The Bible Provocateur
BibleProvocateur is a podcast that refuses to let Scripture be tamed, sentimentalized, or softened for modern comfort. Here, the Bible is allowed to confront, unsettle, and provoke—just as it always has. Drawing deeply from Reformed theology, church history, and careful exegesis, this podcast presses hard questions about grace, law, repentance, faith, judgment, and the sovereignty of God.
Each episode engages Scripture with historical depth and theological honesty, interacting with Reformers, Puritans, and classic commentators while challenging popular assumptions in contemporary Christianity. This is not reactionary outrage or shallow controversy—it’s principled provocation, aimed at exposing error, sharpening doctrine, and calling the church back to a robust, God-centered faith.
If you’re tired of devotional fluff, allergic to theological clichés, and convinced the Bible still has the authority to offend before it comforts, BibleProvocateur is for you. Come ready to think carefully, repent deeply, and worship a God who refuses to be domesticated.

You didn’t get a vote on when you’d be born, what you’d look like, or what your natural strengths would be and that reality should change how we talk about faith. We sit with a humbling claim: when it comes to salvation, we bring nothing God needs. Not our talent, not our Bible trivia, not our moral track record. The gospel starts with an infinite God and ends with us receiving grace with empty hands.
From there, we follow the thread through Scripture and some of the most debated corners of Christian theology. Why do angels tell people to get up and refuse worship? What does that say about how we view God’s holiness and our posture before him? We dig into God’s sovereignty, monergism vs synergism, and why starting with man’s will can subtly produce a different gospel than starting with God’s purpose. We also talk about why conversations about the law, predestination, and election can spark heat, and how to speak truth with words “seasoned with grace” without watering down what the Bible says.
The book of Job brings it all into real life. Job doesn’t know the behind-the-scenes story, yet he holds his ground through suffering, spiritual warfare, and the temptation to assume pain always equals punishment. We close by contrasting knowledge vs wisdom, why wisdom comes from above through the Holy Spirit, and why love gives doctrine its direction and purpose. If this helped you breathe deeper and trust God more, subscribe, share it with a friend, and leave a review. What part challenged your assumptions the most?

We Come Empty-Handed
SPEAKER_08There was no conference between us and the Godhead on whether or not we should come, let alone what would be all of our physical attributes, what our mental acumen would be, and our aptitudes and all this kind of stuff. That wasn't what it is. Our abilities, talents, the way we speak, the way we look, we weren't asked any of those things.
SPEAKER_04I wish this live had like a million people in it right now. I feel like there would be unity in the body of Christ. Once people see that each of us have nothing to offer at the end of this, there's nothing. We all come empty-handed. We have nothing to offer Christ because He died for every single bit of it. We come empty-handed. You know, like all the knowledge, everything that you think that you have. I even in when I get when myself, I can only speak for myself, when I get, you know, knowledge and understanding, and then something else happens, it's like I know nothing. We're talking about like an infinite God in our finite brains. Like it it blows me away, brother Jonathan, like the things that people think and the knowledge that gets puffed up and the things that people want to do. Like we're all just trying to get home, man.
Angels Refuse Worship And Why
SPEAKER_08Let me let me let me ask, let me ask, let me ask who who haven't I picked on in a little bit. Let me ask Lisa. Let me ask you a question, sister.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_08When you read the Bible, and every time you've read that some prophet or somebody had an encounter with an angel, what happened?
SPEAKER_01They they fell to the they fell to the ground. They were in fear.
SPEAKER_08They were they fell down into the ground and what did what in most cases, what in all cases did the angel do when that person fell down in front of them? Do not fear. No, but they do they went a step further. Brian, what else?
SPEAKER_04They said their name.
SPEAKER_08No. What did it when somebody bowed down to an angel? What would the angel then tell that person?
SPEAKER_01Well, if it was the angel, he would say I'm a create, I'm created being just like you are. I'm a servant just like you are. If it was the Lord, as the yeah, well, that's a whole like you know right.
