Welcome And Why The Nations
SPEAKER_00Hey guys, and welcome back to the Glory Culture Podcast Show. I'm your girl, Terran Yancy, and today I am here with the one and only David Yancey, and we are Glory Culture International. And I am so excited to be talking about this today because we just came back from the nations and we are stirred up. We're fired up. And I hope you catch some of this fire today. What do you think?
SPEAKER_01I think uh people have really no idea what they miss when they don't go on something like this.
SPEAKER_00They missed out.
SPEAKER_01Oh, because you're seeing the book of Acts in action. And yeah, it's why would you not want to be a part of something like that?
SPEAKER_00Well, I think when people say the nations, you know, typically it's let's go play with the soccer bowls. It's like what they say, we are not going.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, they think of project right.
SPEAKER_00We're not going to build things in like huts or homes or whatever.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we're not swinging a hammer, right? We're we're wielding the sword of the spirit, right?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's right. And it's like even new team members that go with us, they have no clue what they're signing up for. And like their mind is just blown when they see how precious the nations are and how hungry they are for God. And then they're like, Why can't we have this in America?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and then just seeing the response of the Holy Spirit that just floods a nation with his with the river of God, with the fire and the purification, and and yeah, it's just it's a wonderful thing. One of my favorite moments from this last crusade was one of our team members that's never done anything like this. He looked at me after we did a an awesome oil service, and he said, I'm ruined. I can't go back, I can't go back to you.
SPEAKER_00That is our heart that yeah, like you would come with us and be so wrecked by the Lord. Yes, like, yes, going to the nations is amazing, and it's not a vacation. You are on assignment for the Lord, and there's extra perks added to it because the Lord wants to bless us. Yeah, and but we're there on assignment, like we don't just go to any nation that we want to go to.
SPEAKER_01You can't just you know play uh globe roulette and pick a place and be like, oh, this sounds like a great idea. Like, we're we have to follow the Lord, and as long as you're doing that, it's gonna just blow wide open, and you're gonna see this massive uh outpouring of the spirit. And and you know, it's funny is like the team members, they they their mind is blown for multiple reasons, and you know, of course, the hunger of people, right? They nobody in these countries that we go to are completely inundated with church andity, they just recognize the raw, real Jesus Christ, and so that changes them, but then also seeing the Lord's response to that hunger, it it it you you can't unsee it. There's nobody on this planet that can tell me that there are no signs and wonders, there are no miracles, or oh, that all passed away. You when you go on something like this, um, that stuff is such foolishness.
Why Miracles End The Debate
SPEAKER_01It is, it and it's funny, like people come back. I'll just talk about our own son wanted to go to this youth group last night at a cessationist church, and I don't know why he wanted to go, but what do they want to do? Sit down and debate everything, and they're always on the side of God does nothing, right?
SPEAKER_00And they're pointing fingers and trying to bring division, right?
SPEAKER_01But you want to know what doctrine um it all that stuff falls away when you see it before your own eyes, right? That's the importance of doing stuff like this, right? For for the team, and then the importance for the kingdom is all the souls, right?
SPEAKER_00And what I was telling you earlier was you see all these Gen Z kids, right? God is moving on that generation, and they like in the news, it's being reported, you know, all these mass salvations of Gen Z, and they're getting on fire for God, and they are wanting to go to church more than any other generation, blah blah blah. Okay, or yada yada yada.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I watched Seinfeld last night on Netflix, and she they did the yada.
SPEAKER_00Okay, I just I had to throw in the yada yada. Okay, okay, so it's being reported that in mass waves they are looking for tradition, the traditions of men. And what I was telling you was okay, it looks like a move of God, but actually it's the enemy silencing the prophetic voices and getting them under that religious spirit.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, see, the enemy isn't threatened by people coming to Jesus, the enemy's threatened by people awakening to this new creation reality, right? He he's not bothered by somebody giving their life to the Lord because it doesn't affect his kingdom, he's still in full operation. What's what's a threat to the enemy is a son realizing who he is in Christ, is a daughter realizing their sonship position in the Lord and being able to wield that authority of Jesus, right? And so the enemy is like, okay, you know, get them all saved. Yeah, that's fine. I'll just unleash this religious spirit that will cause them to be in this false trance of churchanity, right?
