Pocketful of Grace
Without Love Our Actions Mean Nothing
If we don't interpret the Bible from the perspective of being grounded in love, we end up making some false journeys, taking wrong turns. Lots of things we do have mixed motives. Jesus reminds us his motive was always love. In this season of Resurrections, we are invited to see love grounding new life in the resurrected life of Jesus, in the church centered in Christ, and the life into which God will be bring us all to dwell in eternity. Pastor Scott Schul and Pastor Carolyn Hetrick, of Grace Lutheran Church, State College, PA share a prayer and discuss two of thew lessons for the 5th Sunday of Easter:
Acts 11:1-18
Revelation 21:1-6