SPEAKER_10Well, the reason they said that is because they knew who God was, and they said, Do not worship me because that's right. It's that's that would terrify them. They knew who God was. Get up for goodness sake, don't you bow down to me.
SPEAKER_08But here's but see, and he and brother Brian is right, he's right. But let me let me let me and and somebody, my my brother here is Zunchi, who I'm trying to get up here, but he said the same thing. They would say, I'm just a messenger, I'm not, don't battle and worship me. Even John, when he saw his vision of revelation, the angel said, get up. I'm not the one. But so here, so here's what I'm saying. Here's what I'm saying. Imagine the Holy Spirit coming to you to give you life. He comes to you, and you're gonna say, Nah, I'm not ready at this moment. Are are we really thinking that that is what happens when it comes to our salvation?
SPEAKER_00Hey, hey Jonathan.
SPEAKER_08Go ahead, brother.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna say one last thing, and I'm gonna let God's word, uh, truth, whatever guy, come up.
Can God Save Without Us
SPEAKER_00So it what it really comes down to is it comes down to the sovereignty of God. Always. I think this was the first thing in Calvin's Institute. It was big in the reform, the sovereignty of God. That's where it starts. And if you like James White says, if you start with man and then reason up from there, you have a completely different gospel. You start with God and his purposes and reason down from there, you'll get the gospel. So, what it comes down to is like we're saying, monergism versus synergism. Can God save? I don't know if you guys are aware of those theological terms, but okay, one is that God alone works in salvation, he doesn't need our cooperation to accomplish his purposes. You guys can look them up. Monergism, synergism. You know, so here's a verse I'll end on. Here's a verse I'm gonna end on. And all the inhabitants of the earth are counted as nothing, and he does according to his will in the in the heavens, and among the inhabitants of the earth, and none can stay his hand or say to him, What doest thou? Right. None can say to his hand, What are you doing? He does as he wills. He works all things after the counsel of his will, Ephesians 1.11. That's all things. He is God.
SPEAKER_08He does, brother. And and and the thing, and you're right, because the reality is every God, there is nothing that happens. And I'm a I'm gonna call on you next, Zunch, Zunchy. Everything that happens, everything that happens is completely consistent with the will and design and the pleasure of God. Everything. Now, people have a problem with that. There is nothing that is happenstance, there's nothing that is chance, there is nothing that God desires to do that he won't do. And so the the whole idea is that we have to start by like that brother just got off that just got off said, we have to understand that God is the first cause of all things and he is sovereign in all things, up to and especially when it comes to our salvation. Zunchie, what do you got to say, brother? I know you're trying to I was trying to get you up there. What are you what are your thoughts?
Law Arguments That Cut Out Christ
SPEAKER_06Well, I'm I was still on to the law about how everyone. First of all, I just want to say this has been a very fruitful life, and you're doing a really great job host. So I'm really enjoying this. And I do believe everything that you've said is true, brother. You know, like it's through Christ alone, you know. It's when they when people bicker and argue about the laws, it's like you're cutting out Jesus of what he's done. Right. You know, you you're you're you're saying that you don't have faith in his sacrifice that he has done for you. That's what you're saying. If you're all worried about these laws and this law, you're objectively cutting out the sacrifice that Jesus Christ did for you. And I'll tell you right now, I'm not very well versed in the Bible, I'm still reading it, but I know that because I know I have a good connection to God, and I have been connected to him since I was 14. I still need to read the Bible, I need to get up on that. But um, that's why I come here to learn and and you know, talk to people and learn more.
