A mother’s grief is its own kind of language and Sister Bobby speaks it with honesty, tenderness, and a steady trust in God that stops you in your tracks. We sit with her testimony of losing her daughter Heather, the ache of replaying those moments, and the strange strength that can show up when all you can do is pray. If you’ve ever wondered what “faith” looks like when life is not getting better, this conversation gives you something real to hold.

We also talk through the spiritual questions that rise to the surface in suffering: Do you ever bring complaints to God? How does the book of Job change the way you think about tragedy? Bobby shares the moment she and a friend asked Heather if she was sure about heaven, including the haunting detail of recurring elevator dreams and the relief of hearing a clear confession of faith near the end. Along the way we mention anchor passages that many Christians return to in grief, including Job 1:21 and Jeremiah 29:11, and why Scripture can feel like oxygen when your mind can’t find words.

The conversation doesn’t stay abstract. Bobby opens up about complicated family relationships, learning to love at a distance, and the long road of praying for reconciliation. We ask a direct, personal question, “Who is Jesus to you?” and her answer lands with weight, especially as she describes facing health fears and choosing trust over control. She also shares how she’s kept a detailed journal and is working toward turning it into a book so other people walking through child loss, bereavement, and Christian grief support can find hope.

If this testimony helps you, subscribe for more, share it with someone who’s hurting, and leave a review so more listeners can find these conversations. What part of Bobby’s story stayed with you the most?

Gratitude And A Hard Question

SPEAKER_05

Everybody here, you know, for me, uh uh it's like I've I've gotten um I I got a I got a sweet tooth. I got cavities now because of because of the the blessings that I have with all with all of you and and and Bobby, you're another one of those people, you, Vanessa, Mariah, all everybody here, now I look for you. And when people aren't there, I wonder where they are. So thank you for those kind words, sister. I really it's really a blessing to know that I could be a blessing to somebody, uh, especially someone that's gone through as much as you've gone through. So um I really appreciate those kind words. And uh, but I want to ask you another question. I want to ask you another question. Um did you have many conversations with the God with the Lord that you thought even he might be shocked hearing you say? Like, did you did you have any issues, gripes with God during this time?

SPEAKER_07

No, no, I did not. You know, I constantly prayed. Um I mean, I've always I've always God has always gave me a lot of faith. I've always had a lot of faith my entire life. And um, you know, it's just that's all I knew to do. I had nobody.

Faith Without Anger Toward God

SPEAKER_05

Right. Wow, sister Meg, what do you have for our sister? Anything? Sister Grace, how about you?

SPEAKER_00

Yes, I just want to say, like, wow, you know, that's a powerful, powerful story, and what like what a tragic thing for her to go through, but at the same time, um it it's like a you know, like a blessing in disguise, you know, like you said, um, I like that you said that, you know, you didn't regret praying that prayer, but I just couldn't imagine, like, because I have children on my own, but I just couldn't imagine um just watching my children go through go through something like that. Um and it's really um encouraging, you know, to to know that like how much the Lord was there for you and how uh you were able, you know, because how are you able to stay so strong during that, right? Is because well I'm just assuming, you know, just because the Lord was there through with you um through all of that, and it's and your story is a um a blessing to me, and your daughter's story is a blessing to me because it I I realize that I take for granted like my health and my children's health and you know my mother's health, like my family's health, you know, and and I think we should all like all of us should be more thankful that you know that we're healthy. Um you know, and and it's just like wow, like you have, you know, you really have refreshed my my faith um with your testimony. Um and it you know, I was tearing up when you were talking about um your daughter and and watching her, you know, go through everything that she went through. And um I couldn't imagine, you know, the heartbreak that you felt when your daughter, you know, um went home to be with the Lord. You know, so I I I don't really don't know what to say, you know, about that. There's not much you can say, right? Um, but I'm just I'm so blessed to hear that. Yeah. I'm glad to hear that, you know, that she did know the Lord, and I I can't wait to meet Heather one day, you know, in heav in heaven.

SPEAKER_05

That's awesome. Um, Sister Candy.

