Super, super, or whatever the thing is. This is the Supercalifragilistic awesome Disney Podcast where each week we discuss, you guessed it, Disney things you know, things you
Kelli:don't know and things you didn't know you needed to know. Well,
Chris:as Walt would say, the way to get started is to quit talking and begin to and oh by
Kelli:the way, I can do this. Please stay clear of the doors poor football man. Thank God say Alejandro de Les Paul.
Chris:Welcome aboard Disney fam Hello out there Disney fam. My name is Chris I think that's it little world wish we had video for that moment? That was awesome. Little centennial. 100 years ears just bounced around.
Kelli:Yes. I thought it was kind of perf Yeah, for why?
Chris:Why is it perfect?
Kelli:Cause it's our 200th episode.
Chris:I as as Clark is all said, I couldn't be more surprised if I woke up tomorrow. My head sewn to the carpet. Yeah, really? 200 episodes were going on, what? Four years? Three years, four years in June or
Kelli:years? 200 episodes. That's crazy. I
Chris:know. That's bonuses and everything. Right? Yeah. Unbelievable. And we celebrated 18 years of wedding last week
Kelli:carried. And in two weeks, we celebrate your birthday.
Chris:We don't want you to talk about that when
Kelli:we just did a
Chris:real celebratory this time of year and it for us is always pretty celebratory, celebratory like we can't we will only be able to say the 200th episode one time.
Kelli:Hey, honey, who has listened to us this week leading into the 200
Chris:the 199th episode, listen to the 199 that we had folks in Jersey City, New Jersey. So this is when you're in Manhattan and you're standing on the bike near the Financial District looking over the Hudson River you are looking basically at the beautiful water skyline of Jersey City if you're legal in Jersey, if you're in Jersey City, you've got great views of Manhattan there. You can see the Lady Liberty out there in the harbor say so now what
Kelli:else is legal in Jersey honey duals listening to our 200th anniversary.
Chris:So you find folks in New Jersey City. Keep it going keep it going to go for another day legal
Kelli:for y'all to listen our 200 Farmington
Chris:Minnesota. Oh, this is sarebbe suburb, just south of Minneapolis. I think they probably love hanging out at Mall of America and Paisley Park. Although neither of those are in Farmington. Exactly.
Kelli:But they're close. Okay. All right. Welcome Minnesota.
Chris:Yep, for sure. Winston Salem, North Carolina.
Kelli:Winston Salem.
Chris:The great little town in the heart of North Carolina. The heart home of the Wake Forest. Demon Deacons go Deeks the Switzerland of the ACC Tobacco Road Tobacco Road. But But I mean, what was their real contribution to civilized society today? Winston
Kelli:Salem? Oh, well, that's the air air plane.
Chris:No, no, dear the airplane that was Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. But, okay. I mean, come on. It's Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.
Kelli:Really? Western sales for Krispy Kreme? Yep. I did not know that.
Chris:What would this nation be without that? You know what I'm saying? That is right. It wouldn't be much melt
Kelli:in your mouth. I mean, it's like you didn't even eat like sweet clouds of sweet clouds. Especially when they come hot. Fresh hot.
Chris:Fresh hot now. Fresh now. Right off
Kelli:the right off the little kid right off the conveyor belt right out of the grease. snatch them up with that little hook thing they've got put them right in the box.
Chris:We'll get to the sugar waterfall on the conveyor set for that one at Myrtle Beach. Yeah, that one's fake. Yeah, they have they're shipped in. I Shiga must say this again, because I want these people to know that I care about them. Okay, get right. I Ashiya Japan in the HEO go district rice, which is just west of Osaka, Japan. Nestled right on the shores of Osaka Bay looks like a wonderful place to spend some
Kelli:time sounds lovely. Yeah, Japan is absolutely on my bucket list for sure. I mean, every single time you show me a video of something from Tokyo Disney Sea, like we need a weekend
Chris:and there's a I think it's maybe the Disney tourists insider or Disney tourists blog. I can't remember which one exactly right now not apologize for that. But he's all the time talking about their favorite place to visit in the world is Kyoto Japan, which is where are effectively where Disneyland is located so they go there a lot but they love that part of Japan specifically agnostic of Disney. Wow then you've got Disney Disney and Disney see there so
Kelli:we just need maybe a week and a half in Japan to really
Chris:sort of wonder where all this money's gonna come from.
