When Fandom Becomes Strategy
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
A small airline perk can tell a big story. When Crunchyroll teams with Delta to stream anime for free in the air, it’s more than seatback entertainment—it’s a signal that fandom has gone fully mainstream. We dig into what that 24-hour window really offers, who it serves, and why the fine print and flaky Wi‑Fi might blunt the promise. More importantly, we track the money: how recent anime box office wins have moved studios, streamers, and brands to chase the audience that shows up and spends.
From there, we stack the deck with live action that actually plans for longevity. Nathan Fillion’s ten-year roadmap for The Rookie shows how setting an exit keeps a series fresh and its lead unboxed. Then we crank up the scale with Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season two, where hints of Kong and Skull Island sharpen the tension between human hubris and Titan territory. If season one shadowed Godzilla through time, season two can stitch Kong’s myth into a wider Monsterverse without losing the ground-shaking payoff fans want.
Film franchises step back into the light with very different stakes. Scream 7 arrives trailing strikes, cast changes, and controversy, yet the core truth remains: Sidney Prescott is the compass. A bloodier Ghostface and returning creative DNA could reset the tone if the script finds a new edge. Meanwhile, The Devil Wears Prada 2 flashes a single elevator and a single “Andy,” asking what ambition and taste look like 19 years later in a feed-driven fashion world. We close on games with Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, eyeing a return to first-person exploration that hints at a broader map. If any Nintendo hero deserves semi-open design, it’s Samus—lonely, precise, and built for worlds that breathe.
If pop culture has a throughline this week, it’s this: scale up without losing the soul. Hit play, ride with us through anime in the skies, kaiju on land, veterans planning their exits, icons sharpening their blades, and a bounty hunter heading back into the dark. Enjoy the sweep, then tell us what you want on the next round table. Subscribe, rate, and share your take so we can bring more of what you love.

Alright, here he is!
Hello and welcome back to the second Emulation, the podcast where we just don't report on pop culture news. We dissect it. I'm Sean, your host, and each week we'll sift through the hype and anime television and film and video games and find genuine articles worth your time. This is actually from an earlier podcast update we had mentioned that we were gonna try to implement some new content, and this is part of that new content where we're gonna call it the round table.
So what I have here is I've selected. Two stories from different pop culture genres, and we're gonna talk about 'em and kind of give you an update. Now, this might be current news or something that's already happened that might fly under the radar, so let's get into it. Well, before we get into it, you know, this is something new that I'm trying, so I want to thank Emily for the intro.
And again, this is part of, uh, one of the podcast updates where we, uh, we stated that we're going to initiate some new content and this. Part of that, and we're gonna see how well it does, you know, if it's something I want to continue doing or not, or if it's even feasible. Just because of just how much content, you know, will myself and the team would have to go through to kind of like find these stories.
But there are systems, systems in place to make it much more easier to pull these stories and figure out. Which ones are worthy of being talked about in the podcast.
Anime News: Crunchyroll and Delta Partnership
So with that, let's get into our first story. We're gonna be focusing on anime starting, going first, right? So let's get into it.
So let's launch into the anime sphere, which has been busy, exceptionally busy, and it feels like the industry is moving at light speed right now. So this first story is going to be Crunchy Row and Delta have partnered together. So what this means is that current trail is gonna bring private. Vibrant world of anime to the skies.
Sky Mile members can log into Delta Sync wifi to unlock exclusive offers to stream control, full and expansive anime catalog for free for 24 hours, no form of payment required. All passengers are invited to discover and enjoy. Fan favorite series and six. On seat back screens, the first of its kind curated CR control experience.
Okay, so this story flew under the radar, but we kind of need to focus more on this, is that you could always watch anime or crunchy roll. On your phones if you downloaded it and you were able to watch off, you know, offline, that was always an option. Sim similar to Netflix, you just needed to have the space on your tablet or phone, whichever you use to watch anime. Now, I find this kind of misleading because again, you are only allowed to watch anime for 24 hours, so your hour's like five out. So your flight, depending on what you're flying to, it's five hours. Now this might be, you know, something that someone who's never watched anime is thinking about diving into.
Actually, lemme correct myself. What does this, who is this for? You know, Delta and CR Row partnering together to offer 24 hours of free anime. I think this is for casual casual watchers or someone who's on the fence about. Watching anime through Crunch Roll and wants to at least dot and get their feet wet.