Job And Scripture As Comfort

Turning A Journal Into A Book

SPEAKER_03

Like we think Job went through something, right? What she's experienced, what you've experienced, Bobby, is something just it reminds me of Job. Well, and and that's where I'm coming from with it because I'm like, and here we are studying Job, but listening to what you've endured and what she endured and and the the outcome. It was how much you spoke of God, how much you spoke of her leaning on God and being, you know, turning from the ways that she was and what it took, what you ended up praying for, and how all of like like like Vanessa said, like to see what you went through, to hear it, it's it's um it's it's man glory to God for his love, his mercy, his grace, his comfort. You know, I was actually sitting here and and reading some stuff, and it brings me to Psalms 119 and a couple of different things in verse 10, verse 58. It's like, with my whole heart have you sought him. Don't wonder from his commandments with and keeping your eyes and heart and soul all on the Lord, you know, and you were entreated with the favor, and so was she. And then you go to Jeremiah and he says, and he will give them a heart to know him, that he is Lord, and it's he she is his people, he is her God, and she did return to him with her whole heart, and you as well. I would have never made it without him. Amen. Like you call upon him, you go and pray to him, like he will hearken unto us. You gave you like you, you, you gave so much of God's word, like the truth in it, and what it's what it would be like. Like, that's I'm glad you wrote the book.

SPEAKER_07

I haven't heard really, I mean, I haven't published it or nothing. I've contacted a few places and they want all the proceeds. I'm not really worried about the proceeds that much, but I don't want you to take my and like I said, it's it, I mean, there's more to the book as far as like what I did was kept a journal of everything that happened daily, you know, and I've got for the news article and the newspaper and you know, poems I've written and stuff like that. But you guys are really the first people to really hear it. Um my daughter Brittany read it and Vanessa read it, and my granddaughter read it, but my granddaughter read it so quick because it was her mom, but I don't think she really got into it.

SPEAKER_03

Well, it's very inspirational, and I don't know too much about it, but I've heard some people like they go to and publish it on Amazon, and I'm pretty sure they don't have to worry too much about proceeds or whatever being taken or whatever, however you want to look into it. But just an option that you might want to try to look at if you want to go that that way with it, but it is very, very inspirational, and I'm sure there's more people that could use that those words of encouragement and hope of the faith that you had.

SPEAKER_06

Amen.

SPEAKER_05

Uh, brother Jeffrey, anything? Any thoughts? And then Mariah.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Good evening, Bobby. As you were sharing tonight, it it wow, this is an incredible story. And Bobby, I know it takes a lot of strength to have to go through it and relay it again because you have to go back and relive some of those hurtful moments, uh, the loss, the suffering that you've been through. So, Bobby, I hope that I can encourage you with this. For the pain that you have been through, the suffering, the hurt, the rejection from family, all of the things that you describe this evening. There will come a moment when you stand right in the presence of Jesus, and he puts a crown on your head, he looks you in the eye, and he says, Bobby, well done. Good and faithful servant. And at that moment, Bobby, you will then realize that the pain you suffered here, the pain that you endured, the pain that you worked through, all the things, the rejection, the pain, suffering, all of it, it was all worth it for that moment. Am I saying you want to go through those things again? No, no. But I am saying when we see him face to face, when you see him face to face, and he tells you, well done, good and faithful servant, all of it, Bobby, will have been worth it. So be encouraged by that. Okay. Thank you for an excellent story. We love you. And it took a lot of courage to share this. It wasn't easy for you to do, but we appreciate it, okay? So thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

SPEAKER_05

I think the hardest part was getting the camera turned on. Getting her invited up here. I agree.

SPEAKER_07

I got done, I got done before 12.

Heather’s Salvation And The Elevator Dreams

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, but it was worth it. Getting that camera turned on. It was worth it. It was great. Sister Mariah, you have something you wanted to add.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, um, so you said something about you and your best friend going, and then you asked Heather if she um knew that she was going to heaven. You know, you said that she had these past dreams where she couldn't press the elevator button to go up, but all she can do is press down. And I'm just wondering, like, what was it like a conversation you and your best friend were having, or is it just something that God put on your heart to ask her if she is sure of of where she is to be, or if she can push that elevator button up and and you know and have life? Like, I'm I'm just curious to know.