SPEAKER_00Where they're a threat to nothing, and they're being confined to the building because they are becoming more in love with the building than the body.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. But, anyways, you come with us and you'll see. You go on one of these trips and you'll see what it looks like when the Lord is just oh, he just he's so good and he's so wonderful. And it isn't that he isn't good here at home, that's absolutely uh you know a falsity. But man has placed restraints on the Lord because he's not going to violate what you give him permission to do, right? You know, he's not, he doesn't just overpower. Uh God has always been a God of partnership, and so right. Let's let's talk a little bit about everything that we saw in Burundi.
Your Words Can Block Breakthrough
SPEAKER_00Okay, but first, before we do that, Holy Spirit reminded me of something. I heard this quote, I can't remember who it was, so I don't want to put out names. Um, but it was the way that you speak, the way that you speak determines if God can move in your life because you are the one binding the angel that the Lord sent for your breakthrough or your miracle and all that.
SPEAKER_01And I don't know why the Lord put that on my heart, but I was supposed to say, Yeah, he has given us full uh ability to say no thank you.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_01And there are so many things that the Lord wants to do in your life and has lined up for you. And the Bible says that the power of life and death are in your tongue, therefore you can speak it so that it happens, or you can bind it and say no, thank you, Lord.
SPEAKER_00Right. Okay, so what happened in Burundi?
SPEAKER_01Well,
First Impressions Landing In Burundi
SPEAKER_01the first thing that always takes place is this very long travel. Flying to Africa is a hard travel because it's like flying to France twice.
SPEAKER_00You know what? I Lord, I signed up for that calling. I did not sign up for those flats.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we're we're just believing for those biblical miracles of supernatural transportation.
SPEAKER_00Yes, I'm calling it for yeah in Jesus' name. My body, Lord, have mercy on my body on those flights.
SPEAKER_01I don't know if you've ever been on one of those flights, but but there is a grace to travel, there is a grace for it. Um, but it it is it's yeah, it's interesting. Um, but God is good. So we we took off, we left everything behind, we left the United States of America, my favorite place in the world, and we get to Burundi, and it's it's so different. This is our first time in Burundi, right? What were your thoughts when you first got there? Because to me, when we first walked in there, I was like, Oh my goodness, this is this is different. I I don't know that I like this, right?
SPEAKER_00The atmosphere in the airport. Well, yeah, oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_01Okay, the airport was uh something else, but it it was like, oh my goodness, this is different. And I know that um there was a couple of our team members that that have been to other places, they're like, Oh my goodness, this is totally different. Like I love those other countries, I don't know about Burundi, but that changed by the end of the week because I'll just tell you up front right now, Burundi is my favorite crusade we've ever been a part of. I love that place. I want to go back. Um, our crusade director is already saying they want you back in 28. We need to make plans to come back in 28.
SPEAKER_00They they wanted us to go into they asked extended meetings for a two to three week revival.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because revival broke out. My goodness.
Street Ministry And An Ear Opens
SPEAKER_01Um, I'll just we'll just yeah, the street ministry, as always, phenomenal, so many uh miracles. Uh one, my favorite one was probably the man that had he was born without an ear, he just had a clump of cells. And if you follow us on social media, I I uploaded um uh 30-second video about it, and the this is the so important. You can't just go in there and just like by faith, you know, you're gonna hear. Like, you gotta be in tune with the spirit, right? Because the Lord told me, command the body parts individually. So I started speaking out the parts of the inner ear, and the man started hearing out of this wad of flesh on the outside of his ear. Started hearing, and and no, we didn't walk up to him and say, Repeat a prayer. Okay, now that you have Jesus, we'll pray for healing. Like, no, we prayed for healing. This guy did not have Jesus, the Lord opened his ear. Now his heart's opened on his own account. Right, I want to receive Jesus, not I'm just gonna repeat this because you told me to, right?
SPEAKER_00Well, what is evangelism without power? There has to be power evangelism, Romans 1:16.
SPEAKER_01Paul wrote, I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation, right?
SPEAKER_00So if you're not getting them healed, you're not, you know, the Lord, Holy Spirit isn't speaking.