Kelli:I you know I've decided to start manifesting being a millionaire manifesting
Chris:manifest that abundance maybe I'd be darling at it.
Kelli:I hope you are just darling at it. I know I will. In
Chris:the meantime, I'm just gonna keep keep working on those lottery tickets. Are you ready for some Main Street? Let's do it. Alright. So one of the topics for today is speaking of Tokyo Disney Sea by the way, it officially opened the new lands they're officially open June 6. The new frozen land and camera what they're calling the fate and fantasy fantasy spring since the spring fantasy springs opens June the sixth and so we've started seeing videos as some of the dark rides crazy this the tangled oh my gosh, this forum is about little boat dark boat ride that ride the amazing the animatronics that took the Tokyo users are off the charts anyway we saw that whenever the beating the beast ride opened and we saw them dancing in the ballroom right well now we have the scenes from Tangled that are just they hurt your eyes they're so gorgeous. And this this room where you basically float around her and Flynn and their boat when they're surrounded by the land. Oh, the lanterns oh my gosh,
Kelli:I just recently got some of those lanterns for my dream light Valley and I want them everywhere but Scrooge charges I want to say like like 6000 coins for oil you know I mean he liked there was money there nice. Well, he's got a pair of sweat pants in his store yesterday for$50,000 And I thought those things better be made of gold. They got juicy written on the but they do not and I was like I'm not paying 50,000 coins for sweat pants. That's ridiculous but I would buy 50,000 of those lanterns in a heartbeat because the ambiance they give at night is
Chris:something it's it's really
Kelli:special nice really really special so
Chris:yes, on my two by four screen that I play on talking about family well then they also had this this they showed a video from on analysis frozen adventure. Okay, maybe it's also not I don't know. But you basically ride through scenes from the first Frozen movie, including, when Ana's frozen she actually gets frozen and she thaws this people go find the video of this. It is wackadoo crazy there. It's obviously they have these amazing animatronics.
Kelli:How do you de thaw something with animatronics? Like that's insane, right? She's
Chris:frozen and then she becomes unfrozen. And, and I quote living animatronic. It's crazy. They're using projections but still it looks so cool.
Kelli:It's brilliant. I mean, is this this is the biggest addition to Tokyo do we know that Tokyo Disney see I don't know like I just want to make sure when we go that we can see all of it yeah sure. I don't know that oh, they're building this next year the building that the next year. I want to make sure we go we go we get to see all that we've gone. Yes.
Chris:So there's a walkthrough I guess, Scott Gustin re retweeted of video that someone else put out that is a like a like an hour's long walkthrough of Disney see? And he says it gives that amazing you know, feeling an idea of what that land is like,
Kelli:is that like an ambiance video? Or are they talking throne and
Chris:this is like something somebody posted to Twitter.
Kelli:Just an ambiance thing. Okay.
Chris:I think it's a walkthrough. Okay, they're
Kelli:talking. They're talking Okay, that's what I was wondering if that's something we could put on like, YouTube was asleep time or or?
Chris:We'll try that tonight. Oh, like you. I don't like where your head's I don't
Kelli:want to be talking to me. I just want the ambiance. Yeah,
Chris:I don't I don't know. I had to see. Okay, we can give it a go there. Okay. All right. Okay, so we saw some new artists renderings slash photos of the new island tower at Poly, the new DVC Island tower. Beautiful. For the for the folks that are just complaining about the fact that it's 10 stories and blah, blah, blah. The grumbly butts out there, whatever. This thing is beautiful. It's gonna have some ridiculous was really nice accommodations, and I cannot wait to stay in this thing. And they said that reservation start for DVC members on June 4 Annual Pass holders on June 5, and then other folks on June 6. However, there was a note that said DVC members can start making points centric reservations or points related reservations. At a later date. That's at a mass that bummed me out because I was ready to get online on June the fourth and booked something for right after it opens. I think it's opening in December.
