A super color,

Kelli:

super whatever. The incredible thing is.

Chris:

This is the super color, fragileistic, awesome Disney Podcast, where each week we discuss, you guessed it, Disney

Kelli:

things you know, things you don't know, and things you didn't know you needed to know.

Chris:

Well, as Walt would say, the way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.

Kelli:

Oh, wait, wait, wait, I can do this. Okay, please stand clear of the doors. Por favor. Man tenga say. Alejaro de las puertas,

Chris:

welcome aboard Disney fam. Welcome aboard indeed. Disney fam. My name is Chris and I'm Kelli.

Kelli:

We are killing it. We are.

Chris:

Does it feel like because this room is so empty that we've got more of an echo?

Kelli:

There's definitely more of an echo. Definitely an echo. You

Chris:

screwed that up. What ears are going with? Huh?

Kelli:

I'm wearing my space mountaineers because that's weird. The entire they're on topic for the entire episode,

Chris:

maybe adjacent? What they're adjacent?

Kelli:

A topic adjacent? Yeah,

Chris:

really. I mean, we're talking future,

Kelli:

okay, today,

Chris:

for sure. So in that sense, we're not talking Space Mountain specific stuff.

Kelli:

I didn't know we were being that picky about the ears.

Chris:

Sorry, we have, I know there are people that this is like, what they listen to the show for.

Kelli:

Okay? Well, there you go. Space mountaineers. They are and I think they're on topic. You think they're adjacent. But hey, did anybody listen to us last week?

Chris:

It's shocking sometimes, but they do again. I think this is a fake name for town, but I looked it up. It's real, okay, Gibsonia, Gibson. It was named after a guy whose last name was Gibson.

Kelli:

So did he make the guitar?

Chris:

No, he did not make the guitar.

Kelli:

Did he make Gibson? He did? He don't. They also make amps,

Chris:

very important in this town, I don't know. I didn't read exactly what? Not

Kelli:

for guitars. No, not

Chris:

for guitars, guitars, guitars,

Kelli:

guitars. I'm sorry. And I said, guitar, you do there's it's because there's a T.

Chris:

It's because you're from South Carolina,

Kelli:

there's a T.

Chris:

This is a tiny unincorporated township just north of Pittsburgh. Get this, though, they should name it salonia, because Jonas Salk was living there when he developed the vaccine for polio. Oh,

Kelli:

that's funny. I was not going there at all. I thought you were about to talk about the shoes salconis.

Chris:

Off to a rip. Wrong start,

Kelli:

I gotta tell you. And this is exactly how I thought it was gonna. Chemistry is on point there. It's right there. Alabaster

Chris:

Alabama. This is a lot of alabas in the alabaster Alabama. 35,000 fine folks, about 30 miles south of Birmingham. Wow, Birmingham, Birmingham. Not Not that one different one, not Birmingham. They probably don't pronounce it that way in England anyway, they probably pronounce it Yorkshire.

Kelli:

They definitely say Birmingham.

Chris:

Chandler Arizona. I love Chandler Arizona. Not that I don't love the other towns too, but Chandler Arizona is a great place, right outside of Phoenix, home to truckloads of professional athletes, because it's such a nice place to live. I

Kelli:

just think like weather. I

Chris:

think weather, I think the proximity to Phoenix, but not being in Phoenix, they got a lot of that. They got a great poker room at one of their casinos in Chandler Arizona. Well, it's near Chandler Arizona. Okay. Football players love to live there. And here we go. Fortaleza, Brazil, situated on the northeastern coast of Brazil, known for its beautiful beaches. I zoomed in on Google, and it is, it is gorgeous.

Kelli:

We need to put that on the list. For taleiza, Brazil, on our list. I

Chris:

think there's a lot of places in Brazil we'd probably go to before we went to Fortaleza, and still get beautiful beaches. Okay, well, all right, you ready for I'm ready. Let's

Kelli:

have the news. I'm

Chris:

excited. Okay, real quick. Thing here, the new Country Bears opened up. We had something else say, right? Oh, yeah. We're moving. We're moving not out of Lincoln, not out of Nebraska. We're moving a grand total of about three and a half miles. We

Kelli:

are moving three and a half miles, but for really great reasons, yes, and it's gonna open up our travel calendar like never has. We're gonna

Chris:

bring we're gonna bring Disney from around the world to this podcast. I'm not I'm not joking now we're laughing like I made a joke. I'm

Kelli:

not you. You want Tokyo next I

Chris:

want Tokyo next summer. I want to go to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea.

