zach. They were definitely uh beneficial to us all, man, and certainly a blessing. And I'm glad you're you're here. And we will enjoy you for as long as we can, and hopefully they'll get you back off that night shift and keep you back and bring you back here because um we we need to have a lot more uh faithful people who are students of the word of God and are willing to to share their understanding of things. And and uh and like you mentioned about TikTok, I take this very seriously. Very seriously. I know when God gave us something to use. I mean, this is an evangelistic tool, an evangelism tool that we can sit right at home and reach thousands of people at any given point. And so, and so the reality is my goal is to help do whatever I can to foster growth and other brothers and sisters who will be willing to go out and speak and and and to share and to preach and to and to and to spread the gospel and to and to be unapologetically, unapologetic, unapologetically truthful. And um, and that's why I got so much respect for my brother Davey, you know, because when a person, you know, it takes a lot of, it takes boldness to be able to say, okay, I'm gonna say something that you might have a problem with, let's talk about it. And that's what that's what we're supposed to do. That's what we're supposed to do. And and so, and and and we have to all be willing and ready to give an answer. To give an answer, and to and to put out there something to think about. You know, my brother brought up a good point. And and so good, because so I understand what he's what he's asking and what he's and what he's saying. You know, and then so like you know, I might say something like okay, when it comes to because because when it comes to like understanding God's sovereignty, everybody, because I'm I'm I'm just talking about this now because we're gonna wrap it up anyway, but we know God is sovereign, and we know like brother Kaz is saying, we also know that God has given us a calling. And we had a conversation the other day when we talked about the dispensationalism being in agreement with the crucifixion of Christ. And so if it is important, and we know from scripture that the Messiah is coming, the Jews knew they knew what the what the Old Testament said. For example, when we read in Isaiah 53 about the suffering servant who was gonna come, the Messiah who was gonna come. And we knew that he was gonna die. So when you get to Christ going to the cross, do we say, like Caiaphas, it's better that one die so that the whole nation doesn't die? We have to be careful when it comes to the things that we need to be careful as to how we rationalize these jewels that the Lord gives us. You know, because because He gives us the sword that he gives us, and it is sharp and it's cutting. So we have to make sure that we know how to wield it. And when somebody talks to us or uh, you know, we need to be ready to give an answer. But this is why we have these settings to get into. This is why we we have this. And and when you get competent people who have decorum and and the Christ, you know, really dwells in their heart richly, we can have these conversations and we can grow thereby. And that's the reason why we do this. It's important. It's important because we get it, we become equipped. And this is listen, every time we have a lie, every time we get together, which is almost every night, it's like to me having a Sunday morning every day. You know, having a Sunday, I I just I just love it. I just love it. And I love all of you. And I mean that genuinely, not just like this is something we're supposed to say as Christians. You know, and so even the guy that popped in here wanted to get into the other things, you know, I'm willing to have a conversation, but we need to make sure that we don't lose the train of thought because we have to not be ignorant of Satan's devices, who is often going to try to get us away from what we're talking about. And uh, and like Brother Joseph says, we need to be edifying, and we always need to do that. And um, and so it's a good thing. So we we will stop here, and uh, which is a good place to stop, actually, when I come down to my notes, it's a good place to stop. And we actually covered more ground than I thought I would. So tomorrow um we will pick up. I think it's in uh Job 24, verse 13. I don't think I got through that yet, 13 through 17. So we'll pick up there. And uh, and so in the meantime, I'll give everybody your your last word for tonight, and then we'll get together tomorrow if that's okay. So that um, brother David, how about you give your last word first?
SPEAKER_08I will give my parting thoughts. I love you guys. I do. And um I love you, I love the brethren, and I love I love the word of God, and I love Jesus, and I I I appreciate the the atmosphere and the environment that we have to kind of the ecosystem we have to grow this this faith of ours amongst ourselves. Amen. So I I I I don't have anything super spiritual to say tonight, other than I appreciate, I appreciate everything you guys do for us. I I do. And and and I I have a direct statement towards Pat. Listen, Pat, bro, you have been very inspirational to me. I'm serious, man. I I every time you speak, my ears perk up. So I I want you to know that that all the studying and all the things that you've done in the past do have an impact on people. And I and I love you, buddy, and I I very much appreciate your your the work that you put in over here on TikTok.
SPEAKER_06Davy, did somebody put you up to that, bro? And I'm being 100% serious.