Now, I think what's kind of misleading or you know, what's not really talked about is that what. Selections are they going to have, because we all know, uh, when we take a flight, the airlines curated entertainment to watch isn't really the best. They're not really updated. They're currently, you know, having a movie that's been out for a year or two for their shows.
And it's just, movies or shows that, that have been out for a while, so nothing really new or what they might considered new. So that's something that I would kind of like want more clarification on. But they do say no payment is required. Now for those understand, like if you already pay for it I don't think this is gonna appeal to you if watch anime on CR or.
Any other platform. I don't think this is gonna appeal to you because again, you might wanna try it out. I'm wondering if it's gonna be like a channel that they have similar to um, the movie offerings where it's like, action, romance. Thriller, crunch Row, anime, and then they'll have a preselection of anime that you can watch.
Now, I'm not sure of within the anime that they have in the catalog, how many episodes are they gonna have license? To, for you to view cause the anime episodes are not that long. So you can get through, hopefully through a whole season of whatever they offer very quickly. Now. With that being said, this is a big move on mainstream corporations now seeing the value of anime and kind of getting in on the action we do.
We've been seeing this pivot from from big corporations who've, for the longest time, want nothing to do with anime. Considered all anime fans like the scum of the Earth. They just, they never gave us any attention and we enjoyed it for the longest time, like it felt very niche. It felt like we were all part like this hidden club, that you just had to be in it from the ground up.
Now there are new people coming to the space who are experiencing anime for the first time, and I'm all here for it. But I, I do have some concerns that now that big corporations like Delta are jumping into the space and now finding, you know, the huge impact that anime has and now trying to market off of it to help bring in sales.
'cause this is a huge marketing for them. This says to them like, Hey, if you're an anime fan, you know, or, or into anime, you can now book with us and watch anime for free. That's what it's telling to me. And now I don't know if that's the route that they were going with, and maybe it is, but Delta understands the corporation of how big anime is to not just pulp culture, but like.
To the dollars behind it. People will spend money. If you go to any anime convention, we spend money on the, on the fandoms that we like, and I feel like they're getting in a. And cashing in on that. Now, if it results in more sales because they have this as an offer, maybe, who knows? But I, myself, being a, uh, not frequent flyer, but who takes who flies on planes, knows how difficult it is for airlines, wifi.
And the struggle that is just trying to connect, you spend a good portion of your flight trying to connect, and then once you are connected, you're able to watch, you know, a few things. That's why I've always pivoted to watching, like downloading stuff offline and having a good catalog that's gonna get me through my flight.
Or bring my switch, make sure I have my switch available, and have some games I wanna play, or a podcast or an audio book. So, I don't know. I am, I'm kind of like torn because. This. Yes, it's a win for us anime fans, but it's also a win for the big corporations because now I feel like they're going to push this to be like, Hey, we are now so associated with this brand crunch rule.
This hopefully produces more sales for them. And maybe it does. I just, I felt like this wasn't talked about a lot. And I wanted to bring it up because, not to mention I'm flying on Delta like within this week, and I'm not sure how soon this is gonna be offered. If it is offered at this moment, then awesome.
I'll be able to test it out and see if it's worth it. And it might be, who knows, but I don't know that. This is like them announcing this partnership is really gonna help them in a way, because I don't see anyone be like, oh my God, Delta T Anime, cool. I'm gonna book with them. Could that, that could be their mindset.
Be like, Hey, we need to tap into this anime crowd consumers, and this will be the offering that we need to get. So we'll see if it like, works in their favor. I doubt it. I don't see it making that big of a difference. Me personally, I'm still going to do what I've always done, you know, download my, my anime offline so I could watch it with no internet connection and I should be fine doing that.
So I feel like. People should do that. But if you do decide to fly Delta, check this out. See if it's if it's worth it. I feel like this might be for, I don't wanna say not the casuals, but someone who's interested and payment was like a barrier for them. And so. Allow them to like maybe watch anime and then see if they really want to like dive deep.
So I feel like this might be like a sampler for someone who's been on the fence for anime and kind of like their way to like get into it, which is a nice idea and good marketing. I just dunno how it's gonna play out.
The Growing Influence of Anime in Mainstream Media
I. And kind of like staying on topic of just how big corporations have just been ignoring anime as a culture as like how influential the fans are to their, you know, their, their fandom is that we're shifting gears a bit and it's, nice to see like how does Crunch Roll keep doing this? You know, Sony's Anime Gamble is paying off in ways Hollywood's see coming. That is a story that is a headline, and with this we're seeing anime movies, outperforming Hollywood budget movies, chain Soloman beats the boss in American theaters in 2025.