Kelli:

Yes, and the move is going to make that. Pop. It's gonna make that so we are very excited about it, but it's gonna make for a chaotic time. It's already made for a chaotic time. Yes, we decided to list the house about a month ago. We bought a house, we sold a house, and now we're just waiting on both things to close and scheduling moves and scheduling repairs. And, you know, naturally scheduling paint and wallpaper and things of that nature. So it's just a bit Cray up in here

Chris:

as per use, but a little more chaotic than normal. For sure, more chaotic than normal. Why we've got all this echo going on here? Yes, because

Kelli:

we've lost a lot of our pillows. But in any case, we are still, you know, trying our best to get things done on the podcast every week. But just realize, between now and probably the end of September, the schedule is going to be just bit Oopsy daisy. So we're going, we're doing our best up in here, and we will come to you when we can, and we will love every minute of That's right, it's such a,

Chris:

it's a it's a break from from life, and we need it. Yep, absolutely all right. So look the country. Since the last time we recorded the country bear, new show opened up. Okay? And it, by all accounts, rave reviews. Oh gosh, rave reviews. People are either I can't wait to go see it. Rave reviews. So but unfortunately, they like, on their first or second day, they did have something happen, and the folks were, like, asked to leave the leave the the

Kelli:

leave the theater. Okay, all right, but

Chris:

at the same time, see, there's a sight gag in the in the show that one of the bears is playing the guitar so ferociously it starts to smoke. He's like, it's, it's, it's, she tears it up, catches on fire. Okay, well, that moment of the show was about the time also that they asked people to leave, ah, and so people that were have me actually thought that the theater was on fire. Oh, because the bear just, Bear was just tearing up guitar. So ferocious guitar, okay,

Kelli:

the guitar. Don't make fun of me. Fun of me. You say it too.

Chris:

I do so, so, yeah. So no, there was no country bear on fire. Just put that. Bear

Kelli:

is on fire. Good one.

Chris:

Um, the the Disney Destiny news cruise ship beyond the treasure is set to sail November of next year. They just pumping out ships. Just wait, that's like a that's a huge heaping ball of four chasm. Forecast, foreshadowing. I man. Oh me, I mix up the words forecast orgasm for some reason and foreshadowing,

Kelli:

I'm telling you y'all episodes might not be steady for the next six weeks, but they're gonna be fun, so I recommend you stick around. I

Chris:

mean, I'm the one that's the same one here, truth. So Disney has submitted a patent to to for a new way to test ride safety. I found this fascinating. So when they have a roller coaster that they, that they, you know, they tell you to keep your arms and legs inside the coaster at all times well, but people do put raise their arms up right all the time. And what? What never happens? Your arms never get chopped off. Your arms don't ever get chopped off. That's because they literally will put this either plexiglass or fiberglass, or even just plywood model frame around the thing that that is further than a human being's hands and whatnot will go just to make sure nobody gets and then they literally manually drag a Roller Coaster the car through the ride to see if it's going to hit anything, because we don't want to dismember a guess, that's always frowned upon.

Kelli:

That's something they really have to worry try to avoid, no dismembering guests.

Chris:

So they've they like, you know, it's 2024 and we got all these sensors and lasers and all these sort of things. So they've submitted a patent to do that same testing, but with sensors, and it's going to just rev, they'll be able to let the machine, let the coaster actually go on its own power, instead of having people manually drag the thing,

Kelli:

is it wrong that I think I would trust the Plexiglas and

Chris:

the Yes, it is wrong, especially for you. It's not wrong for me, because you're an early adopter and you are, am an

Kelli:

early adopter, but I don't think I want a drone or a sensor figuring out how big my arms are. Yeah, it's gonna. It'd be. Fine, like I think I would rather have it Kelli shaped Plexiglas.

Chris:

It's gonna be less downtime for the rides. So we're all for it. Okay,

Kelli:

unless

Chris:

somebody loses over

Kelli:

the part that there's a haunted mansion parlor in the Disney destiny or was I just not listening?

