54. I've Been Let Go From My C-Suite Job
Show Notes

Yup, you read that right. I lost my job and detail what happened in Leap of Fate Pod 54. I was hired 3 months ago to be a Chief Revenue Officer, a c-suite position! First time ever in my career at an early-stage start-up.

On Pod 42, I detailed everything around getting the CRO job off of Clubhouse. It was a high-risk, high reward opportunity.

Unfortunately, it didn't work out for me. After 3 months, I have relieved of my duties as Chief Revenue Officer. I transparently and openly detail everything that happened and why the decision was made. I share what I am doing now to help mentally and physically deal with the fallout. In addition, how I am getting my resume situated to talk about such a short job and how I am starting to apply to new jobs!

The second part of the podcast is a recap of the past 25 podcasts. We crossed the one-year mark of the Leap of Fate Podcast so it was a great time to review each guest, the key themes, and what is in store moving forward!

A tough podcast to create, but to my Leap of Fate fans, I am open and honest with yall. There will be bumps in the road, but how you deal with adversity is what matters. I am in some right now, I'll be alright. But wanted to share the news with yall to show it's not all roses!

Enjoy :)