SPEAKER_07

Well, the dreams was what she was having, you know, before she ever got sick. But then when she reje received Christ, that was near the end. Actually, it was like two weeks before she passed. And me and my friend were, you know, talking and fine, you know, she's like, I said, I think Heather's saved, but I'm not sure. My friend says, Well, let's ask her. And as much as I talked about God, I mean, Heather would talk about God, and she would always say, Mom, I know that God don't put no more on you than you can bear. Um, so that's why I kind of thought she might still be, you know, that she was saved. But you know, the lifestyle she was living when she turned, you know, she was married for five years and then decided to be gay and left her marriage. And you know, but she ended up, like I said, she ended up getting remarried. She ended up dating a guy and stayed lived with him for about a year, and then she got with the guy she married. But that was she was only married to him three months when she got sick.

SPEAKER_06

Wow, that's pretty that's pretty amazing.

SPEAKER_05

Pretty amazing. Meg, you there? I think Meg might be asleep. Me too. Kelly, uh, Kelly Blazing Rose asked a what asked a question. What she asked what your favorite verse was, Bobby. Your favorite Bible verse.

SPEAKER_07

Is it uh Job Job one? What is it? I've got it written down here. I don't want to get to the is it Job 121.

SPEAKER_05

Your favorite your favorite verse is in is in the book of Job.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_07

And then my other one is um uh Jeremiah uh 29, 11. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord.

Remembering Heather’s Personality

SPEAKER_05

Yep. Excellent, excellent. No, so so all this time you know has gone by. Well, let me ask you a question. Just I had another question I wanted to ask you. If if if like to all of us, because we didn't we didn't get to know your daughter at all, and and what would you tell us is something that you consider to be something um that you'd want to tell us about her? Like, like in other words, what what was something that was memorable about her that you would tell tell people people like us that have never met her? Something about her, a bright spot in her personality, her character, or you know, just something good about her humanity.

SPEAKER_07

She was very outgoing, loved to talk like me. She reminded she reminded me a lot of me. Like I mean, I can see me in her.

SPEAKER_06

Right.

SPEAKER_07

Um, she was always a big social butterfly. Um, I remember when she was in in school, back in high school, she'd gotten a F on the report card, and I went to conference and I asked the teacher, I'm like, so what's the problem? And he said, She's a social butterfly. And I said, Well, you know what? Either I'm coming in this school to sit here and watch her, or you're gonna move your desk, her desk, to your beside you. And he moved it beside him, and her grade went up.

SPEAKER_06

Good.

SPEAKER_07

She she was a very outgoing. Now, my daughter Brittany, she doesn't care for people, she's not a people person at all. She's not got any Britney's not got any friends, very few if if she has any at all. Two opposite kids. Heather loved me, Heather bought me cards, Heather bought me Christmas presents, birthday presents, just presents in general. Brittany's never bought me a card, she's never bought me a gift. Um, you know, and it's just you know, when I read um is it Mark 34? God says uh about he didn't come to bring um peace. But a sword, is that is it in I think it's Mark.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, we talked about where he talks about um uh mother against daughter, yeah, mother against daughter, yeah.

SPEAKER_07

When I read that, I mean I'd heard I'd read it before, but it never really sunk in the way it did the day that I was reading it and it hit me in the face. And I always felt guilty because you know, I just felt that you know she's my kid, but I I just can't keep letting her use me. And um when I seen that, I'm like, you know what, I've got peace about it. Because and and then I read The Sovereignty of God. That book and the attributes of God did it for me. That's where I I'm at peace with everything with God.

What To Tell Suffering Parents

SPEAKER_05

Well, that that though, yeah, those books are very um, they they they really get things straight because they they they point you to God and his sovereignty in all things. And it and it's it's it it it these things bring comfort to us all, you know. And when we understand who God really is and and and and how he operates and how he functions, and we we see that that he is involved in every aspect of our lives, bringing us on this careful road to himself, you know, and so it's such a blessing that you go through all of what you've gone through and you still remain faithful. Well, um let me ask you this question, though. What would you tell another mother or father, perhaps, who's dealing with a situation like you had to deal with? What would you tell them?