Chris:

Yeah, I said it because, see, I'm

Kelli:

looking at your notes. For the first time ever. I've never seen your main street notes. I know, and normally I don't skip a bunch of them, but you skipped so many. But there's a devilles piano lounge, a pirates pub and a haunted mansion parlor, and you didn't say that, and I think that's important to note haunted mansion parlor. Yeah, they should put that on all their ships, because right now, as it stands, if you and I go on a Disney cruise, we're only going to go on the treasure because that's where the Haunted Mansion parlor is, yes, but you're telling me that the destiny is going to have one too now. So now there's two ships we could go on.

Chris:

Yep, oh no, there will be at the end of next year,

Kelli:

right? That's but that's what I'm saying. Okay, why did you skip all the other things you

Chris:

remember? Like before the show started, and I said we're gonna spend a significant amount of time in the news segment on the Disney legends.

Kelli:

Disney legends are not listed in your news segment. Oh,

Chris:

right, because I just added them.

Kelli:

Oh my gosh, but that's why skip the piranha mug available at trailer Sam's.

Chris:

We're never doing it this way again.

Kelli:

That's huge. The piranha mug at Trader, Sam's and the reflections dBc Lakeside resort is back on. Okay, now I've caught us up. Now you keep moving to your Who'd you say? The Avengers, the team, some kind of a team situation. What's it? The Disney legends legends? This a superhero thing?

Chris:

No, oh, let's start over the Disney legends. So I like this, d 23 now every year they they finish out D 23 by having the Disney legends induction ceremony. It's like the Disney version of the Hall of

Kelli:

Fame for actual people, right? Yes, it's not like Donald Duck became a legend.

Chris:

Donald Duck is also a legend.

Kelli:

Is he like? Sure he's in the hall of fame he

Chris:

should be. I only know for sure about this year's class because I've got it in front of me right now. You see completely checked

Kelli:

this episode,

Chris:

it appears that like 11 people were inducted this year. Okay, that's not right,

Kelli:

like 11 or definitely 11. It's

Chris:

not even 11. I just can't count. How many 1414,

Kelli:

it's 14. Looked like 11 on your screen, Honey, where are your glasses? Oh, my goodness.

Chris:

It was hosted last Sunday night by Ryan Seacrest, of course, because he closed everything. I even think Kelli Ripa made a joke during the ceremony that she was so glad that Ryan Seacrest had found something else to host. Awesome. So, and it's available to stream on Disney plus as of last night. Oh, if we want to see the legends ceremony, yes, so some, some call outs Angela Bassett is now. Oh, I mean, teapot man. I don't even want to crank so let's just recount what just happened. I don't we may not even get any more of these legends. Yeah, yeah, I know. I said, Angela Bassett. This happens so often. This is such a glimpse into our lives. I said, Angela Bassett. She says, Oh, the teapot. That's not Angela Bassett. That's Angela Lansbury. That's murder. She wrote. She

Kelli:

wrote, yeah, there's absolutely Angela lansbury's in there.

Chris:

I'm sure she's a Disney legend, because she was in bed knobs and broomsticks also, I'm sure. So who's

Kelli:

Angela Bassett?

Chris:

That's to Charla, Mama. Oh,

Kelli:

I love her. I

Chris:

know you do. Okay,

Kelli:

great, okay,

Chris:

I thought the beautiful, middle aged black woman was an elderly, dead white woman, but whatever Angel

Kelli:

Lansbury is dead man,

Chris:

I don't want to say I hope so, but after saying that, I really do hope so.

Kelli:

I don't remember hearing the angel Lansbury had died. So sad, the segment has gone completely awry. I don't even remember what the news was.

Chris:

I'm not going to talk. Music's ended, tight 35

Kelli:

that's the goal. Tight 35

Chris:

oh gosh, okay. Look, I'm gonna intro this. Okay, because you are out of control.

Kelli:

The guy. And I think I'm on it. I am most definitely on my game. We

Chris:

are gonna have 30 minutes to just giggle. So as we just sort of hinted at D 23 Expo those it's got the longest name in the world after D 23 Expo just completed this weekend. It started, I think, Thursday, and it has been just chock a block full of cool activities and whatnot. We decided we were going to focus both Tomorrowland and World Showcase this week on Park related things. Now, Walt, Disney World, got the lion's share of the news which it needed to. Everybody's always complaining about California and right everywhere else getting these cool things. So you're gonna take that, and then I'm gonna talk about just some other things that they also announced that are experience related. This isn't movies and TV and all the other stuff that they covered, right? And

Kelli:

hopefully we'll have like a bonus episode covering those things like we did last year. Sure. Okay, so then I'm gonna start, yeah, go for it. Okay, so this is stuff coming to Disney World. Yes, okay, so let's start at Magic Kingdom.