And this has a lot to do with just like the fandom itself, anime cells. There's three movies that CR Control has put out that's done very well. You know, the first was Jack the Ball, super superheroes in August, 2022. It made 21.1 million. The second was Demon Slayer, the Infinity Castle earlier this year, which went on to make 132 million and domestic 660 million worldwide.
Like we, we always knew anime was gonna sell, again, this goes back to if you go to any anime convention or any convention and there's an there's anime there, we come out in full force because anime for us holds a place in our heart. I grew up watching anime. I I was there during, uh, the old days where anime can only be watched on Tami, and then if you had to pirate it, you had to pirate it.
But I was part of the two NAMI days. Where you had to wa it was like the earlier simulcast of what simulcast is today, is that you had to wait weekend by weekend to watch anime. And you had to listen to Tom talk about certain aspects, things going on, and just life giving you quotes, but like, that's what it was.
And now seeing that. Anime and not just move in movies is doing well. I love to see a, an IP or something that I grew up watching become so successful and then prove that, you don't have to invest a lot of money into something for it to be, well, it has to be, if the story is good, the action, like if the story is just on par and you from start to finish, people are going to come and watch it, especially for anime.
Now this also goes in saying like. Putting like a beacon and showing outshining Hollywood that these things sell. I. Don't want like a can of worms to open. And now Hollywood is like, you know what? We need to get on this market of just acquiring anime, making live actions, and trying to get part of that market share.
Because there has been a trend in the past where Hollywood has done that and they have destroyed, uh. Many good ips by making a live action. We all know Dragon Ball Rev evolution that is so seared into a lot of people's minds is that when the trailer came out, we were so excited and then we were gonna get a piccolo, and then God knows what happened.
Is that. It felt like they had the Amite Shalon effect that ruined everything. It took very good characters and it just shadow all over 'em. And we've seen that done time and time again is where we see these beloved characters. The beloved ips get taken in by Hollywood. Then people feel they need to rewrite the story, or don't think the story's gonna hit quite as much and try to change stuff and do it their own version or their own vision, and then just fuck everything up.
People are gonna probably say, well, you know, one piece live action is doing very well. I'm like, but that's just one instance after how many Ls? Hollywood has many opportunities to get something right and they just fuck it up. So they, Netflix gets one, gets like what the 20th track crack at it to do something great.
Perfect example, cowboy bebop live action. It was, you know, music everyth just looked right and then. Summers, someone was like, you know what, let's just change it a bit. And it just, it went off the rails. Another death note, there's been Japanese versions of Death Note, the movie and a live action series.
Hollywood decided they wanna do their own with American characters, kind of like, uh, let the right one in and let me in. And they shout all over it. I wanna say though, that William Defoe as REU in that Live Action American version of Death Note was probably the only good thing about that movie. If they get another crack at it, which I don't know if they will, William Defo should be cast as reu.
Like we already know he's good at playing those type of characters. I just want him to have another crack at it and be done. Like he, I feel like he deserves another chance to be in, in an anime ip. But again, that goes to show you. How Hollywood does not respect anime, and I feel like over and over again, animes have to prove to themselves that we deserve to be in this space, in this conversation.
We're so, so long again, we were like. In the shadows, which we were perfectly fine, but now there's a lot of celebrities who are growing up who in interviews are name dropping anime that they watch that it's now becoming mainstream. And I'm okay with that. Just like I just don't want it to be ruined.
And I feel like. This proves that anime makes money with these three films in the last iteration of the Demon Center, Infinian Castle proves that we can, you can make money, these things will sell. And I just don't want Hollywood and American, industry to like jump on this bandwagon and then try to just create their ver, like try to acquire an IP or create their own.
And it just turns out to be slop. So I kind of feel like it's coming, but we're still too far off from that. But we will see.
Television Highlights: Nathan Fillion's 10-Year Plan for 'The Rookie'
Next we're gonna move from the animated world to live action. Let's talk television this week. Not really about trailers or cancellations, but more so the story I've been seeing on the headline is gonna be, you know, Nathan Fillon for his work in the Rookie.
He kind of like talks about how he has a 10 year plan for the show. And I just realized that season Eight's gonna be coming out in January and I didn't know Nathan Ian was, had been playing this character for eight seasons, but he's talked about how much he wants to, you know, once he gets to 10.
