Lea started her entrepreneurial journey at a young age. She began investing in real estate at 18 and was working in the software industry and with a copier company. After the copier company went bankrupt, she had to figure out a way to support her children as a single mom. With her product and sales knowledge, she started her own copier business and was instantly profitable. After nine months, she sold the company and began working as a business consultant.
In addition to her business knowledge, Lea is also a media expert. She attended film school and was one of eight students in her program to graduate out of a class of 22 students. She has also worked as a TV correspondent and columnist and now hosts her own show on Amazon Prime.
In 2009, while working as a TV correspondent, Lea’s daughter approached her with an idea. She wanted her mom to inspire and empower young women to find their passion. With that idea, Lea started SmartFem Media Group in 2010, and it has been going strong ever since.
SmartFem Media Group is a digital marketing company, magazine and resource hub for the modern businesswoman. Lea offers consulting, marketing and mentoring services so her clients can stay on top of trends and grow their business.
