So , in the last 16 years and the last 160 or so episodes of the Third Growth Option podcast , I have heard a lot of questions around growth . Right , people ask where do I start ? Why is it so complicated ? Is there a process ? Is there a better ? Is there a framework ? Why doesn't somebody make growth easier ? You know what's the worst that can happen how do I mitigate risk ? The first answer is stay curious , right , ask better . I always challenge myself to ask better questions and the only way I can ask better questions is if I remain curious . And we have to remain gritty , right , to commit to growth . Growth is obviously about the future , right , and the future is , you know , not precisely predictable . You know there are certain , you know historical trends that we can predict the future a little bit , but then stuff happens right . So stay curious , be gritty and do lean on process and

Key Growth Frameworks Explained

frameworks . And some of the processes that I lean on and we lean on as RealLand Sherpas , as Expansion Sherpas , is this framework of the third growth option . There's organic growth , internal organic growth , there's acquisition , and then there's the third growth option that's faster than internal organic less , there's acquisition , and then there's the third growth option that's faster than internal organic , less risky than acquisition .

I rely on the one , two , three growth process . I rely on this framework of define , refine scale . If you don't define something first , you're basically doing the old cowboy trick of ready shoot , aim . I believe in ready aim shoot . So I believe in defining something , spending , you know , sort of measure , twice cut once .