SPEAKER_07

You gotta give it to God. You gotta you gotta have the faith and you gotta God's in control. There's nothing there really, honestly, my own opinion, your hands are tied. You can't do anything. God's got it all under control. This was done from the beginning to the end, you know. Yes, and I I like I say, since I've been following you, I've I've even gotten, you know, now I now I understand it because when Heather first got sick, and she was in the hospital and her dad came back here. Me and him had gone to lunch one day. And you know, I said, I wonder if if it's something Heather done, if it's something we done, is it my fault? Is it your fault? Is it Heather's fault? Whose fault is it? There's a reason we're going through this.

SPEAKER_06

Right.

SPEAKER_07

And you know, him falling back out of the church, being a pastor and all that. And then whenever we started studying Joe, and when I read the sovereignty of God, I got my answer. That was that's God's in control.

SPEAKER_05

Amen, sister. And and and let me ask you a question. When you when you came to faith, I know you've been a Christian for a long time, but how how I just wanted to ask you, because I don't I don't think I don't know if you said it or not, but how what was the impetus that brought you to faith? What what brought you to faith? What was that what was it?

SPEAKER_07

Well, that was when I told you when I told you I had smoked the marijuana and was laying out in the sun, and the boy said go to church on Sunday. Well, I started going that Sunday, I went to church. And I just I went for two years, I went to church. And then my ex had the affair, and I got out of church, and then we ended up I got pregnant with Brittany, and that's when he had the affair, so we got out, and then I I didn't go to church for 11 years.

SPEAKER_05

For 11 years.

SPEAKER_07

Yep. Well I think I yeah, I it was it was about 11 years, yeah. But ever since then, I've never I've never felt back.

SPEAKER_05

Right.

SPEAKER_07

So it was in like 2002.

SPEAKER_05

And so when you when you came when you were gone for 11 years, then what brought you back? What brought you back around? I mean, we I know it was God, but but what what what did you think?

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, I you know, I don't I don't even really recall. I mean, because I would still pray and I would still go to church occasionally, but I still wasn't living the life like I sh like I did live as you know when I was going to church.

SPEAKER_05

I see. Anybody else want to add anything or ask our sister anything? Candy had a question. Oh, she's gone.

unknown

No, she's gonna be there.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, she's there. Candy's there.

SPEAKER_03

I have a question. I just I just thought that how she uh I meant to say it earlier, how she was uh ended up being a blessing throughout all of it to other people, and then how she was also blessed with other people who were willing to sacrifice something in their that ended up sacrificing something in their life for her, for her well-being. Like the the the nurse that lost her lost her job for going above and beyond for someone else. And that's that was something that was touching as well. And how God still was just uses his his children. He was with her the whole time. Yeah. He was. There's no doubt about it in my mind. Like I you could feel it. It was such a beautiful testimony. I'm I again I I don't I can't even I just the just think that I you see where I'm at? There's no words to even try to understand. None. It's God. But Candy. But God. But God, Vanessa.

SPEAKER_06

Sure.

SPEAKER_03

God. That's that like she is a true when it comes to the power that rose Jesus from the grave, indwelling in you, the strength, the comfort, the the understanding, everything, every attribute of Christ, every characteristic of Christ that was displayed throughout all of that. Not only that, but was it if it even if it wasn't displayed what you learnt and became from it. You know, so like you said it earlier, and you were like, you know, sometimes you have to end up going, sometimes it's going to the rock bottom before people turn to him.

unknown

That's true.

SPEAKER_07

Some never do. Some kind of hate, some look they hate him. Some people hate God after something like that.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, they do. They never were with him, they never were his to begin with, then apparently. Yeah. And you know, I I could relate to one part that you was talking about earlier, and that is, you know, when when Jesus says that he came not only to save, but to divide, you know? He came to divide. And there was a point in my life that with my own mom that I couldn't it I didn't know how to be around her because when they bring out the worst in you, like how do you be around somebody like that when when you don't want to be the old old Jew that you were, you know what I'm saying? You're not who you used to be, but they it's like they they do anything and everything to pull that out of you. But at the same time, without even scripture, like, but Jesus told me, He's like, it's okay to put that distance between you, you know, but that don't mean not to love them. Right. You could love them at a distance, basically.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And then through through that situation, it ended up again, he reconciled me and my mother's relationship in the end. But it was it was a stretch, because you know, the Bible says, honor thy father and thy mother. And I that was where I was struggling because that was my mom. Like, how do I how do I not want to be around my own mom, you know? And it was like that's what he he said, you can love her at a distance, you know, but still love her and not and then eventually again the reconciliation, he is so awesome.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, he is.

