What if civil war broke out, Notes before the second Civil War #6

1)    Fascist American planning reminds me of fever dreams from Mein Kampf, Marxist writings and the Bushido Greater Co-Prosperity Sphere: ruthless, seductively proposed, unworkable and destructive for everyone involved.

2)    Republicans share attitudes of undeserved entitlement, mediocre exceptionalism, fantasy victimhood, insatiable power hunger and escalating brutality. They favor fantasy and petty profit over wisdom and compassion. 

3)    They do not administer progress in the American States they control; they impose a Third World extraction economy to fill their pockets.  Their states rank worst at anything positive, much higher at everything bad. 

4)    Like Putin, Republican Rebels believe their troops will be greeted as liberators. They will be fought to the death and react with Nazi predictability. 

5)    Expect them to enslave, expropriate and exterminate local minorities and their cosmopolitan allies. That will entail guerilla warfare in Republican controlled areas, vast manpower and resource wastage to control rural spaces between the small towns they secure, weakened front-line resistance against Democratic attacks and more recruits for them. 

6)    As in the Confederacy during the first Civil War, regional fears and desires will neutralize Republican demands for local sacrifice. Republican leaders will compete for power and resources more destructively than Nazi Party bosses did. 

7)    Army and Marine Corps troops may violate their oath, the way Rebel West Point graduates did. But well-trained minority enlistees will desert from Republican combat units and cadre Democratic ones quickly. The Republican political taint of the U.S. Navy officer corps is revealed by its professional incompetence  (the Bonhomme Richard fire, inadequate officer training, Destroyer collisions). While the deep water U.S. Navy may place Democratic cities under embargo, those cities may build river flotillas to penetrate into Republican territory. After its 9/11 fail, expect U.S. Air Force bible-thumpers to bomb Democratic civilians for the greater glory of God.

8)    Republican politicians routinely violate their oath of office and no-one seems to care. We will regret not having punished them when we had the chance.

9)    The latest Republican schemes shove Big Government down people’s throat against their will. During Civil War, they will do so at gunpoint.

10) Europe could arm itself and reinforce Democratic forces surprisingly quickly. Compared to it, Russia and China are hollow husks. Anti-American treason will just increase chaos. 

11) Once Republican tin-pots impose Civil War regulations, mass arrests, extraction budgets and gag rules on the communities they highjack, American Libertarians will regret all the beer belly freedoms they scorn today. 

This Civil War will not end soon. It will cause crippling losses, destroy America as a world power. It will take the U.S. centuries to recover from its fascist infection. Too bad! The USA nowadays, minus their nefarious input, would be the strongest nation in world history.