SPEAKER_08Amen. It's good, man, because what you're saying is 100% right, and and and and the thing about it is what's good about it is that is that you're talking about the the shortness of time that you've been in the that you've been in the Lord and his word. And and I tell you, it's it's it's a good thing to be able to admit because it's not but it's not until people get older in the faith where they start trying to get over deep. So many people they want to be deep. Stop trying to be so deep. So simple, make it keep it simple. You know, I'm not saying ignore complex doctrines and things, but but if you read something like we read in the Bible, like I if you really want to stir something up, talk about predestination. People will lose their minds over that. Calvinists, they'll lose their mind over that. But when I ask them, well, okay, I understand you have a problem with it. And see, you like brother said Calvinist. No, this was predestination before Calvin was even born. The epistle to Romans was written before Calvin was born. Same thing about same thing about Ephesians, same thing about 1 Peter. All these things, but see what what happens is we there's certain things that rub that rub human flesh the wrong way. No one wants God to be in charge.
SPEAKER_04I was just gonna say that. Nobody wants to let God be God.
SPEAKER_08We are idle, we are idle manufacturers. We are factories for idol worship and idol and idolatry, you know, and and most of all, the God that most men worship is their wills. Oh boy, yeah. You know what I say.
SPEAKER_06When if people want the truth, they want to know the truth. You can't have the truth until you accept the Holy Spirit into your soul. You're right. You can't. You can't accept it because you I know so many people that have read the Bible yet, they still go over it and go over it and they can't figure it out. And I say to them, maybe you should go back and open your heart and pray before you open your Bible because you're not receiving the message that God's trying to give to you because your heart is hardened.
SPEAKER_04Amen.
SPEAKER_10Yep, Jonathan.
Job, Trials, And God’s Silence
SPEAKER_10Well yeah, brother. One one quick thing about the book of Job, and this is the reason that that book is actually God gave it to us.
SPEAKER_05Yep.
SPEAKER_10Because we this should humble all of us. Think about who Job was. God said he was a righteous man and all these different things, and he went through. I mean, outside of Jesus, he went through almost everything. But once he gets to the end of that book, and he is actually starting, because all of us would once you go through so much, you're gonna be like, Come on, God, why? You know what I'm saying? Well, I mean, what in the world? So he he is at that point, yeah. But does God answer him? No, he just says, Who are you? Were you there when I created everything?
SPEAKER_04Yep. Chapter 38.
SPEAKER_10It puts us in our place and it puts us right saying, Oh my god, who am I talking to?
SPEAKER_08And you know, and brother, you know what, you know what else was you know what's interesting about that is that we take we take it we take the story of Job for granted because we know what happened. Exactly. Job didn't know what was going on.
SPEAKER_04I I say that all the time, brother Jonathan. I I always tell people that. Go to chapter two and read verse three.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04What did God say about Job before he even entered all this? He deemed him righteous, he was an upright man. Right. But see, we get to see this, and we get to see how the Lord views us when we go through trials and tribulations. This is how he views us.
SPEAKER_08Right.
SPEAKER_04That's so powerful. I'm so glad you said that.
SPEAKER_08It is powerful, and I'm glad Brother Brian brought that up too because because and because what you what you said, Meg goes very well with what Brian talked about, because we start out knowing first that Job was righteous. And then we look at everything that follows after that, all the tragedy and and and calamity that he underwent, right? And we know that it was all ordered by God. He told, go ahead. He told, he gave Satan leave, he gave him permission, go do it. Go do it. Only you can't take his life. So it's easy to understand how his four miserable comforters started coming to him with conclusions that Job was going through what he was going through because of sin in his life. How many times in your life have you gone through hard times where you think that you're going that you've and I have too, where things are happening so bad, coming so fast and furious, you are thinking as a Christian, God is punishing you for something.
SPEAKER_06I see it as I say like the book of Job, it also teaches us about spiritual warfare, and that's this is something that is not really preached about very often. And I I always talk about spiritual warfare because it is a topic that isn't talked about. And you know, when all these bad things are happening, you can't always blame God for it, man. It's coming from something else as well, you know, depending on where you you're right, but it but in Job's case, there was no fault.