SPEAKER_01Why would they even want if you're gonna approach somebody that's in a 15th generation of uh temple worship for another deity, right? Why are they gonna be compelled unless they see something, experience something that is out of this world from the Lord? Right, they're not gonna do it, or they might just do go along with you to get rid of you, right? You know, that happens a lot, it happens a lot, and you know what? I mean, that's their free will and that's their free choice. But when you bring the power, right, and the Holy Spirit and the presence of God touches them and hits them, they understand, oh my goodness, this is this is not anything I've been introduced to before.
SPEAKER_00Right. That's why there has to be power.
Prophecy That Calls Destiny By Name
SPEAKER_00One of the coolest moments for me in Burundi was I don't know, you were off somewhere else in the village, and I was praying for this other person. And as I'm praying and ministering to this person, the Lord says the name destiny, right? And I'm like, okay, Lord, uh maybe that's for a word of knowledge at their crusade, like gonna call them out by name, whatever they're going through. Okay, I'm like, okay, I'll shove that, we'll see, I'll look through the village for destiny. I continue to pray for this person, and the Lord yells at me almost like it sounded audibly, and he's like, Destiny, and like destiny now, and I'm like, Oh shoot, okay, where is destiny? Destiny, where are you? And the moment I called out and said, Where is destiny? The interpreter interpreted it, everybody in because you know they were crowded.
SPEAKER_01That was what was different about Burundi. When you start prophesying or praying over somebody, 30 people would just blow up.
SPEAKER_00They love to gather, so everybody starts looking around, and then they start pointing and saying, There's destiny, there's destiny. The moment he decided he was jogging through the village. The moment I called out his name, he was right behind right in front of me, and so then he kept running. And I was like, Go get destiny. So they went and got him. He came back. I was like, What's your name? He's like, My name's Destiny. I was like, Okay, the Lord told me your name, this is that. I prophesied to him, and he gave his life to the Lord right then and there. And I'm like, You got a calling on your life, and he was crying, so you can't tell me, like, if I were just to say, Hey, you over there running, um, God loves you, you know, John 3:16, Jesus died for you. Do you want to give your life, Jesus? Well, heck no, yeah, that sounds boring. But if I'm calling him out by name, calling out his stuff is like God sees me, and he God touches that person's heart, and he's like, I can't deny that God is real.
SPEAKER_01And it's the Lord's will that everyone would come to know him, and that's where the religious cynics would come in and they would say, like, oh, are you saying the Bible's not enough? Well, how did they do it in the book of Acts? Because they didn't walk around and beat people with scripture, they walked around and unleashed the Holy Spirit, right? And and it just uh boggles my mind that that is considered a controversial thing in Western Christianity. But then once you realize that Western Christianity is mostly just bondage to religion, it is, you know, then you don't need to give that any attention.
When The Crusade Becomes Revival
SPEAKER_01But I I want to talk about it was so much fun, the second night of the crusade.
SPEAKER_00That was insane, that was so fun.
SPEAKER_01We showed up to do a power evangelism crusade, but yet it turned into something completely different. It turned into a Pentecostal revival.
SPEAKER_00It was. I was standing on the stage thinking, this is a Pentecostal meeting.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we had tens of thousands of people out there, and and I think the Lord gave you direction, right? You yeah, yeah, talk about that.
SPEAKER_00So uh, I don't know, we were calling out words of knowledge, we're healing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, a couple people have gotten healed and came up, yeah.
SPEAKER_00We were waiting for people to testify, and the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, If you're not having fun, what are you doing? And I was like, Oh, why does it have to be so heavy? Why is Crusade so serious? And he's like, You need to like have fun, and he said, If you have fun, they will come. Yes, okay, so there's there is a testimony with that, so we just start going to town, oh, with the Holy Ghost hood.
SPEAKER_01Broke out. I kicked the drummer off the drum set uh-huh and I started playing.
SPEAKER_00Okay, yes, I'm like going back and forth around the stage, trying to get people to wave their arms, okay. And we just had a Holy Ghost time like revival meeting.