SPEAKER_08No, they well, they did, and I'm getting a check for it later, but you know, that's you know, no, uh all kidding, all kidding aside, I know we I that really came from nobody told you to say that that came from you. I know listen, yeah, the Holy Spirit. I know we I know we jack around with each other a lot, and I we are kind of two P's in a pod, right? Uh when it comes to joking. But dude, I I I very much I hold you to very high regard. I do. And um I I I appreciate what you do and and and the things that you say. You're very smart, you've got a lot of a lot of knowledge, and I and I love when you impart knowledge onto us. Amen.
SPEAKER_04So thank you. And there's no nobody put me up to that. Davey, I'm so glad you said that to Pat. And Pat, by the way, my sister Barbara said she agrees and she says your prayers warm her heart.
SPEAKER_06I thought it came from you, Jonathan. You know that that's what I thought.
SPEAKER_04I know you thought it came from me. Davey, he thought they came. He thought I told you to say this or something like that.
SPEAKER_06Yes, I did.
SPEAKER_04And I did not.
SPEAKER_06Hey, hey, Davey, I I just want to make one thing clear, man. Um, I've lived for my own self my entire life. And one thing when I came to the Lord, I said, Lord, I've wasted most of my life glorifying myself. Please allow me to get in some punches as much time as I have on this earth. So, bro, I love you, man. I'm here to serve you. Just remember that, bro. I'm vice versa. I'm here to serve you, bro.
SPEAKER_08Vice versa, my friend. Anything I would anytime, anywhere.
SPEAKER_00Anything, man.
SPEAKER_08I I love this.
SPEAKER_04I love this right here. Uh, brother Davey, thank you for that. And and and and I'm thanking you also for what you're told, Pat, especially. Because that brother needs to hear this. He needs to hear this.
SPEAKER_08We don't, we don't work, we don't, we don't do for the accolades of man.
SPEAKER_04Right.
SPEAKER_08But it's nice to get recognized for the things for the for the things that you've done. And the work that you've put in for the Lord, right? So even though that's not what we work for, it's nice to get recognized every once in a while that, hey, you're making an impact.
SPEAKER_04You know what that's and brother Davy, that's that, and that's what that's what I think we need more of that. Even in these platforms like this, like in these lives and TikTok, there needs to be more of that, that that expression of appreciation. Because, and I know you weren't just puffing his head up, but what you were which what unbeknownst to yourself, perhaps, but I'm sure you probably think the same thing, you're encouraging Pat. I have been encouraging Pat. And that's why he thought you told he thought I told you something, but I didn't. No. No, I didn't. And and so I uh I I'm just glad you did that, brother. I'm glad you didn't, and I think he encourages us.
SPEAKER_08So sometimes it's nice to be able to encourage back. Amen.
SPEAKER_04That's right. Amen, brother. Amen. I appreciate that so much. Brother Zach, how about you giving your last word for tonight? I'm glad you came up tonight, brother. I'm so happy you did. Brother Zach, yeah?
Parting Words And Mutual Encouragement
SPEAKER_03There you go. Okay, yeah. Um, yeah. Okay, we'll just kind of yeah, I was just kind of sitting here thinking about uh about Job, and I was going through some some forward notes, and you know, Job didn't have have prophets. He did he, you know, the he they he kind of learned God from Adam and Eve, and then maybe Noah, and then some patriarchs after that. And so, you know, later on we we hear Job say that I've heard of you, you know, and now I I see you. And and what that means in one of my notes here is that we can have you know just partial knowledge and people can still seek him, you know. He's he's in our hearts, and so, you know, and so so maybe that's that's what you know, real faith is. It's like it's like not having all the answers, but but just trusting that God still sees us and he still knows us, and and you know, he hasn't let go of of our story, not just as like a whole world, but like individually too. And so I don't know. Just amen, man, brother. Thank you so much. I appreciate you.
SPEAKER_04All right, say appreciate you too as well, brother. Sister Vanessa, last word for tonight, sister.
SPEAKER_05Well, there's been a lot said here tonight, but I think it's covered, I think it's covered pretty much everything.
SPEAKER_04Yep. Well good.
SPEAKER_05All right, good and bad.
SPEAKER_04Um, I think it's I think it's all good. I mean, I think I think that when it comes, when you you know, that's the whole idea, is to is to have the conversation, and we're supposed to reason things through together, right? That's what we're supposed to do.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, right. But I'm just talking about, you know, they were talking about the war and all that kind of stuff, and I'm just thinking, yeah, that's not a good thing, but it happened. And you know what? Whether we like it or not, God already knew it. So that's my thing about it. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_04Well, God He He ordered it for sure.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that's what I mean.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, he He ordered it, and we got to deal with it. And we we understand that we understand that the Lord is sovereign. We understand that all things fall from his hand. Job told us this several times, and um, and we have to um to submit to it and understand it. Um but we have to be careful that of the uh of the things that we how we understand God's sovereignty because it is a powerful, powerful uh doctrine to understand, I mean, and to wield. It really is. And and and and and we know this because even as we've been going through this book of Job, we've been seeing his misery, his friends use truth as a bludgeon, as a blunt object to beat Job over the head with.