10 years, he wants to move it on, you know, kinda like past the baton to someone else who gets to play in this world. Cause we do see, like shows similar to. Actually shows like Grey's Anatomy, where the main character has been at the forefront for so long that you don't see anyone else getting to play in that sandbox.
And I do think it's kind of nice to see, you know, have someone else take the reins or have someone else just be introduced for that character, since his story is done for his character. So it's kind of nice that he's already talking about once, like an exit strategy, once he gets to 10 seasons, and Nathan Fieldman is not, he's known for playing characters on shows that had, long Seasons. I believe Castle was a show that went on for very long and he's pretty used to the cop dramas. So it's kind of interesting to see him be open about it. You know, what his plan is because there are a lot of people who know him from Castle. Like, I have never watched Castle before.
Probably, you know, saw maybe one or two episodes, but it was, I'll have to get into it, but it did kind of give that ask of like Sherlock Hoish in a way, like cop procedural. So we'll see. But yeah, it's uh, you know, him just thinking about his 10 year plan which is nice. I'm kind of excited for season eight.
Hell, it's been eight seasons. I also watched the show. It was pretty good. I think in a sense that's kind of nice to do that. Think of like in advance what your plan is. If the show goes to 10 seasons. 'cause there are a lot of shows that, you know. Perfect example, one would be Arrow. There's not essentially a plan for the character, but you know, uh, the main character who played, uh.
Arrow wanted to end the season after eight. Now, there are some actors who feel like you've told all stories, all the stories, all side quests, all missions about where this character could go, and he decided he wanted to end it. Same thing with, uh, the actor who played the live action flash and the series on cw.
When you're the main character, you know, sometimes. You get to a point where you want to end it, because for those who don't know, if you are a, the main character on a show like the Rookie, you're kinda locked in to that series. It does in a way. Prevent you from doing other projects. Um, because TV does a lot of, you know, there's a lot of that go, goes into it.
And for those who don't know, for some, it's not like they record everything all at once. They do. I think scripts daily, uh. I know like from Smallville, they had something like that where they would record they've had a whole bunch of episodes planned out, and then when they take a break they come back and film.
So it's not like a straight shot. Uh, they would, I guess you would call it stack up on episodes and so you wouldn't know what the next episode would be because there. In the process of writing it and getting that finished in order for them to record. So that's why you see breaks. So things like that.
So you see things like that. So with all everything going on, it's nice to see that Nathan feeling is looking for like life after the show because many characters can get stuck. And they'll only be known for a character. So it's good and bad to kind of like plan and exit. And who knows, like after this we could see other spinoff shows of rookie.
I don't know if there could be at the shows of the rookie, just because like. The story that they really focus on is like very pivotal at a certain point in, I guess the police, police procedural drama that they would just have to maybe pivot to another rookie type character. So we'll see.
Monster Universe: Monarch Legacy of Monsters Season 2
So the next piece of news is gonna be in the Monster Universe, which I'm excited because we are now getting Monarch legacy of Monsters. Season two, it set the premiere on Apple. Now it's going to debut in February 27th, 2026, so next year. But I'm excited because we are going to get some background on Kong and the trailer teases pretty much how, how.
People don't use their better judgment because it's a good example of when told not to go somewhere and this place is off limits. Humans don't listen and they. Push themselves against the grain. And in the teaser we do see that we a surfer who's surfing, who's told that the area he's in is tight territory and he needs to get outta there, doesn't listen, walks up, surfs up to a beach, gets onto the beach, and is immediately swarm by Titans.
Miniature titans, kind of like dogs, size of dogs, and it was attacked and killed. It's like the perfect example of that. And then we pan into, you know, seeing Kong. Now are we gonna get some backstory to this because we, the first season was more focused on Godzilla. Are we getting, like, this one's kind of like focusing on Kong and Skull Island.
Who knows? But it would be nice to kind of like get that lead up to maybe what the first movie did. 'cause I know they did do that with the first season where a lot of, uh, the characters, that we followed, were part of that first movie, like they branched down and were giving different aspects of like the first movie in Godzilla.
So maybe we're gonna get that same type of storytelling where these Kong is gonna be in the forefront, but we're gonna get a lot of that exposition of like, things happening in the background that led to Skull Island. Or maybe they're gonna jump us into uh, the king the King of the Monsters movie, or God delivers Kong.
So there's like two, three films that they can look into getting and kind of like giving us exposition. But I'm excited. I know a lot of people are like, no, we just want more Kai. Kai Jews don't care about the humans. And I'm with you. I'm with you. Like, as much as I like the human aspect. We all know we're just here for the monsters and we just want them to destroy stuff.
