Fruits of the Spirit, Episode 6: Exuberance About Life
Pastor Carolyn Hetrick of Grace Lutheran Church, State College, Pa continues a series on the fruits of the Spirit found in Galatians 5:22-23 and how Scripture applies our faith in life. Today we focus upon joy, or "Exuberance About Life" as the Message translation frames it. This is more than happiness that we seek. In fact, the joy ,or exuberance that is a gift of the Holy Spirit, comes to us from God who brings it into our lives. Our guest today is Rev. Kevin Shock, Assistant to the Bishop and Director for Evangelical Mission for the Allegheny Synod of the ELCA, who derives great joy from animals, conversations about God's possibility, and kayaking.
Today's music is "Joyful Scottish Dances" played by Laurel Sanders, flute.