SPEAKER_01Yes, it was electrified, it was, and and there was there was nothing religious about it. The Lord was present, people were getting just smacked by his presence, and and and in it doesn't, my goodness, why are we always running to the altar in shame and weeping? And oh, help me God, when there's so much joy and freedom in his presence, and that's what broke out. And I don't remember you said something, you called out something, the band started playing, and that's when I kicked the drummer off and just like redirected the song how it needed to be, not just because I was I was in the spirit, and it was like right, but you kicked the drummer off and you started playing the drums at the crusade, yeah, yeah. For a while, too.
SPEAKER_00So you were drumming, and I was ministering, and I mean, just calling out stuff, whatever, keeping the crowd going. And I'm like, this is so much fun, Lord. This like this is how we're gonna break off. I'm like, we're gonna we're gonna dance, and we're gonna everywhere our foot treads, and by a prophetic act, we're just gonna dance and take territory and have fun.
SPEAKER_01Like, I remember um, I think I said I can't remember if I said this, I think I did on the mic. I was like, we're just gonna knock the devil in the head tonight by moving our feet and dancing before the Lord. And I started dancing on the stage, which is it, I think it they all started cracking up, not just because it it wasn't the greatest dancing, but because it's like people, if they've ever seen a preacher, which I don't know, I imagine that it's what we've all seen this very professional and very astute man of God standing there. Yeah, well, prophetic maybe, who knows? I mean, not everybody that goes in the nation is is yeah, using the prophetic a stuffy preacher, though thank you. And and hey, I mean, God bless them. And I know the Lord has used them like that, and and but that's an old thing. That's old wineskin thing, it's an old wineskin thing. And at the time, maybe it was the current thing, and God moved through it, but that has typically been the flavor that dominates, right? It's the stuffy man of God.
SPEAKER_00And we're not dishonoring generals of the past, that's not what we're talking about.
SPEAKER_01If the Lord has moved on, then we need to move with him, right? Right. So, what's the Lord doing now? And it and it they so they'd never seen anything like that before, and you know, a lot of religious people would say this is foolishness, and I would rebuttal to say, Well, praise God that He uses the foolish things to confound the wise, yeah. Um, and and it was just it was it was so so much fun, it and so many people gave their lives to Jesus.
SPEAKER_00You know what? That's why people missed out on if whoever said that they were gonna come and then couldn't come.
SPEAKER_01We had 11 people that signed up and then backed out, and God bless you, but you missed out.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it was so fun. And I think one thing that we do differently with crusades is I think we have this ongoing thing of the joy breaking out and dancing and taking authority with dance and worship.
SPEAKER_01And I'm not talking about joy on the bus and in the room, we're talking about joy on the stage, uh-huh, and it spreads like a wildfire through the crowd, right? Because and that's how you know it's it's the oil of the Lord. Because if you're trying to manufacture something on your own, um, which I mean that can be in the best intentions on earth, but all it's not going to spread.
SPEAKER_00Right. And people are are still getting set free. You know what? When we started doing the dancing, the joy, and all that, okay, the atmospheric miracles were so much greater than us trying to be serious, yep, and be a professional man and woman of God. No, because we fully surrendered to Holy Spirit, we danced like David danced, yep, atmospheric miracles like Crazy, paralytics getting up and walking, because we're dancing and shouting and singing unto the Lord.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah, I know our our crusade director, he was uh he was enjoying himself. He he's yeah, it's just everybody was enjoying themselves, right? And what's funny is like each night was like a different, completely different meeting, like it was a different location with different people, and and that was just almost like you know, it's funny, it's like the four faces of God. Each night, each of the four nights was a completely different aspect, and what was really significant on the second night was it turned into a revival, and and then the last night was just like just pure power, right? And the words and knowledge, I mean, there were words and knowledge all four nights, but they were getting really specific, and the response was there, and the details provided were there.
SPEAKER_00But after we danced,
Joy That Multiplies The Crowd
SPEAKER_00and the Lord told me, if you know, if you make it fun, they will come. The whole crowd doubled the night after. Yes, it's like everybody and their mother wanted to come have fun.
SPEAKER_01Shoot, I think it doubled during that out outbreak. Yeah, because we we had a large, we had a large crowd, and then once we started dancing and the joy really hit, um it's like the they kept coming and coming, and it just it blew up, right?