SPEAKER_08He was an upright man. And in fact, it says that in all the things that Job went through, and here's where his warfare, brother, like you're talking about Zunch, this is where his warfare was, is that in spite of all that he went through, in spite of all that he went through, it says that he never charged God foolishly. He never charged him foolishly. In other words, that he knew where he stood with God. And he said, I think it was in chapter 19, verse 25, where he says, where he says, I know that I'm gonna be, he's gonna be raised when his redeemer returns. And he's gonna see him, he said he's gonna see his redeemer in his flesh. Job was the earliest person in the scripture to know something about resurrection.
SPEAKER_04And it was the first book written in the Bible.
SPEAKER_08It's the oldest. It goes back to the oldest time. But Job says, I know my Redeemer lives, and that he's gonna stand on the earth, and I'm gonna stand and be in the same likeness as he is. Now think about that for a second. So you have people that will tell me that there was no salvation, there was no grace. Like I have there's a there's a guy that I talk to a lot on on here. He's he tells me to leave and he tells me, I don't, I don't know what I'm talking about, I'm lost, I don't know the word of God, because he says that there's no way that old testament Christians, Old Testament believers were saved.
unknownCrazy.
SPEAKER_08This is this is his whole this is his whole thing.
SPEAKER_04They they were not saved, you know, and I'm like, you know, could you imagine being the vessel Moses was, or the vessel David was, or the vessel Joseph was? We're not even close to that. Not even close.
SPEAKER_08Not me. I certainly don't feel that way.
SPEAKER_10It's it's just foolishness, but something that encourages us is even at the end of the book of Job, when we all go through trials and tribulations and things, because all of us hit that point where we go, why God? Right.
SPEAKER_02We all do that. Yep.
SPEAKER_10This this is how awesome God is and how he works. The trials that he put Job through, not only did he bring everything back to him, but what did he tell Job's friends at the end of that? He said, You need to go to Job and have him pray for you. Why did he say that? Because through the trials, God actually lifts us up and gives us authority because we have gone through something. Story of Joseph. Story with so many in the Bible. That's how God works.
SPEAKER_08Absolutely. Let me let me see. Uh I don't know this person's name, but uh, I know you're here. I want to give you a chance to speak. MN Ona. Man on a man on a mission. Man on a mission. Okay, I got it now. I see it now.
SPEAKER_07So sorry, I I neglected to now we're talking about Job, and Meg correctly reminded us that Job is the oldest book.
Before The Law And Walking With God
SPEAKER_07And I believe that would also put us in the mindset that he was before the law. Right. Now get this. Who is a greater witness for God? One that walks correctly with God without the law or one that walks after the law? That's a good question. Let me think about that. That's why Enoch is going to be one of the two witnesses, among other things, because he's going to be one of those great men, so great that he walked with God before the law was even written down, and God took him. He took Elijah too, though. That's right. Because he's the prophets. You can't do anything without the prophets. You need a representative of the prophets. But Enoch is the one that can go all the way back and say, I just loved God. Right. I had a child, and after that, everything just clicked and I walked with God. And it was such a great relationship. Nobody even wrote anything about me, but somebody found out God took me.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, he did. I I'll I will challenge you another day on the two witnesses part, but I hear what you're saying now. I get what you're saying. And it makes a lot of sense because I think I think that like Brian said earlier, like this, this really like I've set out to go one direction with this whole thing, and naturally it had to go in a different different direction, which ended up being about the gospel. And to me, when it comes to the gospel, nothing that we could talk about in the Bible trumps that. Nothing. Nothing trumps that.
SPEAKER_04I just think there's a lot of things that need to be understood. And I really feel like this was a Holy Spirit moment tonight. Like it was really good. It's really edifying.
SPEAKER_05And it's Nicole's fault, too.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I we love you for it, Nicole. Thank you for leading us this direction.
SPEAKER_07It's not my fault.
