Your Faith Anew! exists to help souls grow in their knowledge of the Catholic Faith, strive to remain in a state of grace, and encounter the transforming joy of the Gospel. Its mission is simple yet eternal: to save souls, glorify God, and become saints.
Hosted by David Russell, this daily reflection podcast draws deeply from Sacred Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the writings of the Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta—especially The Book of Heaven—guiding listeners into a deeper understanding of living in the Divine Will.
David is the author of four spiritually rich works: Magi Theology: The Essence of Illusion, The Little Magician – Discovers Bigger and Better, Our Pilgrimage with the Pilgrim Virgin, and his newest release, Our Mother in the Divine Will. With a lifelong fascination for the mystical, David discovered a profound connection between the art of illusion and deeper spiritual realities—an insight that inspired both his theological and children’s writings. His work Magi Theology received both the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur from the Diocese of Knoxville.
In 2010, David was introduced to the writings of Luisa Piccarreta, which deeply resonated with his own spiritual insights. This encounter helped shape the foundation of his ministry.
In 2017, he founded the Your Faith Anew! prayer and study group to help Catholics rediscover and fall in love with their Faith. At the heart of his message is this conviction:
“The Catholic Faith prepares us to receive the Gift of Living in the Divine Will—and this Gift enables us to live our Faith in a divine manner most pleasing to God.”

Luisa writes,
It continues almost always in the same way. This time it seemed that in my heart there was Sacramental Jesus, spreading many rays in my interior from the Holy Host. Many threads were coming out of my heart, which intertwined with all those rays of light. It seemed to me that Jesus, with His love, was drawing all of my heart to Himself, and my heart, with those threads, was drawing and binding all of Jesus to remain with me.

SPEAKER_01Welcome. This is David Russell and Your Faith Anew Daily Reflections Guiding You to Live in the Divine Will. Today's reflection is from the Book of Heaven by the servant of God Luisa Picaretta, july eighteenth, eighteen ninety nine, volume two. Let us begin in the will and name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Heavenly Father, in the most holy Eucharist, you give us your Son as our constant companion and abiding presence. Open our hearts to receive His love more deeply, that every thought, desire, and action may become united with His divine will. Draw us ever closer to the heart of Jesus until nothing separates us from His life of love. Amen. A reading from the first letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians, chapter ten verses sixteen to seventeen. The cup of blessing that we bless is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? Because the loaf of bread is one. We, though many, are one body, for we all partake of the one loaf. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches in paragraph thirteen eighty In His Eucharistic presence he remains mysteriously in our midst as the one who loved us and gave himself up for us, and he remains under signs that express and communicate this love. The church and the world have a great need for Eucharistic worship. Jesus awaits us in this sacrament of love. Let us not refuse the time to go to meet Him in adoration, in contemplation full of faith, and open to making amends for the serious offenses and crimes of the world. Let our adoration never cease. Today's passage invites us to contemplate the inseparable bond Jesus desires to establish with every soul. With a ten of hearts, let us now listen to today's passage from the Book of Heaven. It seemed to me that Jesus, with his love, was drawing all of my heart to himself, and my heart, with those threads, was drawing and binding all of Jesus to remain with me. Today's passage is beautifully simple, yet profoundly rich. Louisa describes Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament radiating life from within the Holy Host. From her own heart, countless threads emerge, intertwining with those rays until there is a mutual drawing together. Jesus draws her heart to Himself through love, while her heart lovingly binds him to remain with her. This image reveals something essential about our relationship with Christ. God never forces himself upon us. His love continually shines towards us like rays from the Eucharist, always inviting, always calling, always giving. Yet our response matters. Every act of love, every prayer, every sacrifice, every I love you offered in the divine will becomes another thread reaching toward Him. When we strive to live in the Divine Will, our ordinary actions become extraordinary, because they are united with the eternal action of God Himself. A simple visit to the Blessed Sacrament, a quiet communion, an act of patience, or a hidden sacrifice can become another thread of love binding us ever more closely to Jesus. The more these threads multiply throughout the day, the more our lives remain centered in His presence. Notice too that this bond is mutual. Jesus delights in drawing us to Himself just as much as we desire to remain with Him. He longs to dwell within us more than we often long to receive Him. The divine will is not merely about doing God's will, it is about allowing His own life to flow through us so completely that our hearts and His heart beat together. Perhaps today we can pause several times and renew this loving union before beginning a task. Quietly say, Jesus, I unite this act with yours. After receiving holy communion, remain in silent gratitude, allowing those rays of grace to spread throughout your soul throughout the day. Make little acts of love that become threads connecting every moment to his Eucharistic heart. In time, these countless threads weave together into a life that remains continually with Jesus. That is the beauty of living in the divine will, not simply visiting him occasionally, but remaining united with him in every heartbeat, every breath, and every act of love. Let us pray. Lord Jesus, hidden in the Blessed Sacrament, thank you for never ceasing to draw us with the light of your love. We offer you every thought, word, action, joy, and suffering of this day. We place them into your divine will so that they may become lasting threads of love that unite us ever more perfectly with you. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. Thank you for joining your faith anew today. May every soul you encounter know the love of Christ through your hidden acts of love. Until tomorrow, stay in his will, and your faith will be made anew.