Feeding The Bush Village
SPEAKER_01Well, let's talk about one of the other things that we did that was really special. It's one of the things we always do, but it's just it's so special in each of its own right, no matter what country we're in.
SPEAKER_00But the feeding that's like one of my favorite things.
SPEAKER_01It it really because it we don't go inner city, we went way out in the bush.
SPEAKER_00That was such a cool village. The greeting that we got, yeah, was one of the coolest things I've ever experienced in my life.
SPEAKER_01They're so far out there. Like, we actually we saw the DRC from across the river. There's a river running right along. Parallel to the street, and you know, they were like, Hey, see the the grass on the other side of the water there, that's the Democratic Republic of Congo. And I was like, Can we go over there? You know, and they they're like, No, no, no. I was like, Well, okay, what about the river? Can we start? Can we baptize people in the river? And they were like, There's hippos and crocs, and I would have done it.
SPEAKER_00But the pastor's like, I'm baptized in that, and they have to stand with shotguns to yeah, to kill the hippos.
SPEAKER_01No, the and the crocs, yeah. And I I told my crusade director, I'm like, hey, if you pull this bus over, I will baptize everybody in that river.
SPEAKER_02I was like, let's go.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we were we were on board, but um, not everybody that I think it was the what was it, the interpreters, or they were like, please no. But I was all on board with it. But um, so we drove like man, an hour and a half outside the city, way deep into the into the brush, and down this long, long dirt road that was like just a little wider than the bus by maybe a foot on each side.
SPEAKER_00Uh-huh. We were hitting rock.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and some of the team members they'd never been out before, and they're like, We're gonna get stuck. And I'm like, dude, you have no idea where they put these buses, man. I've been in some crazy spots, and and uh, so, anyways, we get out there, there's this mud hut church, it's packed with people, it's a it's like a pygmy village, but um most of the pygmies didn't show up, but a lot of the kids and a lot of the other people were there, and one of the most special things you can do is just hand these kids a plate of food. And what we take it for granted, and and we should never be ashamed of that. You never ever apologize for the blessings of the Lord, right? Right? Never be never be made to feel shame for God's goodness in your own life. Having said that, like it's so easy for us to take it for granted because we gave them rice, beans, chicken, cabbage, uh, vegetable medley. Yeah, these kids had never had beans and chicken before in their life, ever. And so just seeing that joy on their face, and they're so honoring, right?
SPEAKER_00They don't just line up like at a soup kitchen, and and right they're they have manners, they have manners, but they're they receive it with such joy and they show so much honor, and they're those little faces just patiently waiting on those benches for their meal, like just hoping that they get a meal is like so precious.
SPEAKER_01So we handed out suckers like these little dum-dum lollipops. Yeah, they never had anything like this in their life. Some of them put it in their mouth with the wrapper on because they didn't even they're reading the paper, they didn't even know, they didn't know what a wrapper is, but you can just see their eyes light up when they tasted a dum-dum for the first time in their life, they've never had that kind of sugar before, and then we sent them back to their mom. But uh yeah, here, and now they're all high on sugar, but no, they just seeing their face light up and and then the the honor, all the elders of the tribe.
SPEAKER_00Well, when we were walking down that trail to get to where the women were cooking, that church was singing and dancing and praising because we were there, and they had the drummer going like for this big grand hello, and it was like, Wow, this is really amazing! Like, this is this is full on and they're so honoring.
SPEAKER_01Like the the the pastor of the church was like, Hey, we we're so glad to have you, and we want you as um as a prophet to stand here and prophesy over this church that we may receive, and it's just so honoring because you know, in America or Western church culture, people get offended at that, right? Like, who do you think you are, or you really think that blah, you know, whatever their stupid argument is, and and they don't have room for that over there. They believe and they receive, right? And they were they were just honored to have us there, and they were just, you know, please, please stand, stand in my church and prophesy, please, because he really believes when that happens, everything's gonna change, right? And the Bible says only believe, and and and it's not just talking about in Jesus, yes, our salvation is solely in Jesus, but there's so many other things of the kingdom aspect, right? And the Bible says to believe, not to debate and stand in the gap for sin and see how much can I sin and still get to heaven, and and all this other craziness is going on in the Western church, and so just that level of honor, which is a currency, um it it unleashes your ability to receive,
Compassion Over Numbers And Hype
SPEAKER_01right?