Speaking Truth With Grace
SPEAKER_07If I just say one other thing, I was in a live earlier of my own, and a couple of the guys were getting into talking about a lot of sins and how you would look at things and that. And I was reminded of one thing that really is important is that when we're talking about those things, it could be interpreted and seen even by Christians and non-Christians as being very judgmental and harsh and all that. And it's what I think we're doing here right now is what the scripture says let your let your words be seasoned with grace. And when we when we even talk about things that are hard to talk about, but you can tell if they're seasoned with grace, you're looking at yourself and you're saying, you know what? I'm no better than anybody else. I could get messed up just like that, too.
SPEAKER_08Right. I totally agree with that. But I but I also on the flip side, I will say this. You can take something, you I mentioned it earlier. You can take something like we talked about earlier about predestination or un or God's unconditional election. I can come to you with the most gentle speaking voice possible. I can be as calm and as low-key as possible with the average person. There is no soft way of making that come out any other way than in terms of how it impacts people. Certain things that you that you that you say to people in the most humble of spirits, and some and people are just gonna hate what you are what they are hearing. Think about it. They hated Christ. That's right. It says grace, grace was poured into his lips, and they hated what he said. And he said, if they hated me, guess what? They're gonna hate you too. They're gonna hate you too. And what all I'm saying is that yes, we do need to have a a right spirit when we deal with certain things. But and that and that comes from us genuinely being concerned about how somebody sees the truth and that they see the truth instead of speaking to people just because we want to be heard, or just because we want to be right, or just because we want them to be wrong. But if if so the real spirit of the matter comes in if we are sincere about them coming to know Christ the way we do, we do.
SPEAKER_04I think that's the zeal that comes with it. You know what I mean? It's just like when one is confident and what they know, see the believer eventually becomes the knower. And so when someone is confident and we and the boldness is given to the vessel, right? You walk in that, and that is that is a place that Matthew talked about in chapter seven, where our the foundation that we are built on is the rock of Jesus Christ.
SPEAKER_05Right.
SPEAKER_04That foundation cannot be moved. It is it is immovable, right? But what what are the bricks is the things that we learn that we add in in the knowledge and understanding that builds this house that is on the foundation of Jesus Christ. You come to a point in your faith walk right where it's like you may be able to be moved, but I cannot be shaken, and I will stand even if it's by myself for the glory of God. And that's where we have to be.
Knowledge, Wisdom, And Love
SPEAKER_01May I say something real quick, Jonathan?
SPEAKER_05Absolutely. Go ahead, sister.
SPEAKER_01I heard this today and it stuck with me, and I think it's so good, and I hope it blesses you guys that not. Knowledge. The difference between knowledge and wisdom is that knowledge would be horizontal. We can read it, we we can we can learn what it says carnally, but wisdom comes from above. So those things, it's the wisdom of God that we want, we that we pray for, that we seek in you know, through the spirit. But I just thought that was the coolest thing because how many people can just recite the Bible front to back, blah, blah, blah. They know, but they don't know God. They don't know his character, they don't know his sovereignty. And it's, I think the wisdom is what we're searching for in all of this, you know, given by the Spirit Himself. Do you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, exactly, Lisa. That's why I said that if you don't have God, the Holy Spirit in your heart, you're not gonna get the message that God's trying to give you. You know, it's what does the Bible say? Those who have an ear, let them hear. Many of these people don't have ears to hear, right? And they will never receive the truth because they're not ready to accept it.
SPEAKER_08Right. It's so it's so true. And and to add on to what Lisa was saying, wisdom is also what happens with wisdom has a lot to do with your experience. You know, having you know, and and and applying what you have been taught by the Holy Spirit, applying it in your life. And then you just so you so wisdom is something that is always being developed in us. So every day, there's there's some aspect about us that is growing in the in the grace of God, and and we have to keep going, we have to stay faithful in order to keep growing. But so that's a good point that she made.
