Doug Peacock was a High School Football Coach for over 30 years.  Although he contributed on a regular basis to his retirement plan, at time for retirement, he was short for retirement income, a lot of red on his chart.  This came as a shock, he said why didn’t someone tell me about this before?  He realized he had done what he was suppose and told to do over his career, yet his retirement income was not what it needed to be.
