Show Notes

Host: Ken Valledy (Partner/Co-founder at Progressive)
Progressive helps organisations unlock and commercialise new growth opportunities more rapidly than their competition and more effectively than traditional innovation programmes.

The Catalysts Podcast focuses on the key benefits of corporates and startups working together and how these partnerships can become a catalyst for change for the future. In each episode we will discuss a key topic area behind these partnerships with either a startup or a senior corporate stakeholder.

In today’s episode, I want to address the topic of Accelerators, with a special focus on Corporate Accelerator Programmes, looking into many areas, including; how they work, what do they deliver (for both corporates and start-ups) and how do they successfully manage the contrasting cultures that are involved etc  To help me in today’s episode, I am really pleased to have as my guests Monica Penagos (Senior Brand Director, Global Brand Building Innovation) and Tash Busby (Senior Brand Director – Brand Strategy & Communication) from Procter and Gamble. Both Tash and Monica are the driving forces behind the renowned Procter and Gamble Signal Accelerator Programme.

In the episode, we discuss many key questions, including; what is the key criteria when it comes to selecting startups for a Corporate Accelerator Programme, what are the key tips and learnings to help startups deliver more successful partnerships with corporate clients and what are the key benefits (both commercially and culturally) that coprorates gain from working with startup companies?