Kelli:Yeah, that's kind of a bummer. I mean, I get that DVC people get sort of first dibs. But we're probably members. So we would be first first dibs. You would
Chris:you would think we can, as long as we're willing to pay actual dollars for it. All right. I
Kelli:don't want to pay actual dollars. That
Chris:was the whole point
Kelli:of the DVD. Right. That's the point of it.
Chris:I don't want me anyway, for me, I
Kelli:don't want to pay actual dollars. But that's fine. That's fine.
Chris:As soon as the time comes, we'll be on we'll jump
Kelli:on it because you had to be poly to use points. 11 months out 11 months, months out. So that's right.
Chris:And we are Yep. Anaheim has officially approved the Disneyland forward plan.
Kelli:Go and uh huh. Yeah, I mean, like, that's what it that's a city that's supportive of some change. I like saying, I love seeing the city. That's like, that's right. Go forward. Let's make this happen. Let's do it. Do it. Anaheim. I like that. I like that energy. I
Chris:do too. I do too. This was the this was the note from the person who made this announcement. They said Disneyland forward has officially and unanimously it's been approved by the City of Anaheim and will go into full effect on June the seventh this year. It was approved to thunderous applause by those in attendance.
Kelli:So we're talking about that's that's the energy I won't come in to change like this. funder is under US applause Yes,
Chris:that's the energy I want to say we love these people here. Bring in money and resources and fun and whatever economic Yeah, drives. Yes. And so if they want to grow it and do more of it, yes. Let's applaud thundersley Yes,
Kelli:yes. I like it. Good Energy, Anaheim. Good
Chris:Energy. Anaheim. Tiana's by you a venture officially opens on June the 28th
Kelli:still not come on that's a month away they've been testing this thing since we were there I mean, how many how many soft openings at like an out of town preview are they gonna have look
Chris:it takes one decapitation all bets are off. Okay, so the test as long as they want to test
Kelli:nobody's gonna be decapitated. They removed that brands Famous last words. No, that branch honey, that was right at the you know, the drop. They removed that branch that would have decapitated people, but now where are they gonna be decapitated by like, right, Firefly?
Chris:I mean, you never know.
Kelli:How vicious are we talking about inside they're just
Chris:I just You just I'm just saying. But what's what's
Kelli:faciliated doing? What What river have decapitated people what
Chris:has happened? They gotta test to make sure that it's all fun and games. decapitated. June 28 as today, okay, good. That's the day that all the Splash Mountain lovers can just finally shed their last tears. God they've got so many tears. Whatever.
Kelli:Good for me. space for me on the ride. Alright,
Chris:so Animal Kingdom has officially retired. The character flotillas. Remember the little flooding boat?
Kelli:Yep. Why? Why would they take that joy away?
Chris:Because they've officially brought character meet and greets back to the park.
Kelli:No. That's why these things are not mutually exclusive. You can have both when you're sitting at Nomad lounge, and they float by with the music wave.
Chris:And the honestly the I don't believe the meet and greets involved any of the same characters that I saw on the fly. These things
Kelli:are not mutually exclusive you that I love that they call them flotillas, by the way. I didn't know that's what they called them, but I love that name. So I think you can have the flotillas and the meet and greets. I agree with that. I don't think they're mutually exclusive.