SPEAKER_00And one thing about going into the nations is one, they treat you like a celebrity.
SPEAKER_01I don't give a rip about that, yeah, and not celebrity in the way that the Western church culture has turned hero worship and idolatry. No, it's like we're honored, it's a very they recognize the oil of God on your life, and they're honoring God by giving you the greatest treatment on earth.
SPEAKER_00But going to those villages, like when you start to go to all these nations, you can't let yourself fall into this numbness of like, okay, I'm just here for a job. No, you are being sent by the Lord, you're on assignment, and you have to keep the heart posture of thankfulness and keep yourself humble of like, Lord, how am I even worthy to be sent here? Because these people are so precious. Like, I never want to take that for granted and it becomes so like monotonous of like going to the nations, doing the crusade.
SPEAKER_02Checklist.
SPEAKER_01Next, next, next.
SPEAKER_00I never want to do that because when I stoop down and like pray for that crippled little girl who like crazy, probably cursed by a witch doctor, crazy um body deformation, had to walk with her hands, like Lord Jesus, that is the stuff of why I wouldn't go to the nations because who else would pray for that little girl? Who else would like what if that one touch from the Lord could change her life? And you know, if that one little girl could get saved, that whole trip is worth it. But my heart is in the the people. It's going to the nations with compassion to love the nation, love the people of the nation like Jesus loved them, and see them not as salvation numbers. Like they are not a number on my checklist to read a thing to get them saved. I want them to be touched by the Lord, encounter the Lord, and fully receive salvation and be transformed by that. I don't give a rip about these stupid numbers. Like, yes, okay, it's good to reach is good. The reach is good, but they're not my checklist. Yeah, I don't know if that makes sense. We are there to love them like Jesus loved them, to be the hand, to feed them, to take care of them, and to preach the gospel with power, get them healed, get them delivered. You know, like I never want to take that for granted. Like, Lord, keep my heart pure. Because you can get wrapped up in in the awesomeness of traveling the world, but that's not what it's about. Like, yes, I love travel world, yes, it's nice, but Lord, make me more like you.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, the Bible says that Jesus did everything in compassion, the compassion overcame him, and he, you know, did the the thing that he did. It's it's numerous times in the gospel, and uh yeah, people need to come out with us.

SPEAKER_00Oh, another thing, the super cool thing, we were you were doing that, the leaders conference.
SPEAKER_01And I I fully believe in that, by the way.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_01We if if the leaders are not poured into and mentored and and and receiving uh the last thing I want to do is go into a nation, get people saved, and introduce them into religious slavery and bondage, right? So you've got to pour into the leaders that that they wouldn't be anything like American leadership, right? But kingdom leadership.
SPEAKER_00But I thought it was so cool. Yes, we're there for the leaders, and then they shut the door on all those kids and people were looking inside the church to see what was going on, like these barred windows, yeah. And the little children listening to the word of God, they shut the door on them, and then we were able to open up the door and let all those children come through the oil tunnel, the fire tunnel, and get prayed and prophesied over. Yeah, and that was so precious.
SPEAKER_01And another thing that I love about the leaders meeting with the oil service is it's really, really good for our team because we lay hands and prophesy over our team, right? We're there for the leaders, right? But also there's a major portion of impartation and leveling up for the team. Yeah, it is a time to level up. One of our team members, um, he he had yet to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Well, yeah, he got it right then and there, right?
SPEAKER_02He was knocked out, that was amazing.
SPEAKER_01He was shaking and making, he'd never gone through that before, and then he was just on the ground out. And you know, another person on our team, he he's amazing. But even even though this isn't his first crusade, he was touched so much. So, while yes, the team members are there to be a part of the mission, to serve and to go out and pray for people, but it's also life-changing, not just in what you observe, but you're gonna receive too.
Team Impartation And Mass Healings
SPEAKER_00Right. And I'm I just want to say I'm really proud of our team, extremely proud of our team.
SPEAKER_01They they're they're fantastic, and you know, we we just let them loose once once I finished preaching the word. They went out in the crowd, tens of thousands of people in the crowd, and our team was out there just laying hands on as many as they could reach.