Chris:

This is my most favorite one. Oh, my God. So we can do this.

Kelli:

I know I don't like us. I don't either. Okay, we're not gonna do it like that again. So the first thing is, what if I just skipped What if

Chris:

I went down? Break me good to me with the

Kelli:

cruise ship and the tiki mug. So the first thing is the Disney starlight. This is a new nighttime parade. So here is how the official announcement is written. Disney Starlight will continue the nighttime spectacular legacy started by the Main Street Electrical Parade, using the latest technology to tell new stories about the characters you love. All of this is brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy. Who's the Blue Fairy? Pinocchio? Really? Yeah, we call Pinocchio the Blue Fairy.

Chris:

We call the fairy in Pinocchio the Blue Fairy. There's

Kelli:

a fairy in Pinocchio.

Chris:

Off the rails.

Kelli:

Okay, well, how do you think he gets his legs? There's some Bobo fairy. How do you? How do you that's blue and it's not kin to Tink. Is she kin to Tink? Is it her own fairy? Or are fairies gender neutral? I don't know. Okay, Blue Fairy, in addition to the beloved characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios films Peter Pan and Kanto frozen and more. So this sounds like the Blue Fairy is gonna, like lead this parade, and she's gonna bring in and tell us new stories about all these characters that we love. I don't know why we're focusing on the Blue Fairy. This just is, why wouldn't it be Tink? Tink, it's all a lot of tank has a meet and greet pink flies by her teeth like

Chris:

that. First Lady. Here you are. Why would, oh, man, why

Kelli:

wouldn't we use Tink here? I don't know why zero. I didn't even know it existed Exactly.

Chris:

She needs some love. No. Fairy Godmother gets all kinds of stuff,

Kelli:

right? Fairy Godmother. It could or the one they never gets any love because nobody knows it exists.

Chris:

It could be those three fairies in Sleeping Beauty,

Kelli:

the most recent Pinocchio movie was a huge fail. Well, I don't so I don't know.

Chris:

What do you think made the guys legs come to life? Well, you are,

Kelli:

you are slowing down my segment. Okay, okay. You're excited about this one because you think it's going to be like the electrical

Chris:

it is great, and I'm giving it all the love. Okay,

Kelli:

okay, I'm for it. We have

Chris:

no shot next. We've

Kelli:

got the Pirates of the Caribbean tavern. This looks like it's immersive. You're hoping for it to be like trader Sam's, or maybe have some performers like the adventures club. Where's this tavern going to be? It's

Chris:

going to be over there across Tortuga. Yeah, okay, over in that area, they

Kelli:

need to do more with Tortuga. I agree. Over there, that Tortuga Tavern is not nearly as you see, something raucous enough. Have you been drinking? No, this is water in my Stanley. Gosh, okay, it's just been quite the day, honey. I don't know what to say. I might have fallen asleep during shavasana yoga. I mean, I just it's been a day, I don't know. Well, that opens next year. Okay. Well, I'm glad, I'm glad they're doing something there. I don't think the Tortuga taverns got a good menu, and I think they can work on that. Now, we've got two cars attractions coming. These are going to take us out of Radiator Springs and into the American west as part of the reimagined frontier land. One is a thrill ride raced through the mountains with geysers and mud holes, and the other is a more friendly, friendly ride. These are what kind of family friendly Gotcha? Family friendly, right about two to five years out. So do we do we think these are going to be like the cars ride in Disney in California?

Chris:

They it's more of a that is a like a race through Radiator Springs. This is more like an off roading adventure, is what I

Kelli:

get. Okay, all right, I'm for that. And then, of course, I'm going to send them a bill for this next one. Here they are doing a villain's land that is most likely going to be located on the backside of rivers in America, and it could actually impact rivers in America. Now here's what I'll say is, apparently the Disney Twitter verse is just blowing up over this that Rivers of America and Tom saw your island might be coming down, right? This, what you told me earlier, be replaced by these things. Look, y'all, nobody goes to Tom Sawyer Island. It's rarely open, and the the steamboat closes at like noon, like anytime I'm bored and there's long lines or whatever, I'll be like, oh, let's go get on this steamboat. But then it's closed. And then the last time we were on the steamboat, nobody was on it, and I looked down in the water, and I think I saw oil. And so I don't know that it's actually steam. I think it's make believe steam, and it's really like putting gas into that lagoon. And so I think maybe it's killing some stuff, and that we should be more environmentally friendly. Get rid of the boat has nothing to do with Disney, and nobody cares about Tom Sawyer Island. Okay, so let that go. People. Bring it down. It's time for new innovations and fun things, right?