Chris:I agree. Especially considering that Pocahontas is returning I don't remember seeing her on one of the photos. But I do like the Pocahontas meet and greet. She was great when we saw To her,
Kelli:she really was. I mean, it's a horrible representation and very inaccurate but she was wonderful. She seemed to be a lovely human. She
Chris:was a lovely human there's some surprise meet and greets at Ricky's planet watch but the ones I saw was put into your
Kelli:poo and you're at Rafiq he's played at watch. Come on people like get that together. That's a who ought to be at Ricky's planet who
Chris:ought to be Ricky's planet watch for a fakie fakie Timon Pumbaa. Yeah, okay. It says surprise. It's just the picture I saw was poo and you're maybe it's other people. This Sorrell er he didn't want to be out me Does he want he wants people to remember him. Now he needs for know for medicine. They want people to notice. We're noticing me. Pluto is returning to Dinah land USA for a meet and greet and birdwatching. Goofy is also going to be debuting at Animal Kingdom.
Kelli:I bet he's dressed to look like a wilderness explorer birdwatcher.
Chris:He's dressed in like a birdwatcher, not a wilderness explorer but
Kelli:watches where if not wilderness, outfits, flannel,
Chris:plaid flannel.
Kelli:Are you serious? What it looks like he's wearing that is not what birdwatchers way how do you know how do you say it not
Chris:a birdwatcher? You drove down the road the other day and you saw one black bird and some red on its wings and you thought that was a beautiful bird and that is the closest to bird watching you
Kelli:have ever gone What was most definitely not wearing flannel?
Chris:But you actually bird watch it. You saw a bird you
Kelli:do not wear flannel coordinated see not a thing. According
Chris:to goofy they did and goofy has put out a whole line of how to videos such that it was Pluto. Pluto has a meet and greet but this is birdwatching goofy that we're talking about right now.
Kelli:I do not think a that's a thing. Goofy. No goofy likes to fish and dreamlike Valley he's very into the fish. I don't think
Chris:he has put out a whole bunch of how to videos for birdwatching. Oh, for all kinds of things. Good. He's a master of lots of skills and trait trades.
Kelli:I'm just saying. birdwatchers not wear flannel I think they were very similar to the wilderness explorer outfits like solid khaki, maybe camo to blend in so the birds don't see them. I've seen some videos on YouTube where they like put a bowl in their mouth and then they cover their faces and like leaves and dirt and they hold that ball there until the bird lands on it and then they're like right at eye level with the bird and the birds like eat now the bowl and the bowls like attached to their mouth.
Chris:I would not be able to do that because it's too close to me.
Kelli:Oh a bird would be very out
Chris:bird would be very blurry.
Kelli:It would absolutely freak me out. But I'm telling you right now this people are not wearing flannel this they are not wearing Have you ever seen a park ranger in flannel? No,
Chris:they're not birdwatcher, basically
Kelli:are.
Chris:I'm gonna tell everybody something. If you think for one second that this kind of banter is reserved. Just for the moments were in front of these microphones. You my friend are wrong. This is this is how life is in this house.
Kelli:Because I'm willing to argue about birdwatching out That's right. And if you tell me some big news like that, that's the thing. I'm gonna lie
Chris:big news. They get the birdwatching, Goofy is the big news. We're talking
Kelli:about what his outfit is. Lord, you put it in the new segment I did.
Chris:For this very reason, frankly. All right, look, we're doing something really a little bit different kind of fun, very taupe. Hopefully, it's fun. It was fun for us, the 200th episode. So we're taking that and we're applying it to our Tomorrowland and World Showcase segments. So we've got 200, the the number 200 in air quotes related topics that we just decided to come up with. So for Tomorrowland, our prompt here is, what will Disney be at 200 years or so and 100 more years, right? 100 more years? Right? So we're not necessarily just saying another 150 years of the parks just it will Disney be now I think mine are mostly Park centric, but
Kelli:whatever matter mostly Park centric too. Okay,
Chris:so another 100 years of Disney, what will what should what are some things we shouldn't expect? I'll let you go first and then I'll go okay. And then you'll go and then I'll go okay,
Kelli:so I think we will see virtual reality experiences in the park. Okay, you will be able to have virtual reality goggles on certain areas of the park for rides, shows and celebrity interactions, not character interactions, but you can actually interact with celebrities that are well known like Disney celebrities, like Lin Manuel Miranda. Interesting. Okay. So ride shows celebrity interactions in a VR environment. I also believe that this, these VR experiences will be fully immersive like Disney with smells. And like, you know 4d, how sometimes they'll spit water on you and things like that I think there'll be fully immersive VR experiences. I think you will have unique impark VR experiences with the cast, like with cast members. And when you go somewhere like Epcot, then when you go into the countries, there will be VR experiences there, where it's beyond just having, you know, in country cast members, but you can actually immerse yourself into the country in a VR way.