SPEAKER_03

It's just beautiful to see him work in the ways that he works.

SPEAKER_05

Yep. Brother Pat.

Who Jesus Is To Bobby

SPEAKER_02

Hey, Sister Bobby.

SPEAKER_07

Hey Pat.

SPEAKER_02

Wonderful. I I'm I'm always fascinated with the work of God when everything you've been through and and you don't have a heart full of bitterness. It's amazing. Yeah, I really feel that that's a miracle when when God has his hand on your life like that and gives you that kind of strength and works in your life. I got a question for you. Um and I don't want a theological answer. I don't want the right, the quote, right answer, like if you were taking a test or or you are being graded in school. I want the personal answer. Who is Jesus to you? Who is Jesus to Bobby? What does he mean to you in your life where you are today?

SPEAKER_07

He is my everything. I have no fear of anything. Um, I went through skin cancer back in January. I didn't even want to have it removed. I I am at the point that I don't want to see a doctor. Jesus is my doctor. And my mother went through uh cancer, my mom died of cancer at 41, lung cancer. And she had to take chemo and radiation. And when I seen my mother pass away, I said, I am not. I don't care. I'm not taking any kind of treatments. You're only gonna live as long as God lets you live.

SPEAKER_05

Amen, sister.

SPEAKER_07

I have I honestly have the most faith. I trust God in everything. I don't worry about anything. Uh I give it to Him.

SPEAKER_05

That's my sister there. That's my sister there. Bobby, you are you you are a total sister, total sweetheart. And I and I think that I think there are a lot of you. The sisters talk. Yeah, but but uh you know, but but you you know, you really are. And um and you know, when you even even in the comments, when you when we're doing the live, the things you say and the support you show, it it is very hard. It would be very hard, I think, for anybody to get to know you, to get to meet you, and not see it wouldn't take very long for them to know that you are truly, truly are a woman of a woman of God. And and so um be encouraged in that because there's because because you're still here, that means there's still things you have to do, and maybe if things work out the way we hope they would, you know, God will um do something to restore that relationship with your other daughter. You know, I don't know what's going on there, and don't need to know, it's not my business, but uh it's definitely going to be a prayer for me when I when I pray for you at night that um if there's anything that he's willing to do, that he would do it. As I'm sure you're probably praying yourself.

SPEAKER_07

Um I pray every day, every day I do, and you know, I don't know, it's just like me and her have never got along since she was big enough to talk. And she she when she sees me, she just like she cringes. She can't stand me. She don't wanna she don't want to call me, she don't want to talk to me. And then when I called her and told her I was that I had skin cancer, she was like crying and going on because I said, I don't know if I'm gonna have the surgery. And she's like, Well, you need to. And I said, Well, is it gonna prolong my life? Probably not. It ain't gonna, you know, it it's the basal cell anyway. So it's the if you're gonna have skin cancer, it's the best kind of hat.

SPEAKER_06

Right.

SPEAKER_07

And then when I called her, she was like crying and going on, and then I never heard from her again for four or five months.

SPEAKER_05

Wow. Yeah, I can't imagine what that's what that's like, but I you know, I got two daughters myself, and they're they're gone, they're grown. And um, but you know, this like your testimony really, you know, it really makes you think about your the relationships that we have with our children. You know, because I certainly, I certainly would like, because I always I've said this before, it if I I wish that my relationships with my daughters were and we're pretty close. But I wish that I hope that it never it doesn't have to take something like what you have to go through in order to really have a good relationship with them. Um because it's it's just tough. Like it like when talking to a mother that had that that that that that that happened to what you went through, it's even hard to to know what to even ask you about it because it's such a it's such a trial, it's such a trial to for a mother to lose their child before they go, you know? And uh I can only imagine what that's like. That's all I can do is imagine it and and still not come close to what you must have gone through or what any mother would go through, something like that. So um, you know, it's it's evident that God is has a very clear and present purpose in your life to have you as his child and to have you as my sister, too. You truly are sister.