SPEAKER_05Sure did.
SPEAKER_04And but and and it wasn't that they were saying things that were wrong, they were just misapplying them.
SPEAKER_05To the wrong person.
SPEAKER_04To the wrong person.
SPEAKER_05But they did not know that though.
SPEAKER_04But but they didn't know that. They they they they didn't know that. But Job was also checking them on their behavior, on how they responded. He was bringing up things that they should have they should have understood through experience. And um, and so it shows that there's this there's this understanding that needs to be had with with which comes to looking at the sovereignty of God and understanding our role under that, you know, because as people are will say to the contrary, we don't believe that we're robots. We do believe that we are instruments of God, we are instruments of his to bring about his purpose. And so he uses us as instruments. So even when we pray, that's why I asked my brother earlier about prayer, because when we pray, it is, and he said correctly, that it has an it has an impact on us, but it's also the means through which God communicates his blessings, and so we are the means through which God communicates blessings to the world, you know, and um and so and and and I know that all of us are on are in line with that. Every one of us are are on that page for sure. Um, Sister Mariah, last word. She might be with the kitties.
SPEAKER_02A lot.
SPEAKER_04Oh, you didn't?
SPEAKER_02Yes, sir. Okay, a lot said and a a lot touched on, and and it's needful at times. Um, sometimes we think that we're just going so far uh left and nothing has been accomplished in our study, but I would like to think very different um on that because you know, as we know that the Lord guides our steps and our paths and our ways and you know, sometimes our mouths, and when we should and shouldn't talk and speak, um I think that it's needful at times to go derail a little bit. And so I I'm very grateful to everyone here. Um, you know, everyone is is useful. Everyone here is needed and um, you know, adds so much to this panel. And, you know, I just appreciate all of you guys and love you guys. And I I I'm just gonna meditate on a few things tonight. I know that for sure.
Job 24 And The Wicked Feel Safe
SPEAKER_04Well, that's good. We did our job. Absolutely. Brother Rod, last word for tonight.
SPEAKER_07All right, all right. I'm closing it out with my note. Uh-oh. I like the notes. All right, all right. So the scariest part to me about 20 Joe 24 isn't that the wicked existed, right? It's just that they they they kind of feel safe like while God is watching. And that's what I was trying to get at early. I was rambling, but as I sat here enough for my thoughts, I was like, let me slow down. But is that what I'm saying? It's like they kind of feel safe while God is still watching, you know. Cause like, because when judgment, that's what I'm saying. I gotta, because when judgment finally speaks or comes to comes to the light, it's it's gonna address everything that the Lord's silence allowed. And I'm gonna close out on that one. Right. I think I got it. No, I thought I'm going home. No, that's okay. I'm kidding. No, I gotta stop playing around, though. That's just my character, man. You know what I mean? I I just it's just so, it's it's so becoming that, you know, I just gotta, I I love the Lord so much more. I just, oh man. I'm just this is so yeah, that's my final. You know, I just think I'm gonna say it again. The scariest part of this is that, you know, it's not that the wicked is existing. It's just that, you know, they they still feel safe knowing that the Lord is watching. You know what I mean? As we talk about Anthony Mitchell, he stands up there and he says this and he says that. And it's like at the end of the day, when you go to sleep, you don't really, you don't feel you don't feel crazy about that. It's okay. Because everything out loud and silence, I'm gonna get you. I'm gonna say I'm gonna get you because I don't even want to say that, but you know, but he's gonna do his business how he does his business.
SPEAKER_04So amen, brother. I appreciate that. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Seriously, that good word there. Uh Candy, last word.
SPEAKER_00Last word. After everything, can you hear me? After everything being said tonight. I'm gonna leave out with 2 Corinthians in chapter 6. And it's working together with him. We also urge you to receive the grace of God. We urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain, for he says, At the acceptable time I listened to you, and on the day of salvation I helped you. Behold, now the acceptable time. Behold, now the day of salvation, given no cause for offense in anything so that the ministry will not be discredited, but in everything, and I'm reading this because it goes along with everything, everything. Job Anton, commending ourselves as servants of God in much endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, and distresses, in beatings, in imprisonments, in tumults and labors, in sleeplessness and hunger, in purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in genuine love, in the word of truth, in the power of God, by the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and the left, by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report, regarded as deceivers and yet true, as known, yet well known, and dying, yet behold, we live as punished, yet not put to death, as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing, as poor, yet making many rich, as having nothing, yet possessing all things.