Like just let them fight. Just I don't wanna get much background. I don't want no story, just, I just want to see the Kai Jews and I feel like Monarch, this series has done a very good job of like teasing, teasing these kaijus, you get some human story aspect and then it's just kaijus.
So I do like that blend, but I'm very excited for this season. It's gonna be on my watch list and I can't wait.
Film Updates: Scream 7 and The Devil Wears Prada 2
So we're gonna be pivoting to the wi the World of film, and I have a few stories here. One is going to be Scream seven. I know there's a lot of controversy around this film. This is the seventh installment that was announced in uh, August.
2023 after the sex success of Scream six there's been some major shakeup with production delays from the SAG Afra to WGA strikes and credible overhauls and some cast masters not returning to lay as film. And again, with the firing of the previous cast due to political views. And again, those actors are well on their right to express their political views on.
On the subject of what's happening in the Middle East. Now, again, I am not bashing anyone and their views on how everything shut down for the film. I just want a good movie. Now, I don't know the full story of what happened with Nev Campbell and everything and on the back end, but what I do know is that.
Scream has always been Nev Campbell. The from the very first film to now Nev Campbell as Sidney Prescott, it's always been her story that sells. And yes, they've, you know, allowed new characters to play in that sandbox. And when they brought us back, to the Scream series. They went back to good old faithful Sidney Prescott and the next generations.
And then we got to, we were introduced to the cousins or the twins. And for those who are fans, we know that Sidney Prescott's story sells. She's, she's been in this universe and yes, we've introduced people. And new, like it's hard for them to get away from the story of singing press. Ah, it's been hard for them to get away from Sidney Prescott's story because it's been the foundation of what scream is.
And though there's been attempts to kind of move away from that, she is the core of scream. Like without her it difficult. So now again, not saying that's a bad thing, but you can say that scream, what was it? Scream five. They went back to that story and they built off of that. Now, if they had no connections whatsoever to their original castmates, I don't think scream the next installment would do well.
That's just me personally saying that is that I don't think the story would do well. Because they know that story sells. Now changing it up, this trailer that we're seeing goes into a much more gorier goes face and it takes it back. The focus to Sydney and then her kid, and. I like that and I've heard that their original director and writer are now involved for this, which is awesome.
Who helped with the original scream. I'm awesome. I want the movie to do well. I want to do very well. I know there's gonna be a lot of.
There's gonna be a lot of drama coming to this film just because how, where it came from and how, you know, all the process that it went through to get to this point. And I want the film to do well as much as everyone else I know they're doing, they're pulling all the stops to make sure this film is a, is a success.
And I wanted to, to do well. For Nev Campbell, and the crew that are with her now. Again, this film looks like it's gonna be very gruesome, very aggressive, no stop, which is kind of what we want to see. I'm hoping that they can introduce something very different for this next installment of, of the screen series.
So my fingers are. Fingers crossed they, they can pull this one out of the park going forward. Now, keeping on that train of sequels, this one I did not expect, which was the Devils were a product two. And surprisingly enough, I didn't know that the film needed a sequel, but. Here it is. It came popped up on my radar.
The teaser doesn't really show much. Just that Anne Hathaway's character is like from the heels down, gets to an elevator and they pan out. And then we see her character with Mel Streep in an elevator and. I assume some time has gone by for this, but the character looks good and I know that they they've been pushing it for a long time.
I mean, the trailer ends with Miranda equipping. Andy took you a long, took you long enough,
which tracks like her. Yeah, which tracks with her character and is a reference to the fans waiting 19 years for a sequel. God damn, that's a long time. But then again, you know, there's been other fandoms that it's taken so long for a sequel to get made. So I, I think my family has watched this. I think we're pro, I'm probably going to watch this as well, 'cause I, I did like how tastefully done it.
Tastefully it's. Been done and I'm kind of looking forward to see the direction that they go to if she's still with Meryl Streep's character. Is she doing on her own? 'cause I know the last film she was going, doing her own thing, so we'll see. But it looks like they're bringing all. Cast members from the original film, from the first film back.
So I'm excited to see where everyone is in their life. Are they still doing the same thing? Has nothing changed over the 19 years? So we'll see if they even address. It's been 19 years, so that is something I'm excited for. Again, devil Works Product two. Was announced and the teaser is gonna be building that hype.