SPEAKER_00So many blind eyes opening, deaf each other.
SPEAKER_01Yes, and and you know, people all often will say, Well, how is it that 50 blind eyes open? You're telling me that many people were blind. That's a mark of witchcraft, of heavy witchcraft. Right. There is there's a group of people in one area that are all under the same oppressive spirit, it's witchcraft. And we drove it out, we broke it on the first night. The Lord told me to preach on the light, and we broke it, and from there forward, I mean, so many ears, so many eyes, and so many cripples and restoration. We I I released a word of knowledge um about this guy, and it was like a lot of details, and he comes so what's it called? Yeah, Mark. I I called out the name Marco. I'm like, Lord, okay. If you're saying it, he's here. But what African is named Marco? Right, and we came sprinting up on the stage, and and and he was like, Everything you said, yes, this, this, this, yes, my life sucks, bravery. And uh, what was what was amazing was somebody stole his passport, and he was supposed to leave in a few days. And while I released the word, he was in the crowd, his passport got returned to him.
SPEAKER_00Uh-huh. That was so cool.
SPEAKER_01And it was just it was amazing.
SPEAKER_00And then that guy who was gonna go to the oh, he was gonna go to the witch doctor, yes. Yeah, is that the same guy?
SPEAKER_01No, or different no, that was a different person. I don't remember what the word of knowledge was, but he was going to go see the witch doctor, and he thought, you know what? Let me go see the man of God first, and if nothing changes, I'll go to the witch doctor. And I don't remember what his problem was. No, you called it like out spawn, and whatever it was, God healed him instantly in the crowd, and he came up and testified. Um, oh gosh, we have we have the footage.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I just like I was gonna go to the witch doctor, but I can't hear I got healed. Yeah, something told me I got healed. Now I don't have to go to the witch doctor. Yep, and that that was a really cool moment, amen.
SPEAKER_01Praise God. But so that's everything that happened. But what's
Zambia Plans And Funding By Faith
SPEAKER_01what's next, Taryn? What's next?
SPEAKER_00Okay, okay, we're doing it, we're doing it. Um well, a little birdie told me, yeah, the Holy Ghost, the dove, he told us where we're going.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we're gonna we've got our next crusade lined up for next year.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01May 31st to June 8th. You don't want to miss it, it's gonna be amazing. We're going to the country of Zambia. We're going to Livingstone, Zambia next year. You don't want to miss it. And and if you say, Well, I can't go, then please sew into it because these require a lot of resources. And we really need some monthly partners to come along with us. And you know, or maybe you can't do it monthly, but you say, I've got this one-time seed. Well, yeah, you're gonna reap a reward in heaven for that. Because I believe everybody that sowed into Burundi and last year sowed into Malawi, and then before that sowed into Pakistan, and all these other places that we've gone, everybody that gets born again. I believe this is true. There's a time when you're gonna be in heaven and somebody that you've never seen before is gonna walk up to you and they're gonna say, I'm only here because of you. And you may even think, What in the world did I have to do with your story? That ministry that came and visited me and got me saved only came because of the gift you gave. They wouldn't have been able to come without your financial support. I believe you're gonna be tethered to all these salvations, and there's such a reward, and the Lord He sees everything, and He's able to bless, multiply it back to you more than you can even imagine. And so, but first, you need to come, you need to come. It's yeah, it's a life change. Yeah, while doing kingdoms, like we're not gonna, it's gonna be fun and enjoyable, and you build relationships that you're gonna have for up for life for people from all over the world. I have friends in other nations because of teams that we've been together on, it becomes kingdom family, it is, and but yeah, I think that that's it's gonna be a powerful time. Our hotel is five minutes away from the Victoria Falls, the largest waterfall in the world, one of the seven wonders of the world. Um, the animals are everywhere. Our crusade coordinator was telling us that giraffes and zebras just freely walk the hotel property.
SPEAKER_00Okay, that's gonna be cool.
