World Peace, Jobless Washer Woman
World Peace is a laundress
With many hungry little bastards back home.
She will take in our dirty laundry
Bleach it sparkling white, raise its colors
As long as we keep the faith.
The only dirty laundry left lying around
Will belong to those who refuse her,
Who risk falling by the wayside, pest-ridden,
Compared to her customers well-pleased with her honest trade.
Say no and your house will stink,
Unsightly to the eye, shunned by others;
And your projects will fail,
And your dreams turn into nightmares,
Whatever you do.
Pay the pennies she asks for,
And your household will sparkle from her touch:
Your children, by good sleep refreshed,
Your servants, proud of their new livery,
Will be glad to serve