SPEAKER_04And I think what's even better than that, I wanted to even add to what Lisa said even more. So when when the Lord, when God was talking to Solomon, and he asked him, What do you want? You want kingdoms, you want riches, whatever you want. I'll give it to you. He said, No. He says, I want wisdom. But see, what people failed to others to understand is God gave Solomon God's wisdom. It was nothing of Solomon, it was God's wisdom in Solomon that then gave him riches, that then gave him kingdoms, because the knowledge that we have is not our own. It is God's.
SPEAKER_08But he now let me ask you a question, Meg. Why did he ask, why did he ask, why did Solomon ask for for wisdom? What what what was he asking God for? What did he ask him for?
SPEAKER_04He was asked, he was asking him for wisdom. To do what?
SPEAKER_07May I answer?
SPEAKER_04Go ahead.
SPEAKER_07Go ahead. He was young. He wanted to rule his people correctly for God. Yes. That's exactly right. He wanted there's one more component that we're, I don't think we're missing, but we're just moving on up to it together. You can have knowledge, yes, you need it, but on its own, it puffs up. You can have wisdom. Yes, it's good, it's applied knowledge, but there's one more thing that you need. Love. Love. Love it. Because love is God, and God is love, and that is intent. It's the intent of his heart. Yes, the wisdom, the knowledge, all of that exists because of his love, and that he is good. And when you put the love and the good, the wisdom and the knowledge have purpose and direction. Absolutely. Big grape, are you there, brother?
SPEAKER_08Jerry? Jerry's been quiet tonight. He's probably slightly. He's hibernating on me.
Final Blessings And Closing Prayer
unknownAll right.
SPEAKER_08Well, that being said that being said, I'm going to have to close up. And this is where I come to the night where I want to give everybody the last their last say. So you got your last 30 to 45 seconds. We'll start with Mighty Mitch. What's your last word, brother?
SPEAKER_05Yes, uh, thank you for letting me up again. I enjoyed listening to y'all talk. Uh anytime, brother. Anytime. Yes, I I just pray that God grant us wisdom to understand the righteousness of his purpose.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_08Amen, brother. I really appreciate you, Nicole. Last word, sister.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I was just gonna say whatever. Uh Meg was just speaking about it. I lost my train of thought, but it was to have I was I had it in my head. Come on. And it was talking about going into wisdom and and and knowledge. And it's crazy, like the the fact that we have two eyes, two ears, but one mouth. So just be slow to speak, slow to anger.
SPEAKER_05Absolutely.
SPEAKER_03Slow to slow to that. Because yeah.
SPEAKER_08Somebody, somebody, somebody wrote uh Jake Inwood and said, We never got to talk about the Great Tribulation. Maybe next time. I'm gonna pick that up to I'm gonna pick that up tomorrow. So for sure, I'm gonna get to that, brother. Meg, last word, sister.
SPEAKER_04I I don't know if Big Gravy's sleeping, so I'm just gonna say, trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lead on not your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your path. I think Jerry heard you.
SPEAKER_08I think Jerry heard you, and he's gonna be back because you robbed him.
SPEAKER_04You thought you went to sleep, Brother Gravy. I was representing you well.
SPEAKER_09Uh Jonathan uh earlier today. You know, you know, Meg. Meg Meg wanna ask you something. She's gonna ask you, and she wants to answer.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, she does.
SPEAKER_09We've talked about these very things today, so Meg give me grace, and I gave her grace, and and she said, just answer the question, brother. And I answered, I answered the question, but I I'll be talking to you real soon, Jonathan. Uh, thank God for all of you tonight. And yes, it's about who you trust, and I don't trust in what man has to say. Amen. I trust in the Lord, and and as uh my sister said, not lean out to my own understanding. Amen. When I study with people, I try to move Big Gravy out the way and let the scripture speak to that person. Sister Lisa, last word.