SPEAKER_06

That's right.

SPEAKER_07

I will say this.

SPEAKER_06

Sure.

SPEAKER_07

I don't care. If you're child, if you're God's child, he will not leave you alone until you come back.

SPEAKER_05

Yep. That's what he says. He says he says, even if one leaves the flock, he'll go, he'll leave the 99 and go get that other one to make sure that that he brings us all back home. So we will end up there.

SPEAKER_03

Yep.

SPEAKER_05

Candy, you have one last thing you wanted to say?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's what I read earlier, too. He will he will cause you to return to him with the whole heart. Because he gives us that heart that he will have us to return with the wholeness of it. But yeah, just to remember this as a word of encouragement. I hope to be. And that is when you think that when your daughter looks at you and she cringes and can't stand you, basically, don't think of it as her, because it's not her. That's the enemy that sees God in you. Just like when He when Jesus approached and He was like, Oh man, what do you want? You know that's just something that He's shown me lately, too. And when I heard you say that, it was like it it re brought that to remembrance to me as well, to say to speak to you what he showed me about that situation. And it's not them. That's not who they are in him. But he has his hands on her, she's his. It's all in his time and not ours.

SPEAKER_07

And that's what gets me through. I just, you know, I I pray for her kids. I don't get to see them. Um, my granddaughter, well, they're all my older her oldest one is 23 now, and he just got engaged a few weeks ago. And the middle one, he's the only one that really keeps in contact with me. I hear from him more than any of them. And then the daughter, she moved out a year ago with her boyfriend, and she's not sick, she's left the whole family. She won't talk to anybody. But just yesterday she got a hold of me because me and my husband have property up north, and she asked me if she's been wanting some of her mom's stuff. So she asked me if I had some stuff and she was wanting me to mail it to her. I said, No, when I come up north, you can get it then. So she said, Well, maybe me and my boyfriend will come and see you at the property. And then the middle one, Xavier, that contacts me a lot. He he got a hold of me today and asked me, have you still got your property up north? And I said, Yeah, and he goes, Well, maybe me and my girlfriend will come up there. So I'm thinking, well, I've been praying for this because I just it's like they, you know, they just they're all I have of my daughter. And it's like God's answering my prayer.

SPEAKER_03

So Amen. And I was gonna ask you, do they know Jesus? But it's obvious that he's working all things for the good of those that love him. So yeah.

SPEAKER_07

I took them to church, and their dad told me I had to quit taking them. He wanted them to go to the Catholic church, and he never took them. But Xavier told me that he's going to church with his girlfriend, but I think she is uh I don't know what faith she is really. I've seen pictures on her Facebook where she got baptized, and it was like I think it's like a oneness church, but I'm not positive. I can't say. I don't know. But I'm praying on that too.

SPEAKER_03

So you you seem to know the right questions to ask for them to call out to the Lord. So and to know where they're going if they was to pass today or tomorrow, you know. So God is still using you and He's always there. And again, it's His time and He's working all things for the good of those that love Him. And yes, sister, He is answering your prayers.

SPEAKER_05

Bobby, one of the one of the one of the brothers in the in the chat, uh Son of Man, you can see him down there. He says, Peace and grace to you, Sister Bobby. Thank you. We can tell you that. And and brother Pat, he had one more thing to say. Uh Pat, if you if you would, would you mind closing this out after you say your your next words to Sister Bobby?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I you know, I wanted to just say one word about your testimony really made me think of the curtain curse of sin and death. You know, like everything you've been through, so much of it is a result of sin, sickness, the trials, you know, that so much of what you've been through, uh it's a result of sin entering this world. And um it really made me think, Sister Bobby, I have um I have some siblings that are they have a by worldly standards an extremely blessed life. They're extremely rich, have very little cares in the world. Everything just seems to go their way. You know what I mean? It it seems like everything always just lines up and they have there's no troubles in their life. And as a result, they want nothing to do with God. And it really dawned upon me what it when I was hearing you speak, those who are first will be last, and those who are last will be first. And that's you're experiencing the curse in this life of sin and death. It's been it's touched your family, it's touched your life, the trials, the tribulations. And I think that you're first in line to have that curse broken. Boy, if anybody understands Jesus, it's somebody like you, right? If anybody is waiting and will appreciate what he did on the cross and can't wait to be united with him, it sure is somebody like you. And I I just wanted to say that I really appreciate you, sister.