SPEAKER_01It's gonna be awesome, and you're not gonna want to miss it. And you know, because hey, it's okay to enjoy yourself in the natural while you're having a major party in the Holy Ghost.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. And he also said you'll be eating lunch and a giraffe will just like walk up to you.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's like a mezzanine on par with where they can reach, and they'll just walk up and check out your plate.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'm really excited for Zambia. Thank you, Lord.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, praise God. Yeah, um, I had other plans in my own mind, but you know, the Lord establishes his way. Uh, yeah, there's so many Zambia was nowhere on my radar whatsoever. No, but my heart just started stirring.
SPEAKER_00Uh-huh. Yeah, yeah. There's so many nations that the Lord has been speaking to us about, and then he totally just disrupted our plan. Said, Nope, you're going to Zambia.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So I'm excited.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'm really excited.
SPEAKER_01And all you out there, you've got 11 months now. You've got 11 months.
SPEAKER_00Okay. It's time. Okay, what's that? That saying now, it's time to lock in. Okay. It's time to lock in.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_00And start gathering your funds, yeah. And selling your grain.
SPEAKER_01And let me tell you this: sometimes you just need to do it by faith. And and a lot of times, and this happened with uh this has happened several times around us, not to us. People say, Oh, I'm gonna fill out the application by faith. And then when the deadline comes, oh, I can't go. Um, when we were going on teams, right? Not taking teams, but when we were going and serving on teams, right? If the application was coming out Friday at one o'clock, yeah, my application was turned in Friday at 105. Didn't raise a penny. I didn't, I didn't say, okay, I'll fill it out, and then we'll see what happens with the funds. No, no, no, no, no, no. I'm going without a shadow of a doubt. By faith, I'm filling this out, I'm turning it in, and I am going. And I'm not gonna sit around and beg and wait for something to fall into my lap.
SPEAKER_00It either God said you're going or you're not going.
SPEAKER_01And and so many people are, oh, I only got half, or oh, I don't, I just can't raise that kind of money. It's no.
SPEAKER_00You know what? I heard somebody a huge, huge name. If I said their name, you would instantly know who they are. They said in a private um, like Zoom for creators, they were saying that when they started to go to the nations, they didn't have any money to go. So, what they do, they took their clothes to a local consignment store and sold their clothes to get money to go to the nations. Don't tell me there isn't creative ways to bring in the funds.
SPEAKER_01Oh my goodness, we could get into if we really told people how we funded our crusades, they yeah, people would say you guys are insane. It's like I'm you know, you're out of your mind. No, I'm out of your mind, and I'm in the mind of Christ, right?
SPEAKER_00And God says go, He's gonna he's gonna fund it.
SPEAKER_01He's gonna go. There, he's he's sending you.
SPEAKER_00So, yeah, anyways, yeah, this has been quite lovely.
Gold Dust, Glory, And Goodbye
SPEAKER_00But we're so excited that you decided to spend almost an hour of your time with us today. Yeah, anything else you want to say?
SPEAKER_01No, it's just the Lord is so faithful, so many salvations, too many to count, so many miracles, so many healings.
SPEAKER_00Right. Um, we could talk hours and hours.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah. This, this uh, not everybody will like this stat, but I like it. The night we had our Pentecostal revival when we got in the bus, every single member of the team, including Darcy and Brenda, our coordinators, everybody had gold all over. Every yes, we had gold dust on our hands, everybody, and we weren't up there trying to go after the signs, we weren't after they're going after the cloud, and we were just having fun in the Lord, and it broke out and it broke out heaven.
SPEAKER_00It was like the windows of heaven opened up. Everybody had gold on their hands, even the translators, right?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, the translator. Uh, didn't Darcy say the bus driver?
SPEAKER_00That's crazy if that's true.
SPEAKER_01I I can't remember, but I know for a fact all the team, but uh yeah, it was a glory meeting, it was a glory meeting, and we weren't even trying. No, we weren't going after it. We were we were just there for souls, and then the Lord shifted everything. But it was through fun, not yeah, yeah, not oh my goodness, this is so weighty and heavy because I want everyone to look at me and say, Man of God, no, we just we just got in the river and splashed around.
SPEAKER_00It like Darcy says, rip it potato, rip it, potato yeah, and that's what we did. Yeah, and it was a glorious time, and you know what? I know the Lord was with us dancing, the angels were having a good time, and they're probably like, Thank god, this isn't another boring meeting, yeah.
