Luisa writes,

After waiting and waiting, my sweet Jesus made Himself seen within my heart.  I seemed to see a sun spreading its rays, and in looking into the center of this sun, I could see the face of Our Lord.  But that which amazed me was seeing many maidens clothed in white within my heart, with crowns on their heads, surrounding this divine Sun and nourishing themselves with the rays which this Sun was spreading.  Oh, how beautiful they were! – modest, humble, all intent on Jesus, and delighting in Him!  Not knowing the meaning of this, with a little bit of concern I asked Jesus to let me know who those maidens were; and Jesus told me:  “These maidens were your passions, which now, by my grace, I have changed into as many virtues, which form my noble cortege, remaining all at my disposal.  And I, as recompense, keep nourishing them with my continuous grace.”  Ah, Lord, yet, I feel I am so bad that I am ashamed of myself!

Welcome. This is David Russell and Your Faith Anew, Daily Reflections Guiding You to Live in the Divine Will. Today's reflection is from the Book of Heaven by the servant of God Luisa Picaretta, april first, nineteen hundred, volume three. Let us begin in the will and name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Heavenly Father, in your divine will, transform all that is disordered within us into virtue. Take our passions, weaknesses, and struggles, and by your grace make them instruments of holiness. May we remain centered in you, nourished by your light and sustained by your presence. Amen. Saint Paul writes in the letter to the Romans chapter twelve verse two. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches in paragraph eighteen oh four The human virtues are firm attitudes, stable dispositions, habitual perfections of intellect and will that govern our actions, order our passions, and guide our conduct according to reason and faith. In this light, we now enter into the mystery revealed to Louisa, where even the passions, once disordered, are transformed by grace into a radiant crown of virtues in the presence of Jesus. Louisa writes After waiting and waiting, my sweet Jesus made himself seen within my heart. Oh how beautiful they were modest, humble, all intent on Jesus and delighting in him. Not knowing the meaning of this, with a little bit of concern I asked Jesus to let me know who those maidens were, and Jesus told me, These maidens were your passions, which now, by my grace, have changed into as many virtues which form my noble courtiage, remaining all at my disposal, and I, as recompense, keep nourishing them with my continuous grace. Ah Lord, yet I feel I'm so bad that I'm ashamed of myself. This beautiful vision reveals the power of divine grace. What once were passions, often sources of weakness, are transformed into virtues through union with Jesus. In the divine will, nothing is wasted. Even our struggles become material for sanctity. Jesus does not merely suppress our passions, he transforms them. The image of maidens clothed in white shows purity restored, crowned, and ordered around him. This is what grace does. It elevates, purifies, and beautifies the soul. Living in the divine will means allowing Jesus to reign at the center of our hearts like the radiant sun. From him flows the light that nourishes every virtue. Even when we feel unworthy, like Louisa, grace continues to work. Our role is to remain open, surrendered, and attentive to Him. Let us pray. Jesus, radiant Son of my soul, transform all that is within me. Take my disordered passions and make them virtues that glorify you. Clothe my soul in purity, humility, and love. Let every part of me be ordered around your presence. May I live always in your divine will, nourished by your grace and sustained by your light. Even in my weakness, I trust in your transforming power. Amen. Thank you for joining your faith anew today. Remember, in the divine will, even your weaknesses can be transformed into radiant virtues. Until tomorrow, stay in his will, and your faith will be made anew.
