Find That Time To Renew & Recharge - Good For The Soul - Podcast #29
Show Notes
Great couple of days getting away - my wife and I continued her 50th birthday celebration with a few days "Up North" here in Michigan. We went to Traverse City and its a favorite spot of mine and our family - 20 or so years of going up to that Northern part of Michigan - (look it up on a map if you need to... great place... highly recommended). That place is good for my soul - there is the family history of going up there with my wife's family - 20 or so of us over the years - poker games, swimming, golf with my brother-in-law Jim, great food, wine tasting, the casino (for those that were inclined) - just a fantastic part of our lives. I was planning on having a show on this - finding things that are good for your soul - that renew & recharge... it's a must in our lives as far as I'm concerned. Then today, I listened to my buddy Ozzy Eyre - and he was talking about how great it was meeting a couple of his boy-hood heroes from the track & field world. Super show - a must listen to... it's titled "When's My Time" Find it and make sure you take some time to listen to him... great stuff. He brought up the some of the same ideas - recharging, unplugging from our regular daily schedule to find those things that connect to our souls, our past, things that connect us to the relationships in our lives that are important to us. Loved his message - connected to mine a deep & impactfull way today. Remember - please leave a 5 Star rating wherever you can - this helps more people to connect to this message - and on my Facebook page "Coach To Expect Success" - I will be having a FB live book discussion on Thursday, August 31 at 4 pm. Would love to see you stop by if you can to chat about "On Fire" - my new all - time favorite book by John O'Leary. Keep in touch regardless and let me know what you are thinking about my podcasts, my page, your questions, ideas, etc.