Chris:I like it. So So you're saying like, I can walk the Queen's, what do they call it? The Queen's mile? What is it called over there on the side of the river? The Queen's something where you walk by Royal Mile in Edinburgh? No, no, no, this is the Queen's something. It's on the edge of the Thames. You walk from basically from parliament. Oh, yeah, you
Kelli:did that?
Chris:I did that. Right. Yes. Absolutely amazing to do that. Okay, so I don't know which one to go with first. But I'm gonna I'm going to leapfrog off that and say, I had on my list of virtual visits to the park. So not when you're in necessarily in the park. But it will become commonplace to say, You know what, I'm going to I'm going to go downstairs to the basement and I'm going to go to Disney. Right and so I'll be able to go to any park I want to go to and I will be able to spend some time fully walkers fully immersed walking down Main Street walking through frontier land. Oops, I stepped in the dirty water in Liberty Square. Can
Kelli:you also ride rides?
Chris:Like, like, you know, the ride along type videos, right? But here's what's going on. So today we have, we don't have like one of those super cool theater setups. But we in our basement, we've got some big TVs and a big couch right? For movie nights or whatever. In in the future. We're all going to like have VR setups. Think Ready Player One, like the movie, except now the hollow floor is available? Yes. Right? They just patented and invented the hollow floor. So you can walk Omni directionally on this on this tile floor. But in 100 years, that's what we're all going to have in our spaces. And we're going to literally be able to walk down Main Street USA. Absolutely. It's gonna be that's that's what I have. So I'm just jumping off point from what you said. I agree. Okay, what's next?
Kelli:I also had something very similar to that on my list, but it also included behind the scenes tours, okay, that you could do,
Chris:like, do the behind the scenes tour or the right yeah, like yep.
Kelli:Okay, so my other thing then that I had was that all rides are immersive. Okay. So you know, the new thing is immersive land. Okay, this is all rides are immersive. So for example, in it's a small world, you would actually get to visit the different countries in the boat, right? As you go through, we're not just looking at outfits and kids. It's fully immersive in that country, where you can actually interact with different cultures and stuff. You can actually stay at the Haunted Mansion, or the Tower of Terror. So
Chris:like, like, create a haunted mansion place to stay or I like this. There's
Kelli:nearly immerse yourself into specific right? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
Chris:there's there's a guy online that is always like posting pictures of, say, the lobby of Tower of Terror. And he's like, would you how much would you pay to stay at this hotel? Right,
Kelli:exactly.
Chris:We'll be able to do
Kelli:it. Yes. And then also your magic band is much more in sync with where you are in the park. So for example, you walk up to a jaw freeze cart, and they say Hey, Chris, would you like what you ordered last time? Oh,
Chris:I like that. 200 years for that we got out to be you
Kelli:walk up to Skipper canteen and just sit down and they say bowling party have to your table is shaking. You know, they know you're they hate this though. Right? They're already doing it. You know they are. I've told you before Mickey knows which stall I use the last time I was there. And he told the people to go clean it after three people had used like I'm telling you, they already know this. They know it. So just go ahead and on that shit. Like when we're when we're leaving. It's a small world and they put your name up on the screen. They know it. They're already using this technology. Right? So make it happen in a way that serves me. Right? I walk up to a cart and they say, Kelly Are you ready for another? Their diet coke. You know what yes I
Chris:bet sent you a push notification that says we see your near the jaw freeze in the UK. Would you like to stop and we can go ahead and start your normal? Yes,
Kelli:that's what I'm talking about right there push notification We know you want to pay for we know you prefer the alcohol version. Just click here and it'll be ready when you want my like an extra shot of like an extra shot. That's what the Joffrey is people are. They're just nice like that. And so that's how it would be. That's how it would be okay, I like it. I like that. And even better, like the one in the UK. If it said that with an English accent. I would be like, yes. You know what? Yes. Give me that extra shot with your English.
