Fruits of the Spirit Episode 5: Compassion of Heart
Pastor Carolyn Hetrick of Grace Lutheran Church, State College, Pa continues a series on the fruits of the Spirit found in Galatians 5:22-23 and how Scripture applies our faith in life. Today we focus upon compassion of heart and our starting point is compassion for one's self, imagining we are in the compassionate gaze of God. When is the last time you spent time with God in that gaze and assurance? How might tending our own inner life help us to pour out that fruit of compassion for others?
