"Your Faith Anew!"
Your Faith Anew! exists to help souls grow in their knowledge of the Catholic Faith, strive to remain in a state of grace, and encounter the transforming joy of the Gospel. Its mission is simple yet eternal: to save souls, glorify God, and become saints.
Hosted by David Russell, this daily reflection podcast draws deeply from Sacred Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the writings of the Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta—especially The Book of Heaven—guiding listeners into a deeper understanding of living in the Divine Will.
David is the author of four spiritually rich works: Magi Theology: The Essence of Illusion, The Little Magician – Discovers Bigger and Better, Our Pilgrimage with the Pilgrim Virgin, and his newest release, Our Mother in the Divine Will. With a lifelong fascination for the mystical, David discovered a profound connection between the art of illusion and deeper spiritual realities—an insight that inspired both his theological and children’s writings. His work Magi Theology received both the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur from the Diocese of Knoxville.
In 2010, David was introduced to the writings of Luisa Piccarreta, which deeply resonated with his own spiritual insights. This encounter helped shape the foundation of his ministry.
In 2017, he founded the Your Faith Anew! prayer and study group to help Catholics rediscover and fall in love with their Faith. At the heart of his message is this conviction:
“The Catholic Faith prepares us to receive the Gift of Living in the Divine Will—and this Gift enables us to live our Faith in a divine manner most pleasing to God.”
Join us daily as we seek not only to understand our Faith—but to live it fully, joyfully, and in union with the Divine Will.

Luisa writes,
I continue in my most bitter state of privation; at the most, He makes Himself seen taciturn and for short instants. This morning, since the confessor committed himself to making Him come, as I lost consciousness He made Himself seen for a little, and almost by force; and turning to the confessor, with a serious and afflicted aspect, He said to Him: “What do you want?” Father seemed to be confused and was unable to say anything, so I said: ‘Lord, maybe it is that thing about Mass that he wants.’ And the Lord said to him: “Dispose yourself and you will have it. Besides, you have the victim; the closer you remain to her with your thought and with your intention, the stronger and freer you will feel to be able to do what you want.’ Then I said: ‘Lord, how is it that You are not coming?’ And He added: “Do you want to hear something? Hear it.” And at that moment many cries of voices from all over the world could be heard saying: “Death to the Pope… destruction of religion… churches torn down… destruction of every dominion… No one must exist above us!” And many other satanic voices, which it seems useless to me to repeat. Then our Lord added: “My daughter, when man disposes himself to good, he receives good; and if he disposes himself to evil, he receives evil. All these voices you hear reach my throne - and not once, but repeated times; and when my Justice sees that man not only wants evil, but he asks for it with repeated petitions, with justice is It forced to concede it, to make them know the evil they wanted. In fact, one can truly know evil only when he finds himself in it. This is the reason why my Justice keeps looking for voids in order to punish man. However, the time of your suspension has not yet come; at the most, a few days for now, so that Justice may press Its hand down on man a little bit, for It can no longer bear the weight of such enormities; and at the same time, so as to make man’s forehead, raised too high, lower down.

SPEAKER_00Welcome. This is David Russell and Your Faith Anew. Daily Reflections guiding you to live in the divine will. Today's reflection is from the Book of Heaven by the servant of God Louisa Picaretta, May eighth, nineteen oh three, volume five. Let us begin in the will and name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Heavenly Father, in your divine will, you reveal both mercy and justice, calling souls to return to their created order. Open our hearts today to understand the consequences of our choices and the beauty of surrender to your will. May we choose good, desire good, and live in the unity of your divine love. Amen. Saint Paul writes in the letter to the Galatians chapter six verses seven and eight. Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows that he will also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the spirit will from the spirit reap eternal life. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches in paragraphs seventeen thirty nine The freedom of man is finite and fallible. In fact, man failed. He freely sinned. By refusing God's plan of love, he deceived himself and became a slave to sin. This first alienation engendered a multitude of others. The history of humanity from its origins attests the wretchedness and oppression born of the human heart in consequence of the abuse of freedom. Before we enter into today's reading, we're reminded that human freedom carries real consequences. When we align with God's will, we receive life. When we persistently choose against it, we experience the weight of that choice. This prepares us to understand the gravity of what Jesus reveals to Louisa. Louisa writes I continue in my most bitter state of privation. At the most, he makes himself seen tacaturn and for short instants. This morning, since the confessor committed himself to making him come as I lost consciousness, he made himself seen for a little, and almost by force. And turning to the confessor with a serious and afflicted aspect, he said to him, What do you want? Father seemed to be confused and was unable to say anything, so I said, Lord, maybe it is that thing about mass that he wants. And the Lord said to him, Dispose yourself and you will have it. Besides, you have the victim. The closer you remain to her with your thought and with your intention, the stronger and freer you will feel to be able to do what you want. Then I said, Lord, how is it that you are not coming? And he added, Do you want to hear something? Hear it. And at that moment many cries of voices from all over the world could be heard saying Death to the Pope Destruction of religion churches torn down destruction of every dominion no one must exist above us and many other satanic voices which it seems useless to me to repeat. Then our Lord added, My daughter, when man disposes himself to good, he receives good, and if he disposes himself to evil, he receives evil. All these voices you hear reach my throne, and not once, but repeated times. And when my justice sees that man not only wants evil, but he asks for it with repeated petitions, with justice it is forced to concede it, to make them know the evil they wanted. In fact, one can truly know evil only when he finds himself in it. This is the reason why my justice keeps looking for voids in order to punish man. However, the time of your suspension has not yet come. At the most, a few days for now, so that justice may press its hand down on man a little bit, for it can no longer bear the weight of such enormities, and at the same time so as to make man's forehead raised too high lower down. This passage is a wake up call. Jesus reveals a significant truth about human freedom. What we desire we eventually receive. Not because God delights in punishment, but because he respects the freedom he has given us. Notice the key phrase When man disposes himself to good, he receives good, and if he disposes himself to evil, he receives evil. This is the law of spiritual disposition. In the divine will, our smallest intentions matter. When we turn toward God even in weakness, we open ourselves to grace. But when humanity collectively turns away, repeatedly, insistently, even demanding evil, justice responds not as vengeance, but as permission. God allows man to experience the consequences of his choices so that he may come to know truth through experience. This is why living in the divine will is so urgent. It's not merely about personal holiness, it's participation in restoring order. Each act done in the divine will becomes a countervoice to the cries of rebellion. Where the world cries, We will not serve. The soul in the divine will whispers fiat. And that fiat has power. It consoles the heart of God. It holds back justice. It restores balance. Jesus also reveals something deeply personal. Even in times of darkness, privation, and silence, his work continues. The soul is still participating, still offering, still acting within his will, even when she does not feel him.
SPEAKER_01Let us pray.
SPEAKER_00O divine will, eternal light of God, I place my will within yours. Where the world rebels, let me surrender. Where voices cry out in pride, let my soul echo humility. Jesus, you have shown that every desire carries weight before heaven. Purify my desires. Transform my intentions. Let me desire only what you desire. In every thought, word, and action, may I choose good. May I choose you. When I do not feel your presence, remind me that you're still working, still forming, still receiving my acts in your divine will. Let my life become a silent reparation, a hidden fiat, a constant yes that rises to your throne. May your justice be tempered by mercy through the offering of my life united to yours.
SPEAKER_01Amen. Thank you for joining your faith anew today.
SPEAKER_00Let's remember that every choice we make shapes our eternal destiny. In the divine will, even the smallest act becomes powerful beyond measure. Let us choose well, desire well, and live fully united to God's will. Until tomorrow, stay in His will, and your faith will be made anew.