Chris:Oh, dumb American accent wouldn't get it done.
Kelli:I want to hear in my accent.
Chris:What would that would that English flair that they have? We
Kelli:never should have dumped the tea. We shouldn't have never should have dumped the tea. Alright,
Chris:so yeah. Okay, so I'm gonna jump off that one too. And say, I think we'll have at Orlando will have in the next 100 years, we'll have two more theme parks minimum full on theme parks. But to your point, they're going to be uber specific and Uber immersive, right, this will be going to these lands. And so I think what epic universe is doing now where they've got four lands, but they're hugely immersive. Okay. I envision that Disney is going a I think immersion is here to stay. The whole idea forever was immersion. Right? The matter horn is horrible as it is, the idea is for you to feel like you're really going down and Swiss out slow dying at 140 miles an hour. And they
Kelli:nailed it. They did.
Chris:But like that's what right, these rods have always intended, we just now are reaching the technology to really do it. Right. So I think that that's what we're gonna see imagine. That's where our villains entire thing, Park. That is nothing but immersive village lands, you could scare the pee right out of people. Yeah, with some of the villains, if you gave, like if you gave them truly immersive lands to go through? Absolutely.
Kelli:I mean, I'm gonna go back to dream like Valley because I do feel like that's the closest we've got to an immersive experience right now. Yeah. And so if it's like dreamlike Valley, where you run across Ursula in this little pond, right, when you walk into the village, and she gives you a quest, you have to complete like, go find Merlin, and speak to him twice today. And he'll give you X, Y or Z. You know, I need to make this potion because I want to kill mother god awful. Go and pick five flowers. Like we can
Chris:take the idea of escape rooms and work them into or you got to work your way out of right. So your Queens dungeon,
Kelli:right? So you're not waiting in lines for the ride. You can still do that. There's some of that. Sure. But take this whole quest thing from the parks that they've done in some of them. Yeah. And make that fully immersive them up a little where you are interacting with the characters and completing quests kind of like what they did on the Halcyon? Yes, right? Yes. But in the parks? Yes. Then there's not like lines everywhere. Right? Because my magic man can be like, go see Ursula now. Yes, Jeb,
Chris:anything else you just had to get out there? All right. I had one other little thing here. Assuming that in 100 years, we're not all using Star Trek style transporters, which would be great. I would love that. I'm saying that Skyliners to all the parks. Yes. Right. Yeah, that seems obvious, obvious and high speed rail all across America so that you can get to Disney Parks super fast by rail.
Kelli:I love it, honey. I like it. Okay,
Chris:so we're continuing with the 200 Yes, thing here and we're going into World Showcase. So we've got, here's our prompt. It can be your first 200 minutes, or it can be your last 200 minutes at any Walt Disney World Park. No lines to consider in fact, you got the park all to yourself. How do you what do you spend your first 200 minutes? Or your last 200 minutes? And what Park and what do you do? You go first you
Kelli:go first? Okay, so I'm gonna go to Epcot. Okay. You're in Epcot I'm in. Okay, and this is gonna be my last to your last 200 minutes. Nice. So, we're gonna start in Mexico. Okay, we're gonna go into the Mexican pavilion, which is one of my faves. Sure, and it's gonna be completely empty. And we're gonna have chefs on staff to make me a custom meal next to the water down there. I like because I've never eat at that restaurant because I'm not super crazy about the menu or the ambiance. There's secondarily four. Right so custom meal there in the Mexico pavilion, right and you You're the water, that would be nice. Then we're gonna leave Mexico and leisurely because there's no one else in the park walk over to the American adventure where we get a private concert from voices of liberty. Good idea. And then we get to see the showing of the American adventure.
