STOPTIME: Live in the Moment.
A Guided Pause For Guilt, Rest, And Renewal
Let us know what you enjoy about the show!
Heavy week, full schedule, and that quiet tug of guilt for needing a break? Let’s trade performance for presence. We slow down together with gentle breath cues, simple body awareness, and a compassionate question that cuts through noise: what do I need right now? No fixing, no penance—just a soft return to yourself that steadies your nervous system and brings your energy back online.
We start by loosening the body’s armor—dropping the shoulders, unclenching the jaw, softening the belly—so the mind can hear what the heart is saying. From there, we reframe guilt as a signal of strong values rather than proof of failure. If old stories are running the show—be useful, don’t rest, keep everyone happy—we offer fresh permissions: I am allowed to be human. I am allowed to listen to my body. I am allowed to begin again. These mantras land with the breath, creating room for clarity.
A simple visualization anchors the reset: imagine your energy as a shaken snow globe. Thoughts and feelings swirl, then, with slow breathing, they settle. You don’t have to make up for anything or fix everything; the body knows how to rebalance when given space. To close, we choose one nourishing action—water, a walk, silence, a boundary, or a steady breath—and let that be enough. Hand to heart or belly, we seal the practice with a quiet truth: I always have myself to come back to.
If this practice brought you ease, subscribe for more guided resets, share it with a friend who needs gentleness today, and leave a quick review to help others find these moments of calm.
If you are enjoying the show please subscribe, share and review! Word of mouth is incredibly impactful and your support is much appreciated!

Hey there. Today I want to invite you into a gentle reset. Consider this a moment to soften, to return, and to exhale. Maybe you're listening to this on a Sunday, or maybe it's the beginning of your week or the end of a full week, the kind that asks more of you than you realize until everything suddenly becomes quiet. And maybe you're even feeling a little heavy, maybe physically, maybe emotionally, maybe energetically. Sometimes when we indulge more than we mean to in food or in busyness, or in people pleasing, or managing everyone else's mood or experience, sometimes we find ourselves caring more than our share. Maybe there's a trace of guilt that comes with that. Guilt for needing a rest, for wanting space, for not doing, being, or performing in the way that you thought you could or should. So today, we're creating a moment to come home to yourself gently and compassionately, without blame, without judgment, and without the old stories that try to keep you small. Let's begin. Take a slow inhale and an even slower exhale. Let your shoulders drop and your belly soften. Invite your jaw to unclench. If your body feels tight or full or fatigued, just notice it. Awareness is the beginning of every shift. Now bring your attention to the space just beneath your sternum, the center of your chest, and ask yourself softly, What do I need right now?
SPEAKER_00:Not what you needed yesterday.
SPEAKER_01:Let go of what anyone else needs, just you and in this moment, what do I need right now? Take another deep breath here and sigh on the exhale. What do I need right now? Maybe it's ease. Maybe it's quiet.
SPEAKER_00:Maybe it's permission. Maybe it's forgiveness, especially self forgiveness.
SPEAKER_01:What do you need right now? Whatever comes up in this moment, breathe into it. And let it take up a little more space. If guilt is present, acknowledge it. It's not here to shame you. It's here to show you where an expectation, an old belief or inherited story is still running the show. Guilt usually signifies and indicates that you have tremendous values. I am allowed to be human, and I am allowed to listen to my body. I am allowed to begin again. Let your breath deepen as those words settle into your system.
SPEAKER_00:You are human. Listen to your body.
SPEAKER_01:The next moment is a chance to begin again. Now imagine your energy is a snow globe that's been shaken. Thoughts, emotions, conversations, choices all swirling inside. And now slowly everything begins to fall. And the pieces of your experience settle. Your breath slows, your nervous system softens, and you return to yourself.
SPEAKER_00:You don't have to fix anything.
SPEAKER_01:You don't have to make up for anything. Your body knows how to rebalance. Let it do its job.
SPEAKER_00:Your energy knows how to reset. Here's your gentle invitation.
SPEAKER_01:Choose one action today that feels nourishing. Not corrective, not compensatory, but nourishing. It is simply one action that feels nourishing.
SPEAKER_00:A glass of water, a slow walk, a moment of silence, a boundary, a breath. Let that be enough.
SPEAKER_01:As we close, place one hand over your heart or belly wherever your body calls you and whisper quietly.
SPEAKER_00:I always have myself to come back to.
SPEAKER_01:Until next time, be well namaste.