SPEAKER_06Amen.
SPEAKER_00O Corinthians, our heart is opened wide. You are not restrained by us, you are restrained in your own affections. So now in a like exchange, I speak as a as to children, open wide to us also. So for those that we are to give the message to, we are to speak the message as if children could understand it. Not to worry about we're going to experience everything I just read. Job's experiencing it. Everyone's talked about it tonight. Things have been brought up. The wicked destroys the wicked. God says, Love our enemies. We we are not to hurt anyone, we are to give. We are to be the love that Christ gave to us by laying his life down. For another. If that's what we have to do in the name for his name's sake, then that's what we as children of God, heirs, to do with Christ Jesus to the kingdom, then that's what we are to do. That's right. We're not to be scared, worried, or anything about what happens. No matter where it's at. We do it, we do it in him with no worries because he's already over overcame the world anyway.
SPEAKER_04That's right. Good word, sister. Good word. Sister Lisa, last word for tonight.
SPEAKER_01Wow, um, uh, another good one, Jonathan. I don't think I've been to one that I've been unimpressed with, honestly. So um I'm so grateful to be here. But I was thinking about something that Brother Rodney was saying about don't these don't the wicked like have any kind of concern that they're doing this stuff in front of God? And I just want to read something out of 2 Thessalonians 2, verse 9. And it it goes along with what Job is saying basically, too. Um it's the sovereignty of God. The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all the wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refuse to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore, God sends them a strong delusion so they may believe what is false, in order that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
SPEAKER_03Amen.
SPEAKER_01You see, these these guys they they think they're good, and God lets them think they're good. He lets them think it. And so this is a good reminder for me as well. When I'm wondering why, you know, how can they not see? And it's kind of a warning to the brothers and sisters who are claiming the name of Christ that want to stand with unrighteousness. This is a dangerous thing because those who will stand there and let their pride come before the truth, um, you know, again, if they've already got the spirit of God within them, you know, they're probably just gonna uh receive a little bit of chastening. But if they're those who are on the verge and they have not yet been born again and we're we're just playing around with God, this is a really, really dangerous um place to put yourself in. So thank you for this study. Thank you for this reminder. And Davey, I just want to say to you, um, it was wonderful to hear you up here. And the reason that that that subject came up was um I brought it up because I have been receiving basically hatred from supposed Christian brothers and sisters who want to stand with the nation of Israel and do things. And so um it's really the separation. I believe that the Lord is showing me who's who, and I just pray for the strength to get through it. You know what I mean? Um, as old school says, hearts are hardened, and it's we can't let that happen to us. Let our hearts be soft. Humanity is what matters. Remember Jesus looking at the Pharisees saying, You whitewash tombs, you know, you look so clean and holy on the outside, yet you're you're filthy on the inside. Paraphrasing, obviously, but let our hearts not go there. You know, let's follow our Lord. Thank you. Sorry about the sermon.
SPEAKER_04It's funny. Whenever I say no sermons, that's when that's when I get the sermon. But I didn't say that tonight, so I don't know. You did you did good. You did good, sister.
SPEAKER_01I it was a free-for-all tonight, Jonathan.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it was it well, like I I think what what Mariah said is right. It's like like I don't mind I I think that sometimes it it warrants going off the beaten path a little bit. You need we need that we need to maintain that flexibility uh in order to have in order to have some some other aspects of uh that are that are meaningful and worth talking about. So um so I I I welcome there are certain distractions that we should be allowed to welcome and to and to and to entertain, and we need to do that. And and and this is one of those nights, and I think it's a good it's a good thing. It's a good it's a good thing.
SPEAKER_08Hey Jonathan, could I could I say something to one other person on the panel if it's okay with you? I I just want to say, I I just want to and I I I'm I I I don't know why I didn't bring it up, but Mariah. Listen, she has taught me how to live and breathe and move in grace. And I I I'm gonna tell you, Mariah has been a blessing to me. And I want her to know that. And and she, you know, she her and I talk a lot behind the scenes. We haven't in a while, but we you know, we do talk about things and we we share a heart together. And and I I just want I just want her to know that I she is highly loved and highly appreciated, and she is a blessing.
SPEAKER_02As I as are you, I I really love you and I appreciate you. And I haven't talked to you in a while, so I I just messaged you because I'm like, I haven't spoken to my brother in so long. But I do love you and I thank you for that. Thank you. You're yeah, you're welcome, Variah. Thank you.