Video Game Spotlight: Metroid Prime 4 Beyond
Now moving on to video games, I only have one story so far and it's gonna be like Metro Prime four Beyond. So essentially what we bear witness or the story is that we got a little bit of gameplay overview and deep dive of the game. The game is set to release on, uh, the Switch two and the switch on December 4th Now.
I am a little bit of a Metro fan. I did play Metro Dread, um, and that kind of like got me back into the series. Did not pick up, uh, Metro prime, or I didn't pick the. The next installment that was on the game queue, which they rereleased for the Switch. That was the one installment of the Game of Metro that I did not pick up.
But I am looking forward to Metro Prime four Beyond, just because it it looks like it brings it back to that old. Third party or third or first person gameplay that you're used to and not the side scroller. And it gives what I'm seeing is open world. Now, I could be wrong, but that.
Could be something new. And I know there's been some type of fatigue with games being open world. I know Sonic Frontier was open world breath of the Wild and here to the Kingdom still have the open world. And we see the less installment of Donkey Kong having that open world esque type of treatment.
And now metro. Beyond may have that type of treatment as well. It's hard to say, but just based on gameplay and what they were allowed to show, it does seem like we may have that, which I'm excited a little bit because I feel like if any character was meant for, to have an open world, it's metro and I.
I wanna see Star Fox have an open world, a game, and you know, I'm, I'm an. Star Fox fan as well. And I had, there was probably one game, like down the Game Cube and they recently made another one. But Star Fox was not a main character. He was just a DLC that you could buy. And his crew, I think it's called Battle for Atlas which is a good game.
It's just, you're essentially a star fighter, which. Very open world. But you're in a shift the all the time. So it's, I feel like if you don't get Star Fox, um, you just play with the main character, it, it doesn't really become a star Fox game until you get the DLC. So I, and the reason I bring that up is 'cause, nintendo seems to be doing a lot of the open world games applying that to other characters. The roster of characters since, you know, we've seen that with Mario having some open world games already. It's only fair that they're going down the roster. You know, they've done Link and now it's, uh, Metro and they've done Donkey Kong.
I feel like. It's just a natural progression. I'm hoping that Star Fox will be the next one on that list who knows? I am thinking about, I am excited because I'll be for the holidays in New York City, and so I'm. Very eager to like pick this up while I'm down there and I, I am bringing my switch.
Not too sure if I'm gonna get the switch too. I'll have to see, but I'm excited 'cause I do want to play this. Again, dread was the last metric game I played on the switch and that was a side scroller. Which you know, is very interesting. Uh, it's a very unique game. I'm not sure if. I'm not sure if they said if this is a sequel to dread or to their original time like storyline.
So I'll have to play to find out. But I'm very excited. So it's gonna come out again December 4th, on both the Switch and Nintendo Switch two, so you don't have to upgrade. You can still get it, which I'm excited for. But yeah. And the premise of the game is. Sam is once more exploring an unknown planet of Vero.
After a distressed call comes in from the Galactic Federation pertaining to an unforeseen disaster, you can make use of classic abilities. Learn mysterious powers called psychic abilities, fight through the planet to return home all the same. And then, and I feel like that's like the bread and butter.
I feel like Sam is always going on distress calls. I feel like she's very prominent as a female character that I would like to see her team up with Ripley with Sequoia Weaver's character and aliens. I would like to see that kind of crossover, like Metro Samus going up against like Xenomorph or something.
I feel like. She's one character that I feel like can have a live action if it's done correctly. And there's so much lore behind it. But yeah. Again, very excited. Can't wait to play the game along with everyone else on December 4th.
Conclusion and Listener Engagement
And again, this is just what I'm trying out is kind of like a round table.
You know, going through stories and picking out which pertain to the week, could be new, could be old, something that I feel like might focus in these different topic or genres and kind of relay them to you and maybe talk about them a bit. And so this is just my first attempt of doing like a round table ask or a not so weekly update, but.
Kind of like news form esque a little bit. I'm still working it out, trying to see if it's something I'm, you know, want to do. But again, this is my first crack at it. Hopefully you guys enjoyed it. Again. Tell me your thoughts. Hit me up on social. If there's other topics or other things you want us to talk about that fall in the lines of tv, movie, video games, and anime, um, let us know.
And then we can, you know, probably bring it up in our next, uh, our next episode for the roundup. I'm not sure. You know, I want a kitchen table with a roundup or the round table. I'm still working on wordplay for that, what they call these type of episodes. But we'll see. That might just be a placeholder.
But again, thank you guys for listening and I'll catch you in the next one. Talk to you later. Bye.