Chris:Like the show not to see you on your last 200 minute my last ever would have done any of the map that bad
Kelli:I would need a nap at this point. And then we're gonna hit the wine cellar at Italy. Now I'm giving us 45 minutes there. So we had I gave us 45 minutes for the custom meal inside Mexico. 30 minutes for the voices of liberty and adventure show. And then in that Italy wine cellar 45 minutes, actually, and I don't want to call it like Supermarket Sweep. But you know, that's how I envisioned it.
Chris:In the wine cellar. bougie Masha with one seller ever
Kelli:that you give you give me access to one seller? Can
Chris:I Supermarket Sweep this
Kelli:45 minutes there. And then we will,
Chris:by the way for all of you 80s babies out there Gen X auto really? Sweep is
Kelli:back. Now really? It's bad. Not really. I love super sweet. Okay, then we're going to hit France. Now I have left us 95 minutes in France. Okay. Okay, so we've done we've done really well here. We've got 95 minutes in France. So we're gonna start on the inside at the Blue luxury. And this is where we're going to have the Faraj cheese plate champagne and chocolate mousse. Love mousse chocolate. And so that's what we're having in the blue lingerie. Okay, okay,
Chris:what the big launch, okay?
Kelli:And then we're gonna sounds
Chris:like some dirty when you say like neglige
Kelli:we leave the boot luxury. And we go to like artists on dice glass ace, right outside first from ice cream, right? But what we get is the croque glass A, which is going to be one scoop, one sauce pressed in a brioche. Okay, right and so we're going to screw that up. We're not screwing that up this time. Don't get the macaroons. Get the croak get the quote glass A so then we're going to carry our quote glass essays over to our reserved seating for the show. Yeah, and we will eat our quote glass ace while eating the night what
Chris:is our reserved seating? Is that that little platform where they they gave pixie dust is that times a little are we on the boat?
Kelli:No, no, it's the platform platform. It's the platform. Okay, really shouldn't get on the boat after you've had this much alcohol. Okay, and so I think that finish your 200 minutes finish our two intermidiate is right there with the show just for us luminous or is it something special show but I'm good with luminous maybe it's harmonious maybe they go back to harmonious just for us.
Chris:They gotta turn that circle though around so that it's facing us. Yeah, but I liked
Kelli:luminous. I thought that was fine. But whatever the nighttime show is we get a private viewing while we eat our croak LSAS.
Chris:I like that. Yeah, okay. Okay. glad you did. Okay, because it was really a coin flip for me. It's either. It was gonna be nighttime for me also. I mean, I love that those first few steps into the park, you know, in the morning and all it's great. But I truly loved the parks at night. They're so special. I will in the Magic Kingdom. Okay, so I'm glad that my coin flip went there. Okay, I'm doing the last 200 minutes. So I am going to start my last 200 minutes at whatever time the The fireworks are. So I'm gonna go and we'll just assume it's nine, nine o'clock five I let's say it's nine o'clock. Okay, so it's nine o'clock fireworks. And we're talking was two minutes is three hours and 20 minutes, right. So we're talking right up through just after midnight, right? And so I am going to grab a Casey's footlong hot dog. And I'm going to sit since I've got the puck out of myself out of yourself. I'm going to sit down on my butt. Because you're never allowed to do that.
