In my mental health journey nothing has helped me more than practicing Mindfulness daily. Mindfulness is not a drug or a magic wand, it requires work and daily practice. The benefits however, are life changing and long lasting.
So on this episode I want you to give it a shot by practicing a brief 10 minute Body Scan practice.
A body scan is simply bringing our attention to the body. Shifting our awareness and focus to different parts of the body as we scan from our feet to our head. By mentally scanning your body, you bring awareness to every single part, noticing any aches, pains, tension, or general discomfort. Body scans are a great way to relieve stress and tension, and they help us feel more connected to our own bodies.