Chris:

Okay, I was, I was chatting online with our good friends over at Disney assembled. They posed a question, what was the most controversial thing announced? And I said, oh, people are going to lose their mind over exactly this thing. And my thoughts on it are, you can't complain about this kind of stuff and also complain about long lines at the other rides, because there's no there aren't enough attractions,

Kelli:

right? Because nobody's going there. It's not doing its part for crowd control. You got to put something there that's going to draw the people. And

Chris:

I don't know what else needs to hear this, but that ain't a real River. It's not, it doesn't go down the Rivers of America. No, no, no, but

Kelli:

there are ducks and stuff in it from time to time. No, there are ducks. I've seen ducks. There's tons of ducks at Disney. It's they've got, like, a whole Instagram account. I'm just saying that, like, I think we should get rid of the boat that's polluting the river, the fake River, whatever. Okay, sure. Moving on. Blog Mickey says this, new villains. Land will encompass all of your dreams, nightmares. The space will be home to two major attractions, dining, shopping on an incredibly twisted, grand scale. Work has already started, but still two to five years out for completion.

Chris:

Here's what I'm saying. Okay, imagine that. What if that had already been there for the last 30 years? You you would absolutely be bonkers, bananas, go nuts for it.

Kelli:

Yeah. Now it's going to be huge, I mean. So we're talking about two basically new lands. So this is going to be an expansion like the size of Pandora, I

Chris:

think so like between both of them, because they're, they're basically reimagining frontier land, and they're gonna put it in a villains land. It's great for it. That's great just, just shrink up the size of Liberty Square. A little bit easy. I mean, they're safe because that's where, that's where the boat is, the river boat is in Liberty Square. It's also where my hunting mansion is. Well, nothing's ever gonna happen. Careful, nothing's gonna happen to that. But that Liberty Bell thing, I think, is probably going away. Oh, you can get rid

Kelli:

of the Liberty Bell, and you can get rid of get rid of the the thing next to Liberty Tree tavern. What is that? The diamond horseshoe. Nobody goes there. That's right. Okay, so reimagine that. That's right. Okay, so now we're going to move over to animal kingdom. So tropical America details have been announced. So that's what we're calling tropical America. Is what we're calling the area that was, yeah, okay. So it will take place in the all new Pueblo Esperanza, or Village of Hope, in an all new Indiana Jones story that's going to replace the dinosaur an Encanto ride through attraction through Casita, bringing the furniture to life and carrying us through the house, ending up in Antonio's room, which is, of course, the best room in the house. And I hope there's animals everywhere in a rainforest,

Chris:

that's why you choose his room. Course, Animal Kingdom no

Kelli:

Antonio has the best room. A new carousel made by the town's wood carver, and the Hacienda will take over the area currently held by restaurant assaurus, and will be one of the largest quick service restaurants at WW. It will serve regional delicacies. Now, this is all supposed to open in 2027 that's a lot, a lot. That's a lot for two years. You know, it

Chris:

that, by the way, I'm calling it. Audible. I'll take over and take from Epcot down. And I

Kelli:

was gonna do the Zootopia. Okay, you did. You could do so the next one is Zootopia. It's called Better zoo gather, which I don't know. I think they could have worked a little harder on that, a little more. This is gonna be the new show in the Tree of Life, replacing A Bug's Life. And it's expected winter 2025 I'm for Zootopia. I love Judy the Bucha, Judy Hopps, Judy Hopps and the sloth. I mean, I cannot get enough of that sloth every time, every time he moves, I just die laughing. So I think, I think that's gonna be fun. I'm, I'm for that. I think we could have worked a little bit harder on the name.