SPEAKER_04Thank you. You encouraged me, sister.
SPEAKER_02So Glory be to God.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, she she encourages us, us, us all. That's for sure. That's for sure. So, um, brother Pat, if you would, uh your last word, and if you would mind, close us out, brother, because you need it.
SPEAKER_06Well, uh my last word is I'm thinking about Jesus. Um and how did the world, you know, we're talking about the world, that there's two types of people. There's those who are under God's grace, and there's the wicked. And isn't it interesting that when you look at Jesus, he you could say, well, Jesus, he was loved by many. But it's the same Jesus was also hated by many. Yep. I want to encourage Christians to be brave enough to be hated for the right reasons. Oh good one.
SPEAKER_04Good one, brother. Good one.
SPEAKER_06All the right people hated Jesus, and all the right people loved Jesus, and uh that he was drawing on to himself started off like Paul did off hating him, ended up loving him in the end.
SPEAKER_04Amen, brother.
Prayer Request And Closing Prayer
SPEAKER_06He didn't sin, but if you stand for truth, you should be making waves in this world, or else something's wrong. Something's wrong. You you should be making waves, not because of your poor behavior, but because of the message that we carry with us. If they hated him, they should hate you also for the same reasons. So I just want to uh I just wanted to provoke, I guess, uh mission accomplished to be bold. To be bold, mission accomplished, let's be bold, let's be loved on account of Christ, and we will rejoice when we're hated on account for Christ. Amen, brother. Let's join in prayer, shall we?
SPEAKER_00Brother Pat.
unknownYes.
SPEAKER_00If you don't care, can you um can you add my Uncle Alfred and my aunt? They um they found out he's got cancer and it's it's everywhere. Like neck, back, chest, throat, like everywhere. So we don't really know, but they just started like three things of chemo. They don't have him on radiation yet. Um he just had a surgery for uh colon issues, and they ended up with a colossomy bag. It's it's rough for him right now, and she's tired. I mean, she's she's tired, and she's got her own health issues, but blessed. He dedicated his life, so that's a blessing, and she knows it's God's will. They know it's God's will. It's just, you know, it's taking his independence, and it's it's it's a struggle for him, for him, definitely right now, and for her to see him that way as well.
SPEAKER_06This is your uncle, um, sister candy?
SPEAKER_00His name's Alfred and Vanessa, if you'd rather use their names, but sure, sure.
SPEAKER_06All right, let's join in prayer.
unknownThanks.
SPEAKER_06Our Heavenly Father, we're we're constantly humbled by the many gifts that you give up, have given us, Lord, and for sharing truth with us that we are entirely unworthy of of understanding, of receiving, Lord, and yet by your grace you fill us with these truths and teach us and conform us unto the image of your son. And we thank you for that, Lord. Lord, we pray that you meet our spiritual needs, Lord. That you change our hearts, Lord. Fill us with fill us with your spirit, Lord. Change us, teach us, God. We pray that our physical needs are met as well, Lord. We pray we lift up Sister Candy's uncle and aunt, Lord, with this problem with cancer, Lord. We pray that you're with them both physically, Lord, but also the toll that it takes. These bodies are they're perishing, Lord, and Lord, this we're so weak and feeble, Lord. We pray that you have your hand on this this situation, that your will be done. If it's your will that you heal, Lord, and sustain them spiritually as well. Fill them with peace and joy, Lord. Bring them unto yourself. Use this situation to draw them unto yourself like never before, God. We pray. Lord, we pray that you cause this group of people, Lord. I want to pray for the people in this study, Lord. Cause us to be right-minded, Lord. I pray this, Lord. If we have false beliefs, Lord, please remove our pride. Cause us to shed it. If we're in error, Lord, please cleanse us, Lord. Teach us. If we need to be confronted with your word, let that happen, Lord. If you need to bring us to our knees over any issue or secret sin or anything we're unaware of, Lord, I pray for this group of people. Refine us, Lord, and cause us to be blessings that are worthy of our calling, God. I pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.

I really can't wait. So, you guys, it's been a great, great, great night. I really loved it. And I love the that we were able to capitalize off being a little fluid and uh and going off the beaten path a little bit. That's what we need to do sometimes to keep things spiced up. But um, but but I welcome it and and I hope we continue to be able to operate in that spirit for always. And so I love you all dearly and uh and keep coming back and let's keep let's keep working, let's keep fighting in this kingdom fight. May God bless you all. Be provoked and be persuaded. God bless you.
