"Your Faith Anew!"
Your Faith Anew! exists to help souls grow in their knowledge of the Catholic Faith, strive to remain in a state of grace, and encounter the transforming joy of the Gospel. Its mission is simple yet eternal: to save souls, glorify God, and become saints.
Hosted by David Russell, this daily reflection podcast draws deeply from Sacred Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the writings of the Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta—especially The Book of Heaven—guiding listeners into a deeper understanding of living in the Divine Will.
David is the author of four spiritually rich works: Magi Theology: The Essence of Illusion, The Little Magician – Discovers Bigger and Better, Our Pilgrimage with the Pilgrim Virgin, and his newest release, Our Mother in the Divine Will. With a lifelong fascination for the mystical, David discovered a profound connection between the art of illusion and deeper spiritual realities—an insight that inspired both his theological and children’s writings. His work Magi Theology received both the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur from the Diocese of Knoxville.
In 2010, David was introduced to the writings of Luisa Piccarreta, which deeply resonated with his own spiritual insights. This encounter helped shape the foundation of his ministry.
In 2017, he founded the Your Faith Anew! prayer and study group to help Catholics rediscover and fall in love with their Faith. At the heart of his message is this conviction:
“The Catholic Faith prepares us to receive the Gift of Living in the Divine Will—and this Gift enables us to live our Faith in a divine manner most pleasing to God.”
Join us daily as we seek not only to understand our Faith—but to live it fully, joyfully, and in union with the Divine Will.

Luisa writes,
“As I was in my usual state, I saw my adorable Jesus for just a little, who said to me: “Peace puts all passions in their place, but what triumphs over everything, establishes all the good in the soul and sanctifies everything, is to do everything for God - that is, to operate with the upright intention of pleasing God alone. An upright operating is what directs, dominates and rectifies the virtues themselves, and even obedience. In sum, it is like a conductor who directs the spiritual music of the soul.” Having said this, He disappeared like a flash.”

SPEAKER_00Welcome. This is David Russell and Your Faith Anew. Daily Reflections Guiding You to Live in the Divine Will. Today's reflection is from the Book of Heaven by the servant of God Louisa Picaretta, may eleventh, nineteen oh three, volume five. Let us begin in the will and name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Lord Jesus, place within our hearts the peace that orders every passion and every desire according to your divine will. Purify our intentions so that all we do may be done for love of you alone. Teach us to seek neither praise nor recognition, but only the joy of pleasing you. May every thought, word, and action become a harmonious offering that glorifies heaven and sanctifies our souls. Amen. Saint Paul writes in his first letter to the Corinthians chapter ten verse thirty one. So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches in paragraph seventeen fifty two. In contrast to the object, the intention resides in the acting subject, because it lies at the voluntary source of an action and determines it by its end. Intention is an element essential to the moral evaluation of an action. When our intention is directed toward God alone, even the smallest acts become filled with grace and united to his divine will. Jesus invites us today to examine not only what we do, but why we do it. Louisa writes As I was in my usual state, I saw my adorable Jesus for just a little, who said to me peace puts all passions in their place. But what triumphs over everything, establishes all the good in the soul, and sanctifies everything is to do everything for God, that is, to operate with the upright intention of pleasing God alone. An upright operating is what directs, dominates, and rectifies the virtues themselves, and even obedience. In some, it is like a conductor who directs the spiritual music of the soul. Having said this, he disappeared like a flash. Jesus reveals something quite simple, yet spiritually transformative. Holiness is not measured merely by outward actions, but by the intention hidden within them. A soul may perform many virtuous acts, but if those acts seek human approval, self-satisfaction, or recognition, they lose much of their spiritual harmony. But when the soul acts only to please God, every action becomes ordered, purified, and sanctified. The Lord compares upright intention to a conductor directing spiritual music. Without a conductor, even gifted musicians can fall into confusion and disorder. In the same way, our virtues can become disordered when they are not guided by a pure intention toward God. Prayer, sacrifice, obedience, charity, and even good works can subtly become centered on self instead of the Lord. Living in the divine will calls us into this continual purification of intention. Before each action we can simply say, Jesus, I do this for love of you alone. That little act transforms ordinary duties into eternal acts united to heaven, washing dishes, speaking kindly, enduring suffering patiently or offering hidden sacrifice all become notes in the divine symphony conducted by grace. Peace is an essential in this teaching. Jesus says peace puts all passions in their place. A soul living in agitation and self seeking cannot hear the gentle direction of God, but peace creates order. Peace allows the divine will to reign. Peace quiets the noise of pride and makes room for love. Today, Jesus invites us to examine the hidden motivations of our hearts. Are we seeking God's glory or our own? Are we acting for eternal love or temporary approval? The more our intention becomes pure, the more the divine will takes possession of our acts and transforms them into music pleasing to heaven. Let us pray. Jesus, my highest good, purify the intentions of my heart. Remove every desire for praise, recognition or self glory, and teach me to act only for love of you. May every breath, every prayer, every sacrifice, and every hidden act become united with your divine will. Bring peace to my soul, Lord, so that every passion may be placed in proper order beneath your divine guidance. Conduct the music of my life so that each note may harmonize with heaven. Let my actions no longer belong to me alone, but become eternal acts flowing within your fiat. O divine will, reign in my thoughts, reign in my desires, reign in my words and deeds, transform even the smallest duties of my day into acts of love that glorify the Father. May my entire life become a continual hymn of praise offered for God alone. Mother Mary, Queen of the Divine Will, guide my heart toward perfect purity of intention and teach me to live only for the glory of God. Amen. Thank you for joining your faith anew today. May we strive each day to purify our intentions and offer every action entirely to God. Allow Jesus to direct the music of your life according to his perfect will. Until tomorrow, stay in his will, and your faith will be made anew.