Chris:

I'm gonna just take the opportunity here too. I know I'm late to the party on Zootopia, plus on on Disney plus, man, the show is cute. It's great. Love Zootopia. Just, here's another plug to go watch that after it's been out for like, two years. Okay,

Kelli:

so you're gonna pick up here at Epcot, Yep,

Chris:

I'll pick up here at Epcot. Okay, we'll do. We're all showcase here. All right, so at Epcot, there's a new lounge coming to Spaceship Earth. Not a lot of details on it. I'm assuming it's going to take over that space, or most of that space, where you exit Spaceship Earth and they've got that big globe where your your picture, sort of dives down into where you came from. Wait. Is

Kelli:

this a lounge for everybody or just everybody? This

Chris:

is an everybody lounge. Wow. Wow with your privilege. Gosh,

Kelli:

what a shared lounge area. Man,

Chris:

opening in 2025, you are. You are shameless what you are. Blog Mickey describes it as it will take inspiration from the geometric sphere the Zen space for families. Families got you there anyway. Yeah, really together and enjoy refreshments will be draped with rich textures and warm metallic tones, giving it a mysterious and elegant intimacy. That's fine.

Kelli:

I mean, I'll just be over there in the pyramid thing. I hear you over figment in my private lounge.

Chris:

Oh man. And test track three point there. Now some of us remember the original test track and and, of course, test track two point 2.0 that we know and sort of love today is going away, set to reopen in 2025 that's a pretty fast turnaround for what it sounds like they're going to do there either. Well,

Kelli:

I think they basically just update, like the technology and sort of re skin it, but the ride itself doesn't usually change. Well,

Chris:

I mean, for the second one, it did. I don't anticipate this one's gonna change all that much, though. I mean, it could not, you know, they don't. They don't turn those things around, like, super fast. And that's pretty quick for a ride like that. So, yeah, I mean, I think it'll use all the same track and all, um, is that all? That's all I've got. Okay, Hollywood studios, a Mandalorian and grow goose scene will be coming to Smugglers Run. So that's coming in 2026

Kelli:

Oh, that's interesting. I read that and thought,

Chris:

this is a problem.

Kelli:

I thought, yeah, no, you shouldn't have sent me the notes. I read that and thought, the one where it's different every time you get in Star Tours. Star Tours, because that would be perfect for Mandalorian and grow goo. Why are we doing it to Smugglers Run. I

Chris:

think the Smugglers Run needs to have multiple movies anyways. Run

Kelli:

is, I'm just hot take. It's not good. Okay,

Chris:

that's not all that ought to take, unless you're the pilot, unless you're

Kelli:

the pilot, that's what I'm saying, unless you're the pilot. Smugglers, wrong is not that good. So why do I want to ride it a bunch of times? Yeah, okay, put it on Star Tours.

Chris:

You asked why? It's because the their movies coming out in 2026 Yeah, okay, so they've got a full length feature film, because it's a PR situation, yes, energy, okay, integrated communications is what we'd like to call it in the industry. This will be fun. Monsters Inc land, this construction to begin next year and open in 2030 Wow, exactly. This would be a big deal. Think Toy Story land, but it's Monsters Inc, yeah, right. The ride sounds awesome. Okay, so this was Josh de Morrow describing it. So if you remember, in the Monsters Inc movie. They're they're hanging on to that one door that's sort of zooming around this hallway of doors or corridor doors or whatever. That's going to be a ride. Yeah, that's going to be awesome. So here's how Josh tomorrow described it. He said, The first time I saw Monsters Inc, all I wanted. To do was ride on one of those doors, like Mike and Sully. You'll you'll go into the factory and experience the first suspended coaster ever at a Disney park. Remember in the movie how those claws would grab the doors and hoist them up into the air and take them away. We're doing that too, and you're going along for the ride.

Kelli:

I mean, I got to tell you, by 2030 this is going to be a 10 day trip just to do what you want to do in the parks, right? Because they're just expanding so much, which is, you know, again, brilliant as

Chris:

well. They're, they're having to, but they've, they've, you know, they've been telling us about the blue sky dream for

Kelli:

four years. Well, covid slow us down, slew us down, slowed us down.

Chris:

I literally have a drink and you're just falling apart over there, just, I'm

Kelli:

telling you, it's just been a day, honey, and I didn't sleep last night, and I'm only sleeping every other night now,

Chris:

so hard. So that's the those, this is a disaster. That's the That's Walt Disney World. That's all just Walt Disney World. So good on them. Yeah, it's a lot, especially after what they just did to Epcot for the last

Kelli:

you know well, and I mean, they've also made plenty of changes at Hollywood studios and animals just open Tiana's, right? I mean, they've been, they've been doing some stuff. It's not like they just been resting on their laurels.

