137. The Most Important Collaboration Skill for Work & Life

Teri Schmidt

If I told you there was 1 collaboration skill that I think could transform culture and significantly reduce stress in our teams, homes, and communities,  what would you guess it was?

Listening.

I thought I was a really good listener, especially at work.  But after learning more and observing my actions, it turns out I'm not.  And that unseen skill gap has led to a great deal of unnecessary frustration.  How about you?

Just like last week, we're giving you a glimpse into one of the collaboration skills we teach as part of our Learn by Doing (Good) team building experiences.

And this is an important one, particularly with holiday dinner table conversations coming up.
