I'm Tim Heale, a British Army veteran, broadcaster, military historian and author of The Parallel Six series, with 44 years of service in the British Army, serving in Germany during the Cold War, Northern Ireland, the Balkans, Afghanistan and Iraq.
Each episode brings together real military stories, forgotten history, travel, interviews, and personal experiences from over fifty years of adventure. From battlefields and memorials to regimental traditions, motorcycle journeys across Europe, and life behind the microphone, you'll hear the stories that rarely make it into the history books.

Walt is a Dad, family man, a yes to life and a self proclaimed gym rat. With an unquenchable thirst for learning new things by have good conversation with well...anyone about anything. And looks at life like looking at an E.K.G, it is good to have ups and downs and a flat line in no good! A good conversation when both sides truly listen to each other and hear what each has to say is the inception of true change. Let's get to it!
With my Yes attitude to life and live by the phrase "money is a lubreacte to experience" it has taken and put me in some awesome and questionable places. From traveling the world, working clubs, riding a motorcycle across the country on a bet, being a bodyguard, and making a full recovery from being paralyzed from the waist down.
Now I have a beautiful family and overflowing with gratitude for the life I have lived and living. I enjoy conversation about anything and can speak deeply about many topics and wide on even more. It sets my soul on fire to have good conversations and I am one of the most easy going people you will meet and easy to laugh!would love to hear from you to get a chat going about me being a guest.