SPEAKER_07

Thank you.

SPEAKER_05

And before Brother Pat closes us out, Bobby, is there anything you want to say last? What's what's something you want to leave with all of us?

SPEAKER_07

I just want you, I want everyone to know that I love all of you guys. I'm really hoping I can come back in July in uh September or uh August. Um I'm really wanting to come. You guys are like my family. I've been following you for over a year. Um and all I can say is keep the faith and trust God and He'll get us through it.

SPEAKER_05

That's awesome, sister. And we're gonna we definitely gonna make sure that happens uh in August. So if I gotta come out there and come out here and pick you up on my bicycle, I'm gonna come out there and get you.

SPEAKER_07

Well, I'm trying to talk Bill into coming, but if he don't, I might have to just come me and Vanessa.

SPEAKER_05

So well, tell Bill to come out, come, come, tell Bill to come out there. I'm gonna have to come out there and persuade him too.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, the problem is, Bobby, you're giving him a choice. That that's the problem. Yeah, never give a man a choice.

Final Encouragement And Closing Prayer

SPEAKER_07

Oh, he gets upset because I gotta be home to watch Jonathan.

SPEAKER_05

Well, you tell me you can't miss John. That's beautiful. I love that. Well, Brother Pat, close us out, brother, if you would. I really appreciate it.

SPEAKER_02

All right, let's join in prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for your many blessings that you bestow upon us. And Lord, today in particular, we thank you for the gift of this beloved sister, Lord. We thank you for the wonders that you've done in her work in her life and the works that you have done in her life, that you have sustained her and brought her through trial and tribulation, Lord, that you've carried her through the fire, Lord. And we thank you, God, for the precious person that she is in the body of Christ and how she blesses us every day, Lord. We thank you for all the lessons that can be learned from her testimony, Lord, the many jewels that that we can um gain wisdom from, Lord, and that we can apply to our own life. We thank you so much, Lord. We pray that you continue to edify your body, Lord, and use us to grow your body, Lord. We pray that we are used to extend your kingdom and grow your kingdom and bring many more brothers and sisters, precious brothers and sisters like Sister Bobby, unto you, Lord. We thank you in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Amen.

SPEAKER_07

SPEAKER_05

Thank you, Sister Bobby, for that for that testimony. Yeah, that's a that's a that's a tough one to listen to. It's a good one.

SPEAKER_07

Um, I didn't want to bore you with the book, but you know, that was that's my that's that's my testimony, really. I mean, I couldn't I couldn't put it in words if I didn't read it.

SPEAKER_05

So well, it was a good one, and I'm glad that you that that you were willing to give it. And uh we look forward to hearing a lot more from you in the future going forward. I'm gonna have to get you up on the panel one of these days just to come up here and just hang out with us. Well, now you know what to do, so you gotta come up here now.

SPEAKER_07

My husband says, so Vanessa graduated to the Hollywood Squares.

SPEAKER_05

SPEAKER_02

We know what it is.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, exactly. Some people are probably like, what is the Hollywood Squares? I know exactly what that means. Oh, that's funny. That's hilarious. But uh, well, see, he if he has that kind of sense of humor, you definitely need to bring him down there in August, but you know, but uh look forward to that. But anyway, I'm trying. It's been a tremendous blessing, sister. We thank you so much for your testimony and look forward, look forward to continuing being a part of your family. You've been a part of mine, and all of us being part of the same family. So God bless you and God bless everybody who's with us tonight. And look forward to God bless you. I love you all.