Kelli:Sit down on
Chris:my butt. In the right in the middle of Main Street right between the two grassy Hubbs
Kelli:breezes maybe you should be in a hot no because they're off
Chris:ski. They're off center. They're off center. Grass is nice it is but I'm gonna I'm gonna sit right in the middle of Main Street. I'm nobody's coming. I'm here by myself. Right? And I'm watching the show. I'm watching happily ever after. That's the show I've chosen to watch and I'm gonna eat my hot dog. Right then immediately. Right after that, like right when the last little twinkle finishes. I'm gonna go over to the side of the curb. And I'm gonna watch the Main Street Law To cooperate come by, just
Kelli:lovely. That's lovely. So
Chris:the fireworks followed immediately by Main Street Electrical Parade comes by Lovely. That's my first hour. Those two experiences are roughly 30 minutes each, okay. Okay, so that's my first hour, then I'm walking straight through the castle. And I'm going to hit in this order. It's a small world. I'm going to come out of there, I'm going to across the street to peer pain because it's walk on man. It never is one that I'm going to have to mention that I'm going to Big Thunder, Tiana's by you adventure pirates that I run across the park to Space Mountain. Okay, then I'm going to hit Tron. Then I'm going to hit seven dwarfs mine train. And that I'm going to spread 30 minutes around for walking time. Between all those rides happening my biggest traverse is going to be from Honda mentioned the Big Thunder and then from pirates over to Space Mountain. Otherwise, it's all pretty tight there. After that, I've got 55 minutes left after that. Okay, okay, so I had done all my favorite rides. I have seen the fireworks I've seen the parade. I'm killing those first two hours killing it. I've got 55 minutes left. Here's where I've just gotten off of the Seven Dwarfs. And I am going to now in my last 55 minutes stroll leisurely around Main Street. I'm gonna go in and out of the shops I might get some sweets at the confectionery I might get a souvenir at the end. Or you might get some special IRS that one place that the ears underclassmen at that time I chose to go and buy those ears. I do that. Yeah, I love lots of pictures with me. I'm gonna get a picture at every photo stop along Main Street me in the castle. And so that's how I'm going to spend most of the time and then just right at the end. I'm going to sit down on Main Street again and experience the good night kiss from the castle. I'm gonna hear Walt Disney do his little speech and I'm gonna see the castle give me a good night kiss. And then I'm going to go out of the park. That's the end of my rescue. And that's how I end my 200 minutes. But I'm leaving Magic Kingdom. I'm out of the park. So now I'm gonna go hop on the little boat ferry and not the big boat ferry but a little bit ferry that goes straight to the Polynesian. Gonna go over to the Polynesian. When I get there. I'm going to get myself a Lappi lap who that from the Tambu lounge that's the drink that served inside the pineapple you get a full on pineapple. And I'm gonna go sit on the beach and watch the water pageant on the beach and the palm leaves and that's I'm ending my day. After my 200 minutes.
Kelli:I do think you may have stretched the rules.
Chris:I was only in the park for 200 minutes. But here's what happened to me in a park that's got a great topper. Alright,
Kelli:so here's here's one thing that I would like to point out to our listeners is that I went to four different pavilions in Epcot, I didn't even cover the whole World Showcase. And there's a lot of sitting a lot of eating and a lot of drinking there. Yeah, you rode like 15 rides in ran yourself silly all over the place. So when we talk about how you dragged me all over the park, I think this is a perfect example of showing if you have 200 minutes, this is what you want to do you want to sprint from one ride to the next. And I want 95 minutes in the French pavilion to eat and drink. I just think this, this shows such a clear difference. The only place I rushed was in the wine cellar when we went Supermarket Sweep, and even that we're still in one place. So I just think I just think that this particular segment has been very telling about our differences. And how we plan a Disney vacation. I'm
Chris:letting you go on with this nonsense.
Kelli:Because it's right, I'm right.
Chris:I am right. I definitely hustle. Or the middle minutes.
Kelli:Oh, look, the music's over the first the music's over first. 60 minutes up.
Chris:I'm literally sitting down the last 55 minutes. I specifically put I'm leisurely strolling, it's music's overhead. That is, that is 60 Whatever. 60 plus 55 is
Kelli:the music over the music's over
Chris:of just being leisurely, right and sit literally sit down,
Kelli:but the music's over. And so now I just wanted to point out how wrong everybody knows I'm correct. I
Chris:did it in a very efficient way there's only two places yet to actually Alright,
