Confessions of a PYP Teacher
This podcast is for any teacher who is seeking for ways to enrich the learning in their classroom without breaking the bank. We will explore the simple steps on how to turn the traditional learning experience into one founded on practices of the PYP in 10 to 20 minute episodes. The PYP is part of the International Baccalaureate program, which focuses on developing the whole child by allowing students to create their own meaning from learning. If you’re not a PYP teacher, don’t worry. We’ll be sharing ideas that can be applied to your learning setting, because good practice can be used anywhere. https://thinkchat2020.weebly.com/podcast

C16: Putting Action Together with the Golden Circle
Here's my attempt to make action easier, which means its about (MEDIUM) on the easy to hard scale. I try to break it down, but I tend to get excited and my ideas run away with me.
In this podcast, we are trying to put all three levels of action together, so they work seamlessly to build up the level of action rigor. We will use the Golden Circle as our scaffolding tool to answer these questions.
WHY - What level 3 action wil you focus on: participation, advocacy, social justice, social entreprenuership, and lifestyle choices.?
HOW - What level 2 action will you focus on: saying, doing, being, feeling, thinking, and knowing
WHAT - What are the level 1 actions will you complete to show as evidence of thinking at the 2 and 3 levels?
If you're thinking, this is too much for me, then skip it and go to episode 17. How my brain works, I try to process the big picture and work backwards. I can't forsee how it's going to lay out until I'm creating.