Chris:

Walt, disney world needed some specific love. Okay? So other things that are happening, so at Disney's, California Adventure Park, Avengers, infinity defense and stark flight lab are going to be opening up, so basically doubling the number of rides that they have in that Park

Kelli:

campus. Really, really cool. Yeah,

Chris:

I'd love to see it with Deadpool and Wolverine walking around. Yeah, that'd be cool. So let's see here. Four. Count them. Four new Disney cruise ships will set sail between 2027 and 2031 we've just about convinced ourselves to do a Disney cruise, just

Kelli:

about,

Chris:

I mean, I think we probably, I think we, I think we have convinced ourselves to do a Disney cruise ship, but it's got to have a haunted mansion parlor. I understand. So

Kelli:

Who you trying to convince I'm just saying, like, it's great that they're launching four new cruise ships, but how many of them are going to have a haunted mansion parlor? Well,

Chris:

if they're smart, they'll have them on

Kelli:

all of them. Well, let's just see how smart they are.

Chris:

There are currently five ships in the fleet, with four under construction right now. And then these four would bring the entire fleet to 13 ships. I guess money on the water. I guess they decided that they're making money.

Kelli:

It seems like they're making money. Good for them.

Chris:

How about this one? Walt Disney, a magical life will debut in 2025 and it will include the first ever audio animatronic. Walt Disney, yeah, that's that's pretty strong. I don't want to be the Imagineer that has to put that together, though. Well,

Kelli:

I mean, here's what's creepy about it is they're probably going to use his actual voice with, like, AI or something, yeah,

Chris:

and yeah, of course. I

Kelli:

mean, that's a bit creep tastic. Like, once I'm dead, I just want to be dead. I don't turn, that was a real turn, you constructing like a me, you know, and having some AI voice yelling at you through, I just want to, I just want to die, you know, I should go and so at some point, like, is

Chris:

this, I don't know. Are we violating him?

Kelli:

It feels like a violation. It

Chris:

feels like a bit of a violation. We're not exhuming him.

Kelli:

He basically

Chris:

frosted really, I

Kelli:

don't know. I think you just made that up. That's right. Next thing you say he's gonna be like, living on the moon. Definitely gonna Google that. That is creepy. Tell me they didn't freeze him.

Chris:

I think they did freeze him. Oh, tell you to Google, but you can't right now. That is

Kelli:

that feels like a gross violation.

Chris:

I feel very violated. You get your phone, I can Google it go ahead, but keep going. All right, so Disneyland Paris, they're doing a whole immersive thing out there with the frozen land and all. We saw a lot of construction on that stuff while we were there last year. Rumor is

Kelli:

not true. Walt, Disney was not frozen. Thank God that was. A very creepy little trail you took us down there.

Chris:

They are also exhausted. They are also going to be opening up Pride Lands. This is a lion king themed land at Disneyland Paris. That's going to be a really this is going to be at the Disney Adventure World, I think, is the really terrible name they came up with for the replacement for Walt Disney Studios. We can do better than that. When you remember we went in there and they they had that they were building that man made lake out there. That whole lake is going to be surrounded by immersive lands, frozen land and the pride lands are two of them. Pandora is coming to Disney's California Adventure with two new attractions there. That's a big deal. We know how what a big deal Pandora was in Florida, but

Kelli:

they hope they sell those candles, the candles, the Pandora candles. What

Chris:

are you talking about? Oh, the scented candles. Okay, we don't have much more to go a cocoa themed boat ride also coming to Disney California victory California Victor Park really had to give it well too.

Kelli:

I like a cocoa themed boat ride I'm shooting

Chris:

there. Construction begins in 2026

Kelli:

cut you got it will include cutting edge and edge and cutting edge animatronics, don't we always include cutting edge animatronics, like everything's cutting edge animatronics.

Chris:

People really hate, you know, they hate us. Other they hate those animatronics with the video projected face,

Kelli:

those were cutting edge at one time, I

Chris:

know, but people hate those. You see lot of hate for those. They really hate Elsa in that frozen ride.

Kelli:

We're missing the outro.

Chris:

All right. Well, look, if you like this mess, go leave us a five star rating and leave us a review. If your place allows for it. You can find us on Instagram, at SCF, ADP. You don't have time to go through all your letters.