SPEAKER_01Well, I'd just like to say a blessing over you all today. The six or the number six, twenty four through twenty six. And I know I'm gonna mess it up now because I'm because I said I want to say it, but let me try. The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord turn his face towards you and give you peace.
SPEAKER_08Amen. Amen. Brother Brian, last word, my friend. I'm glad you were able to come on too.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, I really appreciate it. I just want to say uh thank you, Brother Johnson, for what you're uh doing and letting God, you know, use you on this platform in this way because we all know there's not there's not many lives that you know through teaching and learning, and it just encourages me so much to hear everybody on here learning and growing. But it all comes back to God, it's just all Him. Even the thing, even as Christians, it says that He pre- He ordained the works before the foundation of the world that we would even walk in those after becoming a believer. Amen. So I just I want to thank all of y'all and keep growing and keep studying. It's it's a blessing. Thank you all.
SPEAKER_08Thanks, brother. I appreciate you coming up. It was I think it was the first time, I think, right? First time. Well, make sure it's not the last, okay? Amen.
SPEAKER_04He's always in the comments, though, brother Brian is always in there. I know, I see him. Yeah, he's awesome.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, I'll always see him. So, like I said, we we, you know, I know him and I are on the same page, so it was it was great to have him up here today for the first time. So I appreciate that. Man on a mission, last word.
SPEAKER_07I just had to bring my mic up.
SPEAKER_05That's okay.
SPEAKER_07I have been through a really rough time. I'm still in it, but you know what? God is loving me through this. Yes. And I mean in ways that are starting to blow me away. And I just gotta say, Lord God, I love the way that you are loving me through my problems, through this trial, and I ask that you keep doing that, and I pray that you continue to love all of us here in that same way, that you love us through our problems, and may your love be shown to other people, and they're gonna want that from you too. Please, Father, continue your love through us and thank you for just shedding your love upon all mankind through your son, Yeshua.
SPEAKER_08Thanks for that good word, brother. And I can tell you this much for sure, and I don't say this lightly, that but before I lay my eyes down to sleep tonight, you're gonna be in my prayers for whatever it is you got going on. I don't need to know what it is, because God knows. So you'll be in my prayers tonight for that. Is it Zunch or Zunchy?
SPEAKER_06Zunche. Zunche. My real name is Zayn, that's my nickname.
SPEAKER_05All right, Zan.
SPEAKER_06I just want to say thank you for letting me up on the live, and I really do resonate with this live, and I really do want to be a part of it. And I think my words to say to everyone is that Jesus is the truth and the way and the life, and no one can come to the Father except through him. Do not trouble yourselves, my brothers and sisters, about all these laws and all these, you know, it all comes down to self-righteousness and it comes down to your works. Your works do not get you into heaven. It's the blood of Jesus Christ. Amen. Amen.
SPEAKER_04I just want to say one verse because I took big gravies, but I think it's very important to remember that God said, I will put my spirit in you and cause you to walk in my ways.
SPEAKER_08I like that part and cause you to walk in my ways. Amen. Amen. So I'm here's my last my last word. I'm gonna read uh 1 Peter. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again with a lively hope through the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, to an inheritance that is incorruptible, undefiled, that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept, kept by the power of God through faith for salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time. Hallelujah. And to be to be kept by the power of God, you have to ask yourself, kept to what end? Your salvation is wrapped up in Him keeping it for you by His power. Because if it weren't for His power, we would not have the power to sustain ourselves in this great salvation that's been given to us.
SPEAKER_04Amen.
SPEAKER_08Impossible.
SPEAKER_04Amen.
SPEAKER_08Amen. That being said, praise brother.
SPEAKER_04And if that doesn't give you peace, I don't know what will. Amen.
SPEAKER_08Be provoked and be persuaded. May God bless all of you, my brother and sisters and sisters in Christ. God bless you guys tonight until tomorrow night.
SPEAKER_04Bye, brother Jonathan. See you tomorrow, guys. All right.
